Could not create JCOClientConnection

Hello,
I've created a WD application that use JCO connection.
I successfully run it from the web dynpro content administrator.
and the ping/test for the MODELDATA is successful.
but If I copy the app. url an paste it to different browser,
or if I try to run it from the developer studio, I'me getting a JCO connection problem with the following error:
Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: BI_MODELDATA - Model: class com.model.BIQuery. Please assure that you have configured the RFC connections and/or logical system name properly for this model!
Any idea what might be the problem?
Thanks
Ami

Hi
After creating new JCO connections, try to test and ping it.
Metadata logical system name is used for Dictionary Objects(WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST)
and Model data(WD_MODELDATA_DEST) is for Application.
As you told that it works fine previously.
I think you have chosen wrong logical system names for model data and meta data while creating models. I mean logical system for application instances is used for meta data instances and vice versa.
Just confirm this thing.

  • Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System:

    Hi,
    I am facing a wierd problem in using the JCO destinations.
    I created a page where it is using some JCO destinations say SAP_R3_HumanResources.
    when i open the page it is working for the first time .without closing the page if i open the same page again it is giving the following error
    Error connecting using JCO.Client: null
    Error connecting using JCO.Client: null
    Pernr:Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: SAP_R3_HumanResources - Model: class com.swissre.CustomData. Please assure that you have configured the RFC connections and/or logical system name properly for this model!
    Please let me know how to solve this issue
    Thanks
    Bala Duvvuri

    Hi Bala,
    It seems that this is a custom webdynpro application which when executed causes such problem.  This might be due to JCO connection not released back to the pool.
    Please refer to the following threads and that might be helpful.
    Re: JCO Connection close
    How to close a model object connection for Adaptive RFC?
    You might have to call disconnectIfAlive method on your model.

  • Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: MUSA_MODEL_DATA

    Hi,
    I am facing a big problem...I have created WebDynpro Application & when I am running that application from WebDynpro, it's showing the page but giving me the error message as:-
    Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: MUSA_MODEL_DATA - Model: class com.bcone.bcool.musa.model.MUSABAPI. Please assure that you have configured the RFC connections and/or logical system name properly for this model!
    What do I do? what connections I have to check?
    pls help.

    Hey if you are connecting to SAP system making use of adaptive RFC model you hav to create logical systems(JCOs).So while creating the model you have to specify 2 logical system names(one for model data or on for the meta data).If you have not created the JCOs or if the JCOs are not active  then you are going to get this type of error.To activate those JCOs ask your administrator to activate the JCO for metadata of your application.If you are having proper credentials then log on to portal
    System administration>webdynpro>expand the local directory>select your project>click on maintain JCOs and activate the JCO for the metadata.
    Or else change the logical system in your application.

  • Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: SAP_R3_HumanResour

    Hi,
    For all the standard ESS (sap.com) the JCo connection used is SAP_R3_HumanResources .
    All the applications are working fine.
    I am trying to add a test Component in one of the (sap.com~eepro) for testing a standard BAPI call for getting user details.
    I have used the same Model and the same SAP_R3_HumanResources destination name.
    But i get the following error when i try to execute the standard BAPI_USER_GETDetails (non - HR).The other applications for standard components (Vc ) work when i run the application.
    My question here is why a custom , local webdynpro when try to make a RFC call using the running already existing JCO connection throws such error.
    How could this be solved.Note the connection is running and working fine for all the ESS webdynpros!!
    Error:
    Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: SAP_R3_HumanResources - Model: class com.test.hr.model.Test. Please assure that you have configured the RFC connections and/or logical system name properly for this model!
    Your experience would be worthy enough.
    Regards,
    Swathi

    Hi Swathi,
    Here are some suggestions to trace down to the actual problem.
    1) First check if all users are having this issue. (All other applications working and only one application giving problem)
    2) If no, then take list of users having this problem and check their portal and SAP accounts
    3) If yes, then concentrate on testing the JCo connections and the user account mapped in JCo settings
    Possible things u can check is user's portal account (locked or not), SAP account (lock or validity), pernr mapped (validity), JCo user (check for lock), ping and test JCo connections
    If none of them are issue, check the logs if there are any trace for this issue. I believe there must be certainly one. That can help u going further.

