"Could not play preview" on 3GS (OS 4) for any Itunes store track

1. This has only occurred since my OS 4 upgrade
2. I have full wifi net access (and can connect to the store OK)
Basically every time I try to preview a song I get the message "Could not play preview" very annoying!

Hi again, I'm still seeing the problem consistently. Does anyone have any suggestions? Linksys did not have any solutions for me, either.

Hi all
My iPhone is exhibiting some odd behavior. The iPhone's Safari, Google Maps, applications, etc. work great on my home wifi network. However, I am experiencing two problems with iTunes and Youtube apps. First, in the iTunes Wifi store, for example, I can browse songs and even purchase/download them. However, I am not able to play a preview. Each time I tap a song to hear the preview, I get the error message "Could Not Play Preview." Second, in the YouTube application, I can browse videos, but as soon as I select one to view, I get the error message, "This movie could not be played." This problem happens consistently on my home WiFi network. Oddly, both features work fine on EDGE or on a different WiFi network.
Therefore, I have narrowed the issue down to my wireless router, but the router works great! I have never had any problems with it until these isolated iTunes WiFi store and Youtube problems. So, you're probably saying to yourself, well, you should really be on a Linksys forum right now. But, because these are isolated issues on the iPhone, I thought this would be the best place to try first.
Has anyone seen this problem before? Does anyone have a solution? Is there a port or something I need to open on the router or on the iPhone? I would appreciate any help. Below are my phone and wireless router stats.
iPhone (1st generation)
Latest firmware (2.0.2)
No 3rd party alterations
Linksys BEFW11S4 V2.0 wireless router
Latest firmware (that I can tell)
Broadcasting with MAC Address filter

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.
Sorry, just this minute went to insert image and it is giving me a message saying this sort of content is not allowed?.
The most recent key I altered is in: HKey _local _machine. System\class - 4D36E965-E325-11CEBFC1-08002BE10318. Upper Filter data: Upper filter NTIDrvr SiRem GEARAspiWDN.

While playing tv shows offline, an error message pops up. "we could not complete your itunes store request. the network connection could not be established. there was an error in the itunes store. please try again". It interrupts the viewing

I've got an Apple ID problem, too. All of the sudden in the midnight between August 31st and September 1st, the new apps I picked up on the App Store hung forever 'Waiting..' in my iPhone and never turned 'Loading'. When a substantial amont of time had passed, they reported, they 'could not connect to the App Store' and .. disappeared! Well what they told was not perfectly true because I could however connect to the store as I could browse and pick the apps, but the apps just didn't load. I tried to log into my account in iTunes on my Windows 7 laptop, too, and there got exactly the message in the topic title.
It appeared later my Apple ID did not completely fail because when I switched from my home WiFi to the phone 3G, everything worked just as nothing happened. Logically, this intimated my WiFi had flaws. Or, some place between my WiFi router and Apple servers did, to be precise. My router was not to blame because I did no changes to it whatsoever.
All right, it is Saturday today and my ISP is running in unmanned mode meaning no hotline, but I call them on Monday unless the problem disappears by itself. I just wonder what I say, because from non-i-world point of view everything works well, and I know for sure guys in the ISP support don't own any i-stuff, (because they are all android fanatics) . I'm not telling them my Apple ID to let them reproduce the problem on their home equipment, which means I come almost totally proofless.

Why am I not able to see a home page for the itunes store?

When I click on the itunes store to purchase songs...nothing shows up but a page to download a new software. It will not let me leave the page as well. I would like to purchase songs. What should I do?

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:

Rentals can only play on one device/computer at a time. Have you tried to play on the computer and still have that window open?
Have you transferred the rental to iPod/iPhone or iPad to watch?

Photoshop/Bridge CS6 Could not build preview because of a disk error: Mac10.8.2

The crashes always occur while editing a photo in the Camera Raw editor in Bridge (most of the time they are JPG files, yes you can edit JPGS in the Adobe Camera Raw editor) and then hit the "Open Image" button that will open the image in Photoshop. That's when things lock up. Often Bridge, Photoshop and InDesign all are "not responding" and have to be force quit.
Always when I'm editing a photo in Photoshop that is on a server I get the " Could not create a preview because of a disk error message" which I have to hit the OK button to clear. I just tested this several times and I never get the disk error message when editing an image from my hard drive. I suspect there is a network communication problem.

I am having the same problem. I work off of a server too and I get the "Could not create preview because of a disk error" message too. The actual preview itself is there once I hit OK but this is so annoying because it keeps me from batch processing images. The message comes up for each image you try to save out so you have to set there and hit enter between each image when you run an action. Any help to correct this error would be greatly appreciated! I have been using this version of Photoshop without any problems for about two years, and then I upgraded to OS X Lion last week and now I get a disk error when I try to save a file. The message says "Photoshop could not build preview because of a disk error". I tried to save the file to a thumb drive, but I get the same problem. I believe I also got a scratch disk error one of the times as well. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? I have already downloaded the latest update. I have tried restarting my computer. It works ok for a few times after restart but then the error returns.

I guess it could be a coincidence, but since this started happening right after I installed OS X 10.7 I have to think it has something to do with that. I'll try using the repair disk utility... Don't have a 10.7 disk since i installed from the app store, so not really sure what steps to take.

Could not read preview - A77

When connecting my Sony A77 to the computer in order to import photos to Lightroom 3.5 I am not able to doubleclick on the tumbnail to show preview of the thumbnails. The thumbnails are showing, but it seems to be very low resolution, and when doubleclicking on a thumbnail the message "could not read preview" is displayed. If I remove the memory card from the camera and put the memory card into the cardreader on my laptop I can view high resolution thumbnails, and also get previews. Any suggestion?

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess that's an option, but it is kind of annoying that it is not possible to use the cable from the camera to the computer. Not a big deal, but thought it was worth checking if other A77 users have experienced the same problem, and if there is a fix. After all this works fine on my old A350.

Sony smartwatch 3 could not play music using walkman

I got the sony smartwatch 3 for christmas, with the intention that i can use it to track my running and play music at the same time via bluetooth headphones. Hwever this has not been able to happen. using the walkman app i have created a play list and enabled download to wearable. my watch said syncing music. so then i open smartwatch using walkman, up pops the song and play button. i click it and its says "could not play song". but strangley i can play the song on my phone and control it with my watch ok. however i do not want to have to take my sony xperia z2 out running with me as it is heavy to run with.
has anyone had these issues? would love to hear if anyone can help me solve this issue its driving me nuts.

If you've checked that the Walkman is securely connected and you've selected the music library but still have no audio then the unit may need service. Give Sony product support a call and they can assist you with getting it set up:

I would recommend deleting the affected movie from your iPad, and redownloading the movie.
