Could not stop the extraction
I'm not sure what the error means that it would cause the install to fail.
Observing the /tmp/install_log, I can see the root disk file systems being made, and then:
Beginning Flash archive extraction
Extracting archive: EDHT208_FLAR_1
ERROR: Could not stop the extraction
ERROR: Could not extract Flash archive
Background:
I am building a flash archive using flarcreate off of a running Solaris 8 system and then attempting to bring up a copy of that system somewhere else (disaster recovery experiments).
I'm using the CD based install rather than a seperate jumpstart server.
I have had good luck using flash archives to build Solaris 9 systems based on a reference server, this is the first time I've tried Solaris 8, and the first time I've tried a "dirty" system.
Experience has proven that HTTP doesn't work as a flash archive retreival method because the flar's are larger than 2G. (This one is 8G.)
Solaris 9 gives me an FTP option, which works fine. (Although I really wish there was an SCP option.)
With Solaris 8, I don't have FTP as an option, so I'm trying it with NFS. It sees and grabs the flar ok, then it dies.
How do I get more verbosity in the error message if no one can guess what might be happening?
Could there be a 2G issue with the NFS method as well? If so, what recommendations to folks have to get around it?
I specifically excluded NFS mountpoints in my flarcreate (something that flarcreate initially complained was redundant) and this cleared the "could not stop the extraction" error.
I'm getting another error now, but working through regular Sun support channels to resolve it.
Thanks.

I need help, i have the CC 2014 and i can npt get to associate the "extract filter"
How did you get the Extract filter into Photoshop CC? You will need to undo that - especially if you copied a whole batch of plug-ins supplied by Adobe with an earlier version.

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Am not able to use facebook on my Iphone 4, softwareversion:iOS7.1, also tried to access through safari and chrome that i have installed it gives an error message saying: "safari could not open the page because server stopped responding", i tried network reset, reset the whole device, rebooting , changing airplane mode rebooting nothing fix the issue, but i can access other sites and google , am using Vodafone as my carrier with 2g network, when at home able to access facebook.com through wifi in safari requesting assistance thank you
If you can access Facebook while on Wifi at home, but you are unable to access it while away running on your carrier's 2G network, I could phone your carrier. You have already completed the Cellular Data troubleshooting for the iPhone, so any limitations keeping your from connecting to Facebook over cellular will have to be answered by your carrier.

When I search for stuff on the internet it says safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding and non of my games work either. What do I do to fix this?
Settings → scroll down to Safari → in Safari settings, I selected both Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
IF that does not work -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Finally - if problem still present -
Go to Settings>General>Reset
Reset the network settings - you will need to add the password of your home WiFi in your phone once more
The device should turn itself off & back on then go into Settings>Wifi and join your network -
My iPad2 will not connect to the internet, "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". I've run the AirPort utility and it shows that I'm connected to my Wi-Fi. The connection works with both my iMac and iPhone. I'm concerned that the problem is with hardware rather than software.
Try the following:
1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again
2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
3. Reset iPad; hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo -
Hello - my safari on my ipad2 gives the following message "safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding"...email works fine and I can download from the app store...seems to just be a safari issue
Marc-
The Safari message is probably telling the truth. Is the problem repeatable at several websites, or is it only with a particular one? If all websites, you may have trouble with your internet connection downloading large amounts of data. Mail messages are relatively small unless there are attachments or embedded images.

Safari could not open the page on my new ipad mini's because the server stopped responding- new ipad mini's (2 from separate places) are not working with At & T router but computers work fine. Yesterday I got it to work. Weird. Can you please help me. I've tried everything. Thanks ya'll!
Hello SavannahSweetie,
I was looking into the issue you are desribing, and found a great article for troubleshooting wifi connections with iOS devices. It's called iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections and can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398.
Start with this section, and work your way down if needed.
Basic troubleshooting
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.
Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware. For AirPort Base Stations, refer to this article for information about firmware updates. For third-party Wi-Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.
Restart your iOS deviceHold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.
All the best,

I cannot acces Safari (for the past three days) A message shows 'Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding. How can I rectify this?
Well, you are accessing Safari. It's just that there's a page it's trying to access on the web, one that you last used, and that website is not available. When looking at the dead page in Safari, tap the lower right icon to shrink down the page and then tap the "x" to get rid of it. You can then try going to another site.

Is this a wi-fi iPad? Is it connected to wi-fi? It sounds as if you're not connected to the Internet.

When my iPad is connected to the internet via WiFi I can pretty much browse without problems. However, there are certain instances where a web page is requested and I get, after a bit of time passes, “Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding”. Repeated attempts to access these web pages via WiFi connection always yield the same results. However, if I turn off WiFi I can access the same pages almost instatntly via cellular connection. Any suggestions?
What is the URL which won't open?
