It shows up saying could not start the camera. Close other apps and try again when i try to open the camera but no other apps are open.
how do i fix this?
Hi.....i am new here and is not sure as yet how to start a new thread.
I have a bb curve 8310 and think i may ave caused my camera to stop working via uninstalling it....if that is possible.
wen i click on di camera it opens, makes shutter sound and flashes wen i click di trackball but after that it doesnt show di picture that it supposedlt took.
Before this happened i was foolin around with the hide a folder option in pictures and not sure what i did wrong.......my video is not clear either.....please can you help me .....in addition i do not get any of those messages that i see the other users saying that they got for example could not start camera....i am not getting anything like that. all dat i get is a white screen......

I simply open the camera and a pop up saying "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again" appears and only lets me press okay.
Memory seems to be okay, can't figure out what it may be.
Please, how can I fix this? Any help is appriciated.I had the same problem with my Bold and tried everything until out of frustration i just clicked the center picture taking button before the "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again" message came up and believe it or not that solved the problem. Works fine now!

When trying to use the camera on the new 8350i, I get an error message indicating "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again", even if all of the other apps are closed.

Go to Solution.Reset the device taking out the battery for 30 seconds, and install it again.

When trying to start the camera I get this message..Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again.
I have nothing else running other than the phone itself waiting for a call. I can not find anything on Blackberry support for this issue unless I am missing it.
When I first got the phone a couple of months ago it worked fine and I could send pictures, now it is stuck.

Go to Solution.Some say that removing the battery cover and pushing down around the camera lens will solve this problem. Apparently, it's a hardware issue. If it keeps up, you will likely need a replacement device.

We I try to used the camera it gave me a error mesaje "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try openning the camera again"

I have windows 7 SP1 64 bit machine with 8 GB of RAM. and have office 365 pro plus installed on it. I use windows explorer preview pane a lot and suddenly it has stopped working. Whenever I click on any excel, power-point, word file with the preview pane
enabled it gives me the error as below:
for Excel: Not enough memory to run Microsoft Excel. Please close other applications and try again.
For Power point: there is not enough memory or system resources to start power point.
However the file opens fine when I double click it. I have tried the following"
1. Repaired, re-installed office 365 pro plus.
2. Disabled, enabled and changed virtual memory page file size. It did not make any difference.
3. Have verified folder and search options and they are fine for the preview pane.
Is there anything we can do about it?Since we were unable to reproduce in my test machine, we were unable to determine the root cause of the problem. This seems to be happening when Windows is trying instantiate the Office application for the preview in the Preview pane, if the repair
Office still doesn't work, we might turn our mind onto Windows OS level.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Disable all of security programs or Anti-virus on that machine.
2. Disable DEP.
3. If you installed any video or graphic codec programs, please temporary to remove them to check the result.

Try this... I had the same problem and this worked for me.
Go to your system preferences → network → make sure WI-FI selected → advanced → DNS tab. Add 8.8.8.8 to the DNS servers. Go back to FaceTime and try to verify your account again.

Everytime i try to activate my imessages it says could not sign in. please check your connectio n and try again. my connection is fine. why can't it activate my account?
1. Make sure software is up to date
2. Make sure Messages is enabled; Settings>Messages
3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled
5. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
6. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo -

Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/IdentityServices
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. Log out or restart the computer, empty the Trash, and test.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
Basically drag the items in the identityservices folder to trash log out, log back in, empty trash, start messages or facetime!!

Fiori leave request error "Could not start the app due to an internal error"
Hi,
I'm getting this error "Could not start the app due to an internal error" when accessing leave request application.
I don't get this error when I login and launch the app for the first time. when I go back to the home screen and select "My Leave Requests" app again, I get this error.
If I close the error message and do a browser refresh, everything is fine again for the first time, if I access the LR app again- same error .
Other apps are working fine.
I don't see any error in gateway or App logs.

We have required SAP notes now, we are on version 1.22.5.
It is still the same, working the first time I access the App, but subsequent access wont work until i refresh browser.
