Please we need to know how to create a capital letter in Adobe Illutrator? It'll be very helpful for everybody.

As mentioned Illustrator does not have a style of bulletted list. Thanks to some great typographical control you can create this using firs line indent (I set mine to -4.5 pt for this typeface & point size). This will give you hanging bullets, though if you change your type, that -4.5 would have to change.

This double tap thing had never worked for me. Surprise, there is a preference to enable it.
Settings > General > Keyboard > Enable Caps Lock.

How could you create 'Last Time Contacted' Smart Mailbox in Mail app Lion?

Hello!
For the purposes of maintaining regular contact with a large group of contacts in your address book:
How could you create a smart mailbox in the Mail App (Lion) which contained that last unique sent/received email from each individual contact?
So ideally just the last email per contact. For my purposes I would then sort by date and find the contacts I havent emailed in a while and re-initiate conversation.
I also thought that perhaps it would be possible through Automator? (I am not very familiar with how to use this app)
Any ideas/solutions would be very appreciated!

Okay, I think I just discoverd a workaround. This will work if you're lucky enough to already have a smart-mailbox folder that persists after close. (Somehow I had two such folders that already existed and weren't subject to the mysterious disappearances on closing the app; perhaps I created them in a previous OS X release?) Anyway, here goes:
Locate an already existing smart mailbox folder that's working properly. Select the folder (in the sidebar).
Duplicate that folder using the "Duplicate Smart Mailbox" Command. (It's on the contextual pop-up menu or available via the gear icon in the lower left of the window). This should produce and exact copy of the folder and the boxes inside, appearing at the bottom of the smart mailbox list.
Edit the duplicate folder to put the smart mailboxes you want in it, and delete the previous mailboxes (duplicates) that you don't want.
The new folder structure should now persist between launches of the app.
There you go. Not the most elegant process, but workable. Don't know if there's a method if you don't have at least one smart mailbox folder already though.

Could You Create Complex App Using Only Swift If That's the Only Language You Know?

Hi. If you've never really programmed, could you just learn Swift and still be able to create complex apps without learning Objective-C, C and the other C derivatives like Python and Java? Is Swift going to be enough coz' it's advertised to be able to create even an operating system it seems without needing to learn any other programming language.

Yes. Swift is a programming language but a higher level language than Objective-C. Get the iBook and take a look for yourself.

How do you create a engraved effect in illustrator cs4?

say for example, i want to make a metal object look like it has text engraved/chisled into it. what is the fastest (but most realistic) way of getting this effect without drawing all of the secondary 3d looking paths by hand based on copies of the flattened text? or am i missing something somewhere?
I wish negative values were available in the extrude depth (extrude & bevel)

thanks for replying i just found that thread five minutes ago.
I have a script font that i wanted to get this effect (like the chisel (down) effect in photoshop):
I also tried drawing it by hand at the center points of the text > pathfinder > divide and then colour approperatly. which is very slow. if you look at the engraving as a cross-section it would be a "V" shape (as opposed to the square effect in your example).
any tips that could help make this process faster is always welcome.

I know how i can create a button but how do i make it activate different vehicles before the race starts.

A bit of advice, You should not be making a racing game as its very clear that you are new to actionscript. In my eye's a racing game is by far the hardest type of game to make.
But to create a button, you draw it, convert it to symbol. Makie it a movieclip Look in the properties panel where it says instance name, give it a instance.
The where ever that button is in your file, place the code in the actions panel on the same location of the button.
You should not ever copy and paste code unless you understand it, you WILL get many errors if you keep doing this as you do not understand the process. If someone offers you code, you should manually type it in. If you type it inyourself, your brain is more focussed on the code, meaning you get used to it easier.
But as for your simple tutorial,
1. Draw your button.
2. Right click, then 'Convert to symbol'
3. Make it of the Movieclip type.
4. Go to your properties panel. Give it a instance name, in this case "btnins"
4. On that same scene, go to your actions panel, and TYPE in:
btnins.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,btnfn);
function btnfn(e:MouseEvent):void{
mc.gotoAndStop(Math.floor(Math.random() * (1+10-1)) + 1);

After finding the correct email address, different adobe help number people told me to come here to ask as there is no phone support. Can anyone get me to an adobe technician that can provide a price quote for finding out what created these files and for getting them converted? Thanks.

Sorry, I understood you to say you had the whole CS6 suite, which includes Illustrator.
As far as finding out what the files are, sometimes you can look at them in a text editor to figure this out. See below; the, Creator Tool line. Not every software package makes it this easy, though.

In fact I wanted to use my former project just to see how I managed it. But it is "damaged" when I want ti open it after the RH update. Now I have RH10 and not RH8 anymore.
I need help on creating a multilingual project with RH10.
In the RH Help document, the procedure is :
Apply French language project settings by selecting French Language.
2 Open an English topic, create a topic for the French language, and translate the content, including the topic title from
English to French. (Do not translate topic filenames.)
3 Create French tables of contents, indexes, and glossaries.
4 Create a conditional build tag, such as FrenchContent.
5 Apply the FrenchContent conditional build tag to French content and topics.
6 Generate output for the French language.
When I create topics with same names, I have a Error message "The file already exists". May be it will work in different folders.

Depending on what you want to develop, you could consider an ''extension'' or a ''userscript''. A plugin probably is not the right type of add-on to create.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

In Address Book, why does Apple let you create custom fields in the Template cards but not have them available for importing?

I open Address Book, go into Preferences, select Template and under the Names field (friend, assistant, father, etc) I add a custom field called "Principal".
I also add two more custom fields in the Email area.
Quit Address Book then relaunch. Add a new contact and the new custom fields, Principal, etc. are there. All good so far.
I have a Now Contact file with about 200 contacts in it. I export all fields as a Text file, Tab delimited. No problems there. With Address Book launched, select Import, pick the text file, leave Text Encoding on Automatic and click Open.
The window that shows the fields for Address Book and fields for the text file side by side opens. This is where you match up the correct fields for importing. If I go to one of the fields from the text file that I created a custom field for, click under the Address Book heading on the Do not import, scroll thru the Apple choices of fields, none of the custom fields show up. Only the original Apple ones are there. Why does Apple let you create them in the Template area but not have them available for importing? Does anyone have suggestions on getting around this?

While most likely not of interest to you, Spotlight can also tell you where the files it finds are located
Hover the mouse pointer over the name, and press Command-Option and the path to the file will be displayed.
As for opening a terminal session in the directory where a file is located, there is Applescripts that do just that as well as specific features in Lion/Mountain Lion terminal:
