Could not read any NLS message catalogue! while applying patch

Hey,
I am posting on behalf of someone.
We are trying to install an Oracle patch (the patch p3948480_9206_AIX64-5L) on AIX 5.3.
We get the error Message:
ERROR: Could not read any NLS message catalogue!
I have checked the Paths and install additional language packs to match the install of another machine we have the Oracle path installed on which hasnt helped.
the NLSPATH leads to directories which are correct.
Is it critical that the LANG environment variable be "C" ?

Oracle Universal Installer needs some files in the directory where the runInstaller (UNIX) or setup.exe (Windows) is running. So, when you invoke runInstaller (UNIX) or setup.exe (Windows), you should invoke it from the directory where this command is present, or you must specify the complete path.

I'm trying to install Oracle 10gR2 on CentOS4 (kernel 2.6.9-34.EL).
I followed the pre-installation tasks the best I could, but when I try to launch runInstaller from the location where I uncompressed the setup files, I am getting error "Could not read any NLS message catalogue!"
I'm new to both Oracle and Linux, so I don't really know which direction this is complaining about.
Any pointer would be appreciated ;)

Good morning;
Trying to run 10gr2 installer on linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 2) and we cannot get the installer to even start, we keep getting the NLS message catalogue error. Anyone run into this? If so how did you get around it.

Hi,
I had the same error this Weekend at oracle 10g R2 for Linux x86_64 install. The database directory was only 400 Mo compared to the cpio file more than 700 Mo => maybe the command : cpio -idmv < <filename> failed.
remouved dir database.
ran the same command again with the user oracle.
=> solved my issue. The directory database is now 766.9 Mo (for my release) with 1780 files.

Ad Hoc Query - While executing - System could not read any data

Hello Techies,
When I am excuting my Ad hoc query - for one personnel number for which Infotype 28 subtype 0001 has been maintained
But system is throwing this error -
System could not read any data
Message no. AQ_AD_HOC226
Diagnosis
There is no data available for the specified selections.
System response
The results list in the lower part of the screen still displays the last list to be created.
Please let me know why does it happening ?

"Could not read from source" exporting on Mac with CS4

I'm using Premiere CS4 on a MacBook Pro, trying to export a film and getting the "could not read from source" message. I did not have CS3, and I'm not on a pc, so the Windows KB articles and posts don't apply. I've read all the posts I can find on the forums but none of these solutions is helping to date.
Are there any troubleshooting steps someone can recommend to figure out what I need to do here?

I have been having the same issue on my desktop and laptop, although I have Windows XP Professional. Originally had CS3 and then installed CS4. The problem was fixed by uninstalling everything Adobe (even Reader), using the wincs3sclean, and reinstalling the CS4 products. The first time it did't work on my laptop, so I did it a second time and it worked. I don't have Creative Suite, but this still works. Here is the link to wincs3clean:

I am having the same issue but have confirmed that the profile value for FND: Personalization Document Root Path is the same in both TST and PROD enviroments.
Still getting the error "Could not export any Document"
I've done a successful export/import from DEV into TST using the same root path.
Any ideas?

Only found one question similar and NO ANSWER to it.

Updated to firefox 4, and suddenly can't connect with any browser though I am connected. Error message reads "could not read chrome manifest file."

i updated firefox and now I can't access the net on any browser. Wireless router everything is connected and up and running. Just not the browsers. uninstalled it, reinstalled it (didn't work), unistalled it again and internet explorer won't work either (not at anypoint after intial update was run. read several peoples simalr problems with the "could not read chrome manifest file" issue and solutions to no avail. uninstall and system restore did not work either. What did it change on my system, and how can I change it back?

Do a clean (re-)install:
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
* It may not be necessary to create a new profile, so first try if it works with your current profile and if not then create a new profile.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

According to your description, you mean that when you run your load test using the Test Iterations way and then get the error message, am I right?
If yes, please you try to close the VS, and then open this VS again. Then clean your load test project/solution and then re-build it, run your load test again check this issue again.
In addition, I suggest you could try to create a new load test and then run it using Test Iterations way check if you get the issue for the specified load test or all load tests.
If possible, I suggest you could share me simple load test for us so that we will further help you.
You could upload your load test to OneDrive and then copy link here.

Do you have backups of all the data on the startup drive? If not, do nothing else until you've backed up that data, if you still can.

Windows error message "Setup could not read the CD you inserted..."

I partitioned my Macbook HD using bootcamp assistant and allowed 32GB for the partition. Then I tried installing windows using the assistant. I only get as far as verifying the windows CD (not far as which file system to use FAT32 or NTFS). Then I receive the error message, "Setup could not read the CD you inserted, or the CD is not a vaild windows CD." I am using the Windows XP Service Pack 2 version - not an upgrade. Also I tried booting up straight to the CD but that did not help either. Any suggestions?

Please disregard my question. Although my Windows XP Pro documentation and folder did not say upgrade I just looked at the CD for the tenth time and just saw Upgrade printed on the CD. I'm not making excuses but the holographic images make the CD a little hard to read. Sorry for the trouble. I guess I will be going out and buying the full version now.

Make sure that your date and time settings and time zone are accurate (Settings - General - Date and Time). Reset your phone to 'Set Automatically' and then try signing in again - this worked for me. My date/time settings were not automatic (candy crush cheats!!).

Have you tried scanning the source image? Disk Utility > Images menu > Scan Image for Restore…

Premiere cc 2014 crash with message "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."

I updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014, all the other Adobe CC 2014 software works great, but Premiere doesnt even load. The starting page (frame) comes up - my whole computer slows down and after a minute or two it crashes completely and comes up with the message : "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."
I'm running a macbook Pro 15" (2014) with 16GB RAM and 760GB SSD.

Please go to the following location and rename the folder to old_folder name
User/user library/Application Support and rename Adobe folder
User/user library/Preferences and rename the Adobe folder
Then go to Documents folder and Go to Adobe/Premiere pro/8.0 and rename 8.0 folder
Make sure that you are in user library if you are not sure check the link below.
