If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

IPod Classic 160GB film library sync problem - trying to sync films that have converted from purchased DVD to mp4 format locally, not purchases from the online store - all other libraries sync perfect - why?

Hello Apple and the iTunes Windows PC users community.
I am trying to sync films that I have converted from purchased DVD to mp4 format locally, not purchases from the online store. The mp4s all appear and play successfully in my iTunes application but will not sync across to the iPod film library folder.
For your information: I am using iTunes 11.1.3.8 on a Windows 7 64bit machine with 500GB hard disk and 8GB of Ram in the UK.
I have restored the iPod classic 160GB three times now to see if it was a hardware problem with no joy. Each time all the music restores properly as do the podcasts and all the items in TV programmes all appear to sync and work fine.
I have also tried to copy films into the TV Programmes to get around it with no joy. They always go to the films section to start with. It is just the Films library that does not sync - all others work perfectly. As a last resort I have uninstalled and re-installed iTunes with no joy either.
I am technically savvy and have gone through the itunes and ipod settings but nothing appears to make a difference - This is the first time I have had to post here as I can usually solve the majority of the ipod anomilies but this one has me flummoxed.
Has the film encoding type changed in the newest itunes update? - Has this happened to anybody else and is it a hardware, software, or operating system problem.

Having uninstalled the current version 11.1.3.8 and loaded and older version of iTunes 10.7.0.21 I can now categorically confirm that the newest update seems to be causing the problem as the films and TV Programmes are syncing perfectly on this older version.
If you are going to do this please dont forget to remove the ' iTunes Library.itl' file as this stops the older versions from running as I've just found out

If you made your purchase from the online Apple Store, did you create an account? If so you can sign into your account and view the purchases that you have made in the recent past. Unfortunately, the information retained by Apple and available for your viewing only covers the last 18 months.
If you made the ourchase with a bank card, oerhaps you can loctae that information in your bank card records and with that information Apple may be able to locate the purchase for you. Call 1-800-MY-APPLE in the US when you have located the bank information for the purchase.

The Apple store in the US only ships to shipping addresses associated with a billing address on a credit card in the US.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

I bought the album Glad Rag Doll from the Apple store, and it showed up in Purchases on the left side of iTunes, and my credit card was charged. However, it did not show up in my Music list, and when I Search for it, it does not appear. It must be in there somewhere. How do I get it into the Music list? Thanks

Actually you purchased it from the iTunes Store, not the Apple Store which is a different entity. Just to avoid possible confusion.
First, look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the tracks there to be downloaded. If not, go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. See if the album is listed. If it is, you should be able to download it there. You may need to delete the entries for the album in the Purchased playlist before the download link will activate.

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I have a 3GS which I purchased from the Apple Store in the UK (unlocked) without a contract. I now want to use it when on holiday in Australia. I have tried a Vodaphone sim but it doesn't work. Vodaphone in Aus say it should work as all sims the same.

The Vodaphone store in Australia says there is no difference between a sim for an iPhone to any other phone. But it still doesn't recognise the sim. Is it because sims in the UK are different for iPhones than android phones? It seems rather unfair that I can't use the phone that I purchased unlocked in the UK in another country. I also have a 4S which I was using to keep my UK sim in while in Australia. That was also purchased unlocked from the Apple Store. I haven't tried it but would it be any different?

If your phone is officially unlocked, it should work fine on any supported carrier's network. Are you getting any error messages when you insert the sim?

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011 from the USA. After installing Mavericks, Adobe CS6 crashes whenever it is plugged into a 27inch cinema display I purchased from the apple store in China (We moved to China). It works when not plugged into 27inch display.

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011 from the USA. It is now running Mavericks. I connect it to a 27" Cinema Display that I bought in China after we moved to China. Before I installed Mavericks, I could run all of the Adobe CS6 and Adobe CS5.5 applications on my Macbook Pro while connected to the cinema display. Now that I have Mavericks installed, whenever I am connected to my 27" CInema display my Adobe applications crash upon opening. I know this is a rare scenario, but does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? Is there a new driver that needs installed? I'd appreciate any help.

I am also having a similar issue. I used Adobe Lightroom and my whole display goes black. Even my laptop screen and the lights on the keyboard go black. I can still hear the fan running, so I assume it is just the display. This is my first Mac and I have had nothing but issues. I think I am going back to Windows after this.

I downloaded audio books from my local library, using Open Media. Transferred to my I POD. I can see it on my I Pod, but not in I Tunes??? Other books purchased from the apple store, cannot be seen in I Tunes???? Help!

There is a OneClickdigital ereader available in the App Store. Download that to your iPod to read pdfs and books from the library. And you might need to download the OneClickdigital eaudio player to listen to audiobooks from the library. Once both are downloaded sync you iPod again to transfer them.
