Hello
This is an admin tool and as such can only be found in the Oracle Home associated with your Discoverer Administrator, ie on your local machine.
It is a Windows program and will not work on Unix.
Best wishes

according to instructions, it installed properly.
i could not find jrmc.exe in my windows, to access it.

thanks in advance.If you installed JRMC using the installer, you should have a new entry in your start menu.
Which version of JRMC did you install?
The installation dir default valyue for the latest JRMC is C:\Program Files\Java\jrockit-jdk1.6.0_29-R28.2.0-4.1.0
If you don't find something there I suggest you try reinstalling.

Could not find java.exe
I've installed the jdk 1.4.2 with netbeans, but as i try to execute netbeans i received an error message saying "could not find java.exe"
What do i need to do to fix this error? thanksOkay, I just moved to a Mac, which automatically has the 1.4.2 jdk installed. So I downloaded 5.0 and NetBeans 4.1. I set the platform for a certain project (I wish I could change the default, but I don't think it will let me) to 1.5.0 but still get an error when I try to use generics and the like. What am I doing wrong?

OS Version: 2000.4.3a
OS Service Release: 2000.4.5bSR21
OS Upgrade: 2000.4.5a
Bars Version: 4.0.15000
CUCM Version: 4.2(3)sr4b
During the upgrade process of our CUCM 4.2(3) to version CUCM 4.2(3)sr4b the database replication between our 2 servers (1x pub, 1x sub) failed. After fixing this via dbhelper tool (everthing´s green and smiling again) service seemed to be ok.
But now Cisco Bars does not work anymore. The backup process of the publisher fails with "Error=[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL-Server connection." So it looks like some kind of database setting for bars is misconfigured after the republishing process.
Yesterday I tried to reinstall BARS (now in the newest version 4.0.150000), but the same error message occured. Now I get the message "Could not find Cisco Unified database on this server" when I try to configure the Backup source within BARS.
Curiously the backup of our second CCM (sub) works as expected (but without CDR and TFTP Data). The "BackAdmin" User exists and is not locked (and wasn´t changed manually at all).
I am runnig out of ideas... :-(
Any hint or idea on how to fix this is kindly appreciated
best regards
MichaelMike,
I don't have anything definitive here but I am wondering if there is a discrepency between the database names. In SQL Enterprise Manager, you can go to the Publisher and see what the current database name is. It will be the one being replicated and will take the form of CCM0300 or CCM0301 or CCM0302. You should see more than one. Anyway, take note of the name.
Then on the Publisher launch regedit and go to HKLM\Software\Cisco Systems, Inc.\DBL\
Look at the values for DBConnection0 and DBConnection1.
It will be something like DSN=CiscoCallManager;Server=;DATABASE=;Trusted_Connection=yes
Does the in the DSN match what you expect?
Also, going to back to SQL Enterprise Manager, check out the permissions on the database (Right Click->Properties, go to Permissions tab).
Another thing to check if you think it is permissions related is the AdminUtility.exe (c:\program files\cisco\bin\). This can be used to resync system account passwords.
TBH, I am just shooting in the dark here but these are things I would check.

Office Web Apps - "Could not find trace string in ULS logs" unhealthy?
I have reviewed everything I could find on unhealthy WAC clusters as my problem seems unrelated to certificate or missing components. I've already digested

The particular configuration is an Office Web Apps 2013 ([X-OfficeVersion, 15.0.4551.1005]), running on top of Windows Server 2012, configured for http access (SSL offloaded NLB cluster) and finally linked to Exchange 2013, Lync 2013 and SharePoint
2013. Everything works as expected from client side after setting IIS ARR to handle all reverse proxy bits.

I suspect these might be related, but can't seem to find any logical explanation why this should cause the Get-OfficeWebAppsMachine to report HealthStatus of Unhealthy. If related, is there a way to disable this check or remove throttling in a safe
way? Alternatively if this is some coding issue (I've not found any other blog/QA dealing with this particularly) it would be nice to get confirmation of this and potentially a fix/solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Hi ChristiaanB,
You get this ULS error because you change the log verbosity of the OWA farm. I wrote an article for this on my blog : OWA unhealthy uls issue

Hi,
I have installed Oracle11g_win64_11gR1, Database and Client.
The issue is unable to invoke "sqldeveloper", getting the following error message. Could you please help ?
FYI. I have already downloaded and installed installed JRE and JDK.
ie. C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\ and C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24, still did not work.
C:\Users\oracle>java -version

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_24-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.1-b02, mixed mode)
Let me know, if you need more information. Here is the error message.
Error Message
=========
(1) if I invoke sqldeveloper, directly from the location " C:\app\oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin " using explorer, I do get error message

(2) if I invoke sqldeveloper, directly from the locationC:\app\oracle\product\11.1.0\client_1\sqldeveloper, it prompts me to enter "full path for java.exe".
When I enter full path and continue, still it continue to prompt and ask the same input.

Edited by: sivapara on Feb 16, 2011 1:08 PMI was able to resolve this issue by performing following.
1. Go to the location where sqldeveloperW.exe is being executed from.
2. You will find a file sqldeveloper.conf in that location. Edit this file and change the value of IncludeConfFile to point to actual place. For me following were old and new values.
OLD (Wrong) : IncludeConfFile ../../jdev/bin/ide.conf
NEW (Correct) : IncludeConfFile ../../ide/bin/ide.conf
After making above change in the sqldeveloper.conf file. Save and close it. Restart SQLDeveloper. You will not get the error anymore.
Thanks

SQL Server Express 2014 on Win8.1: Could not find the Database Engine startup handle
Hello,
I tried to follow all the similarly titled posts in this forum, yet no solution seems to work, so I hope I can find some up-to-date suggestion here (most of the older posts refer to versions from 2008 to 2012...).
I have installed Visual Studio 2013 (with the latest Update 2 RC) on a freshly installed development workstation with Win 8.1 with all its updates. Now I'd want to install SQL Server 2014 Express, but the setup keeps failing with the dreaded "Could
not find the Database Engine startup handle" error (the log follows below).
What I tried:
1) download again and repair. Same error.
2) completely uninstall by launching setup.exe /Action=uninstall (success), then rebooting the OS, then installing again. Same error. I did this twice, the second time I also manually removed any directory left out in C:\Program Files etc.
When I launch the setup, I select all the components for installation in the package SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe (1.12 GB, last downloaded today -Apr 3, 2014-), and accept all the defaults including the proposed services accounts. There is no preexisting
SQL Server instance, as expected.
The setup takes its time, and finally fails with the error quoted above. I really do not want to reformat my HD and fully reconfigure my workstation, which took about 3 days... Could anyone suggest a solution to have SQL Server 2014 setup so I can start
developing instead of wasting time in administering the system?
Thanks to all! The log follows.

I suppose that it was really your nr.3 which made the difference. I changed NT Service\MSSQL$SQLEXPRESS to NT AUTHORITY\System for the Data service. I'll then change it again as suggested (any suggestion about a "standard"
account to be used here?), even if this is a development workstation using SQL Server Express only as a local database for debugging, so security is not really a big concern.
Thanks for the feedback.Ya I know No3 was real step but just added more info so as to rule out any other possibility.
No not as such, you wont believe,quite few pf my clients I have worked for keep it with local system and they have not complained yet ,they are afraid to change account as few of them faced issue SQL Server not coming online due to logon failure( after changing
startup account to some domain a and that was happening due to some AD policy.But if you have nay plans to move Critical database in production which would be act as Database to some Internet facing application please follow my suggestion
of running SQL Server with Least privileged domain account.

