Could this damage the phone or harm me
so basically the iPhone 5s charging devices comes with the lightning adapter and then you plug it into one of those 5w usb power adapters and then it goes plugged into the wall. So my mom wanted to use my 5w power adapter in my room which was not plugged in to the lighting to 30 adapter at the time, but was plugged in the wall. I left the 5w power adapter in the wall because it SHOCKED me. so i left it in the wall and forgot about it there. As soon as she went to grab it i told her not to and she grabs it but didn't appear to get shocked. Then i tried to prevent her from taking it and she was like whats wrong its not gonna shock me! she showed me it wasn't shocking her by plugging in the lighting to 30 adapter into the 5w usb power adapter like 30 times she kept going in and out in and out and then it got stuck so she was wiggling it really HARD! and pulling and pulling . finally i got it from her and took it out but she was pulling really hard and bending it. i got so mad. Im just wondering i just plugged in the lighting to 30 adapter into my mac mini and connected to my phone to charge it. If she damaged the end that goes inside the mac (usb side) would that cause my phone to be damaged if that part of it is damaged and i plug it in and connect it to my phone? short circuit? Finally, could this potentially be dangerous to my health, will i get shocked. i already felt the phone start to get hot and my fingers tingled. am i just worrying?

About a month ago I could no longer connect to the internet on our PC. Every time I clicked on the Firefox icon the Netscape sign-on window would pop up. I would try to close it but it would pop up over and over again. If I tried to close it a dozen or so times eventually Firefox would open up but it would never connect. Just today I moved my Netscape file to the recycle bin. No longer does the Netscape sign-on window pop up but following Network Connection error message pops up: "Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection".. This error window behaves the same way the Netscape sign-on window used to behave. Every time I click to close it it pops open again. After numerous clicks Firefox opens up but it never connects.
Do you have this error message on a Mac computer or on a Windows computer?
I've only seen this error mentioned on a Windows computer.

I am using iphone 3gs since last 4 days. Till yesterday night it was working fine and i have connected this phone for charging . Morning there was apple logo in the screen and every 1mte (approx) it is blinking. I could not restart the phone.Plz help . I have tried to reset even by pressing sleep and home button but it could not help. Please suggest. Still i have connected for charging .
Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out. -

I have been using iCloud since it came out to coordinate my schedules from my phone, ipad and Mac laptop. Last week they stopped synching...I can't upgrade past OS 5.1.1. b/c of memory (1st generation iPad and iPhone 4s). Could this cause the problem after the release of the new OS?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -
My iphone 3gs will not connect to itunes and it says that I need to do a system restore. It also says that I need to enter my password on the iphone to connect to itunes but I can not do this because the phone is in emergency phone call mode only.
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo. -
My Ipod will no longer turn on could this be the battery

More than likely, especially given the lengthy age of the device. Batteries only have so many charge cycles they are good for. After that, only time will tell and if your case, it sounds like it's totally shot in terms of being able to hold any sort of charge.
You can opt to have Apple swap out the battery for a flat fee or you can also choose to send it a third party service center who can do the same job for a little less. A quick Google search for "iPod battery replacement" should give you quite a few results to work with in terms of finding the best deal.
Lastly, if you feel like you are handy with repairing small electronics, you can choose to purchase a new battery and swap it out yourself. There are excellent guides over at iFixit that can walk you through the process step-by-step.

I assume my Apple TV should allow me to view all events, albums and slideshows in my iPhotos app but it only allows four events and four albums to display on my television. I'm using a Optus mini Wi Fi for my home network. Could this be the reason for limited access via my iMac computer?
ChrisNo, I have not chosen photos to share as I assumed that the Apple TV would access all photos and music that are stored on my iMac.

Superb advice R&W! My email sending block using TalkTalk started 2 months ago using Snow Leopard, continued when I upgraded to 10.8.2, and has been persistent on my wife's new iPad (IOS 6.1). Implementing your wise words has fixed all that, and now enables me to call her on FaceTime — previously only she could call me. Thank you so much; this will save hours of further fruitless searching and phoning.

I can browse the web but when I go to play video or you tube it will start stop over and over almost like it is buffering could this be the router all other non iPad devices work
How are you trying to play them, in the iTunes store or the Music and Videos apps ? Downloaded and synced music and videos should be in the Music and Videos apps, and you can stop content that is only in the cloud from showing in them via Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music and Videos 'off' (under the 'show all' heading).
If you don't have your music and films/TV shows in those two apps then you should be able to download them into those apps via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app. -

My Iphone 5 home button keeps pressing itself but stops if put pressure on the bottom of the screen on each side of the home button, i have noticed that there is a screw missing on the right side of the lightning port could this be the issue??
If you are still under warranty, contact Apple to get it serviced. You can also visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider to get it looked at.

There is nothing you can do. That is the Activation Lock that Apple has implemented tout down on theft of their iPhones.
Most likely the iPhone is stolen.
