Windows 7 PC, Itunes stopped working, tried to reinstall and got: Error message: Could not remove shortcut itunes.ink

Have seen this numerous times in uninstall/reinstalls. Have had no bad effects from just ignoring it.

For anyone else wondering, the clue was in what was displayed on the screen after I turned iTunes Match on again: it asked whether I wanted to add this computer. Having copied my iTunes library over from the old machine, I'd completely forgotten that iTunes Match identifies each computer uniquely (not each iTunes Library), so was never going to work with this one until I specifically added it. Sorted!

'Could not find the requested node error' when guests join the meeting room

I am working on a program where the owner would allow guests after they knock to enter the meeting room. Upon acceptance, they would also be permitted to publish/subscribe audio.
My ' meeting owner' application code is an adaptation of the Knocking Queue example. The 'owner app' code has the following settings in its creation complete.

The above error is thrown just when the 'guest' is accepted into the meeting room. The guest has not published anything at this point.
The chat part is working fine.
I have tried different ways to resolve this issue but I am not getting anywhere. I have tried different things. Your help is appreciated.

After I did that I tried to install and it just tells me "Thank you for using itunes" without actually installing it.
Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

"Could not rename ..." error when deploying

When I use the asadmin tool or autodeploy to redeploy an EAR, It almost always fail with a message stating that the server couldn't rename the application directory to xxx_old. After this the admin console says that a restart is required. It doesn't help to undeploy before, if I do it with asadmin. If I undeploy using the admin console it seems to work, although I'm not absolutely sure about that since the failure is not 100% repeatable.
Has anyone else experienced this, and maybe found a solution?

In case of a re-deploy, the old deployed app directory is saved (renamed to **_old) in case of a redeploy failure, so everything can be rolled back. This is why the renaming need to happen.
On windows,if there is a lock on that directory (a dos window maybe open under that directory etc), the renaming will fail.
So these are what I've tried:
1. If I just re-deploy the app through admingui, it works fine.
2. If I open a dos window under <APPSERVER_INSTALL>domains/domain1/application/**app/, then when I tried to re-deploy, it tells me cannot rename ** to **_old. The server is still in a consistent state after the failure, I tried to undeploy, it works fine (as indicated from your posts also). Then the other time, I tried to close the DOS window when error happens, and try to redeploy, seems working fine too.
So I would suggest next time you see this, close all the active references to the directory (the dos windows, windows explorer etc), and try it again see if it works. And of course you can try to undeploy then deploy. (The undeploy doesn't need to save the old app directory, so the renaming doesn't need to happen).

After rebooting my Windows Vista 64 bit system, could not access iTunes; after uninstalling I tried reinstalling, but it has been running for more than 24 hrs. Should I cancel installation?

I had been updating my Windows Vista 64 bit system and as a result of a problem, had to reboot my system. Afterwards, I was no longer able to access iTunes. I got a message stating that there was a problem with some of the files associated with the application. A phone rep at Apple's Customer Service provided me with emails linking instructions on completely uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. I did the uninstall, then checked for lingering iTunes files and couldn't completely remove some, but tried intalling the latest version of iTunes. It has been running for roughly 24 hours. The status bar is green all the way across, and when I try to cancel, I get the following message: "Are you sure you want to cancel iTunes installation?" I keep hitting "no," but am staring to wonder if there is a problem with the install. Should it take this long if I have roughly 134 gigs of music? I can still see the music in my computer's C drive, so I am worried that there is an error, perhpas because I didn't clear out all the lingering C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ and all the lingering C:\Program Files\iTunes\. Any thoughts?

It is not just the HP. I have 3 HP computes and 2 Dell computers. 2 of the HP and 1 Dell suffer the iTunes internet block. Took me a while to figure it out also. But, the one thing that is different on the Dell, is that I can leave iTunes installed and not open it and everything works. As soon as I open it, internet access goes down. I am running the latest iTunes 10.7.0.21 for Windows 7.
This error occurs if I try to either update the app or if I delete it and attempt to redownload.
I have an iPhone and an iPad. I am unable to update the apps or install the apps from within the App Store on iOS.
I do not have an AOL ID, as is a common issue with this type of error.
From what I can tell, my Apple ID account seems fine. I logged in, changed some information, and ensured my credit card is valid and updated.
I can download new apps just fine. I am unable to update or install apps I have purchased in the past.

After 30 minutes this morning, no resolution. Then another tech support call this afternoon, 15 minutes in, was escalated to a Tier 2 (Senior) advisor. He said something similar to the above ("this is one of the strangest things I've seen"). He was chatted with iTunes guys and took all my info into the case and was escalating it over to engineering. Said they would be in touch.
So, no solution...yet.
Just to clarify:
iTunes on Windows7: trying to update an existing app, or re-download a prior app, gives the (11111) error. Downloading a new (free) app worked fine.
App Store on iPhone5, iOS 6.0.1: click on UPDATE, switches to INSTALLING...for a second, then switches back to UPDATE. No error message (and nothing in Diagnostic data).
App Store on iPad 3, iOS 6.0.1: same as iPhone 5.
Definitely account related.
I have cleared the store cache, signed out and back in, deleted the credit card data, and re-added, rebooting PC and iPhone...nothing works.
Will post if I hear anything back from Apple.

It just shows that it tries to run in the Processes tab in the Task Manager. I get the error then the pocesses stops.

I too am having the same problem. I have followed the above advice - I followed this advice http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1421 to no avail. For what it's worth, It appears to be isolated to my user account. I also tried uninstalling and deleting all apple software including the itunes folder in my music folder plus deleting the registry keys before reinstalling. I also tried to move th Genius files onto my desktop as per the above suggestions. Any advice?