  • "Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System" error

    I get this error each day around 3 PM, like the JCO connections where never released...
    What should be the JCO settings for this simple app, can someone help me understanding the way to configure JCO connections (or a pool) properly?
    - 1 application (expirationTime 1 hour, logon using SSO ticket);
    - Uses 4 RFC models : A (calls one R/O RFC function), B (calls one R/O RFC function), C (calls one R/O RFC function) & D (calls one R/O RFC function and one update RFC function);
    - all the 4 models uses the same JCO destinations : WD_MODELDATA_R3_STANDARD  and WD_RFC_METADATA_R3_STANDARD;
    - users : 10 (who could possibly work in up to 4 windows);
    Note that I've added these lines in the CC of the models, good idea or not?
    - CC of Model B (before the RFC call) : reuse of the the ModelA connection using "Model1.setConnectionProvider(Model2)" command.
    - CC of Model C (before the RFC call) : reuse of the the ModelA connection using "Model1.setConnectionProvider(Model2)" command.
    - CC of Model D (after the RFC call of the update function) : "model.disconnectIfAlive();" command.
    Thanks for your help!

    Seems that the « Reuse connection » command is essential to assure that an application use ONLY ONE Jco.  I get rid of the disconnectIfAlive.
    Recommendation 1: Put all the BAPIs that you call in the same system into the same model!
    Recommendation 2: If you canu2018t follow recommendation 1, make sure that the two models synchronize their (JCo) connections!
    // two separate model instances are created ...
    MyFirstModelTypemodelMyFirst= (MyFirstModelType) WDModelFactory.getModelInstance(
    MyFirstModelType.class,
    WDModelScopeType.APPLICATION_SCOPE);
    MyOtherModelTypemodelMyOther= (MyOtherModelType) WDModelFactory.getModelInstance(
    MyOtherModelType.class,
    WDModelScopeType.APPLICATION_SCOPE);
    // ... but the first model manages and provides the
    // connection for the other model
    modelMyOther.setConnectionProvider(modelMyFirst);

  • Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical Systems

    Louis,
    is there any jco connection with this name Z_GZD_YYGS_MODEL_DEST
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Make sure that you have mentioned the New JCo destinations name in  new WD Project JCo references
    Tab.
    And you are able to ping And Test the New JCo Dest in Webdynpro Content Admin

  • Could not create JCOClient Connection

    I am seeing the issues that are common, as pointed out in these threads:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=%22couldnotcreate+JCOClientConnection%22&adv=false&sortby=sdn_updated_on&sortmode=descending
    But I have increased the pool to 100 and connectino max to 200 in my 2 JCos (transactional and metadata).  The transactional RFC uses ticket, and we have the tickets configured on the back end.  The metadata uses a hard coded user with full rights.
    When I run the web dynpro, I get a series of the JCO Errors:
    Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: 'SAPERP_MODELDATA' - Model: 'class com.sap.bb.va02_bb.model_gen_func.Gen_Func'
    When I change the ticket user in the transactional RFC to my hard coded user, there are no problems.  Yet, the ticket tests good on the back end in the JCO Maintenance screen, and I used my account in both tests, so my personal authorizations on the back end are valid.  Could the ticket be expriring too soon?  How can I check this?

    Can you connect to that DBMS using that driver, from a simple standlalone
    Java program?

  • Could not create JCO in SSO although connexion test is ok

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with my JCOs. I defined JCOs tu use SSO and test them (test and ping). Everything is working, the sso is ok.
    Now when I launch my application I have the message : "Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System:...etc".
    This is strange because if I switch the JCO to user/psswd mode, it works !
    Can anyone help me ?
    Thanks
    Sylvain

    Sylvain,
    Silly question: have you turned on authentication on your WD application?
    Have you defined sap.authentication=true on WD application in NW IDE and whether or not you are prompted about credentials when starting application in browser?

  • Could not create task file

    We are installing SAP R3 4.7 sr1 on Linux SuSE SLES9, 32/bit.
    Problem: During the installation of DI, phase Database Load (Pst Processing), installation stopped , and in the log file said
    Could not create task file tmp/sapinst_instdir/.../SAPREPOS.TSK
    Anyone with the similar problem? Solution?
    Best regards,
    Igor Kokai

    Hello:
    I do not know exactly what of the following elements contributed to fix the problem, but
    following is the list of changes we did in a 3rd try to install R/3 on Sun Solaris.
    1.  Get latest SAPINST.
    2.  Use a different installation directory, which is permitted by the use os a new SAPINST.  We used something outside /tmp, which is used by default by the SAPINST that comes with the CDs.
    3.  Delete the whole installation and start again, because by just using SAPINST in the middle of the installation, the problem was not fixed.
    4.  Change the SID from DEN to DE1.
    5.  There was an answer in sdn about the problem telling a linux user to use another environment variable that was for HP-UX, but since it was suggested for them, we took it, just in case. That was also done in the middle of the installation when the problem was happening, but did not fix the problem.
    6. We did not install the oracle patch 9.2.0.7 because the patch is the one that looks for a bunch of sun patches, that although we already had them, since the error we were getting was oracle related, it was decided not to do that for now.
    7.  Smile and go ahead without desperation.

    Juan

    I have verified that the service account for the SPUCHostService is a domain account belonging to the the WSS_WPG local group (I also tried adding to the WSS_ADMIN_WPG group with no more success).  The WSS_WPG
    group has read and write access to the log folder mentioned above.
    I started troubleshooting this when I tried to activate and use the CRM 2011 list control.  And found that other sandboxed solutions also fail which lead me to look at the SharePoint 2010 User Code Host, which will not keep running.
    I have a Sharepoint 2010 enterprise farm with one WFE and one seperate database server all on a single domain.   The WFE is running on Windows 2008 sp2 (64 bit).
    I look forward to your advice / suggestions.
    PS.  I have been working on this for a couple days, and have read many issues that seem to be related, but I have already checked that the Service is now set to automatic, that the service account is a member of the WSS_WPG group and should therefore
    have rights to the Logs folder.  It is also a member of the Local Administrators and the Performance Log Users group.

  • Could not create Delivery in VL01N

    Hi
    Previously our Client use to sell some Trading type of material to their customer on Third Party Scenario basis....ie) They place the order with Vendor, inturn he directly send it to the Customer....
    Now Our Client wants that material has to come to his W/H and Customer should come to his W/H and do the inspection and has to take the delivery.
    ie) Based on Customer PO, he will create Sales order
        Based on Item catogary  BANC and Order Type OR, the Item catogary TAB will be Triggered and Based on   Item catogary TAB, the Schd.Line catogary CB will be triggered....and Based on Schd.Line catogary CB the PR will be automatically triggered with Acc.***.Catogary "E'....this will be converted in to PO and for the same GR will be done and the stock is updated as Special Stock as "SALE ORDER STOCK"
    My problem is if I Create Delivery in VL01N to the customer based on that Sale Order...The Warning mesage is coming as  "No Schedule Lines Due for delivery up to Selected Date" and I could not create the delivery...
    It will be highly appreciated if anybody can help me in this regard
    Regards
    S.Baskaran

    Hi baskaran,
    Check the Delivery Date of that order( In schedule lines u can find the Delivery Date) and check the VL01N Transaction code delivery date
    these two should be same.

  • Could not create JVM in Windows 7 64-bit

    Hello,
    I'm trying to launch my java web start application in a windows 7 64-bit machine (8 GB RAM) with the parameter -Xmx4g in the JNLP file (java version 1.6.0_27). I get the error "Could not create the Java Virtual Machine". When I reduce it to -Xmx1000m it launches fine but at some point my application crashes because of java.lang.OutOfMemoryError. When I run the jar file java -jar -Xmx4g MyApplication.jar from the command line it runs fine and never crashes.
    The same application can be launched in windows XP SP3 (2GB RAM) with -Xmx1000m (java version 1.6.0_26) and never crashes.
    So basically what I've concluded is that in the 64-bit my application runs out of memory (even though it works fine for the same dataset in the 32-bit) but I cannot find a way to address the extra memory I need from the JNLP file without having the error "Could not create the Java Virtual Machine".
    I'm not sure if there is an obvious solution that I'm missing, I've looked online but I'm no wiser. I would appreciate any help!
    Thanks,
    Laura

    I have a thought. 1gb works, 4gb does not. That seems to stem from the 32 bits limitation. However, you run this on a 64 bits CPU.
    BUT! Are you trying this under Internet Explorer? I know from earlier problems that Windows 7 defaults to the *32 bits* version of Internet Explorer, even on 64 bits systems. Something to investigate.