Good morning,
I'm experiencing the following issue when installing Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012 (with tools, SQLEXPRWT_x86_ENU.exe) on the laptop of my company;
Installation goes plain until around the end of the progress bar, it stops on the setup of
SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install_configrc_Cpu32
giving 7-8 times, even pressing "Cancel", the message "The requested control is not valid for this service";
After this, I receive one last message ""Could not find the database engine startup handle", then installation ends with failures, in particular the Database Engine and the Server Replication failed to be installed.
I've put in my SkyDrive the error log I received after the install;
I'm at full disposal if you need further information,
thank you in advance
Best regards
FrancescoWell, i just ran into this issue and the problem was lack of admin rights. It was my company's laptop so got the setup initiated by my company's IT team with admin rights. However, the upon completion of setup, i go the same error messages as stated above:
SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install_configrc_Cpu32
giving 7-8 times, even pressing "Cancel", the message "The requested control is not valid for this service";
After this, I receive one last message ""Could not find the database engine startup handle", then installation ends with failures, in particular the Database Engine and the Server Replication failed to be installed.
Also, if you open SQL Server Configuration, the status of the service is "Change Pending" and you would not be able to set the startup login type to Local Service/System/Network.
Then, I just got my account added as Local Admin and then tried to start the service and was able to.
However, I am not sure whether same was the case for you.
Please mark the answer as helpful if i have answered your query. Thanks and Regards, Kartar Rana -
[Jar Executable] Could not find the main class. Progam will exit.
Hello,
I am a French person. Excuse me for my English who is not perfect.
I seek to create an achievable "jar". I followed the instructions given in the url http://java.developpez.com/faq/java/?page=execution#creationJar, and on the site of Sun.
I have today only one class which I posed in a specific repertory "Class".

Manifest-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.5.0 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
Main-Class: Commission2007
.I've left the space line at the end of the file.
Here the result of execution of my order "jar":
C:\#Java Dev\2007_Commissionnements>jar cvfm Commission2007.jar META-INF/Commission2007.MF -C Class/ .

Open = > Change = >" C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\bin\javaw.exe "- gravel bank" %1 "% *". Thus not of problem on this side there!When I double click on the file "jar" lately created, I have the error message according to: "Could not find the main class. Progam will exit. " I do not understand the reason of this error. I consulted all the subjects on the treating Net of this subject but without result. I thus call upon you.
Perhaps that the cause is in my code which however functions perfectly when I carry out it with the order: "Commission2007 java". The class "hand" is quite present to see the code below. You can find the totality of my code on the bond http://www.developpez.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1870361&postcount=74

public static void main(String args[])
Commission2007 editer = new Commission2007();
editer.show();
editer.addWindowListener(editer);
}I thank you in advance for your assistance.
Cordially, Gilles.Salut,
It has been my experience that it is never a good idea to name your .MF file anything else other than MANIFEST.MF.
Try naming your .MF file MANIFEST.MF and rebuild your JAR.
Bon chance. -

Does anyone know how i can sort out this problem!
Thanks!Salutations rajmak2000, tu nous disais :

Hi !
If you've got the latest version of flash, the message should
says
something like "could not find the file flash8b.ocx" instead
of
"flash.ocx" (who is, it seems, flash 7.0).
I suspect, once again, that registry rights are broken.
Try this script :

Error: Could not find a JVM
Hello Great and Powerful answerer of questions.
I am trying to learn Java. I have Win98.
I have the program called JCreator. When I complile a .java file into a .class file it works fine.
However, when I try to do the same under DOS I get:
Error: Could not find a JVM
Does anyone know what I can do to make both work?
It used to work under DOS without the error.
Thanks so very much for any solution!
I have scoured the internet and can't find the solution to this problem.
Did my JCreator program steal the JVM? Can I fix this?Thanks for your quick reply:
I just re-installed the jsdk and re-booted.
I then went to DOS prompt and converted the .java file to the .class file.
But when I went: java Ellsworth and hit return it said again: Error: Could not find a JVM.
I know I have a JVM in the root C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.0_01\bin\java.exe
Actually I don't know if the java.exe is the JVM or where the heck it is located!
Right now I'm downloading Download Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition 1.3.1_02
which has the JVM in it. Do you think this is the way to go? -
U401 touch windows 8 audio driver unable to install error could not find divice for this driver
u401 touch windows 8 audio driver unable to 0wau05w8.exe install error could not find device for this driver
kindly advisehi karthi2lenovo,
Welcome to the Forums.
If the conexant audio drivers from the lenovo website doesn't detect the device, can you try to:
1. Open Device Manager (press Winkey+R > type devmgmt.msc)
2. On the device manager, open Sound, video, and game controllers and Other Devices then check the status (if there's a yellow exclamation mark, error codes, etc.)
3. As an alternative, try this conexant driver from station-drivers:
Conexant High Definition Smart Audio
Version 8.64.59.52 (Win8)
Let me know your findings,
neokenchi
