Hi I have a swf in dreamweaver that i want to fill the page
or at least centre it, I have tried to centre and position the
image in the middle however dreamweaver keeps putting my swf to the
right

thanks for getting back to me. what i was hoping was that the user could send the email via the site suing their own email settings?
so say the domain is domain.com which the newsletter application sits on. but the user has his own domain of example.com with his own email settings.
what i have done is create a mini newsletter system using addt. i wanted to allow the user to input their own mail server settings and when it clicked send addt would use the email settings to send the email via php.
there is newsletter system like "constant contact" which you can use to send using their system however it comes into the inbox as if from the person who sent it.

Now I know this is done with Flash but I am wondering if someone could look at it and tell me if I designed a page like the one above is there a "workaround" that would allow me to add a slideshow in the middle of the page like they have?
Has anyone "wrapped" a web page around a slideshow? are there any examples I could look at?

Yes you can have a "moving background" and text or shapes or button floating above.
"Moving background" because it doesn't have to be a slideshow per say... A slildeshow is nothing less than a succession of moving images as is a Quicktime file.
QT is what you can have: Create your slideshow using iMovie, exprt your QT and the file to autoplay and loop.
Bring your QT on your iWeb page and design your page....

Shall I have a little rant? I think I will. Apple enjoys a reputation as a manufacturer of reliable, hard-wearing, easy-to-use, cool, state-of-the-art computers. But it seems to assume that its customers' main priority is to be at the cutting edge, willing to purchase the new stuff as soon as it comes out...and queues around the block for iPads and iPhone G4s only encourage them in this. There are a heck of a lot of us for whom the 'reliable, hard-wearing, easy-to-use' part of the deal is overwhelmingly the most important factor in deciding to buy Apple. Now, as a businessperson, I completely understand that, if you build your company on reliable and hard-wearing stuff, you have to find another way of keeping money coming in on a regular basis; but I think that Apple could be a little kinder to those of us who have to think very carefully before buying, and indeed, as I said, have literally to save up for new equipment. If I'm paying double what I would shell out for a bogstandard desktop or laptop, I expect it to last twice as long, and not just hardware-wise; I expect the memory to be sufficient *throughout its lifetime* to cope with the fairly moderate demands which I will make of it.

I'll go for a new MacBook Pro; did the second-hand thing a while back with another laptop and it only lasted a year or so. I have some questions about the MacBooks, though, so will take that to another part of the forum.
The Powerbook G4 is maxed out on memory; I added as much as I could a couple of years ago. I don't use massive programmes, but when you have Photoshop, InDesign and Safari all up and running at the same time, it takes a fair bit of RAM. I am slowly freeing up space as I go through deleting non-essential files, and that helps a lot.

When changing a page very often a message comes up on the top left of my screen. "Firefox has prevented you from accessing this site"and on the right of the screen it says Allow. When I click on the "Allow"it allows me access. It happens very often even to trusted sites

Getting below X mark for couple of users when they are using outlook.

we have 2 child domain namely us.com and emea.com.
us.com users are getting a certificate pop up on outlook , but the entry on the top is showing as server.emea.com which is not belongs to us.com
checked the certificates on us child domain cas/ht server and there are no SAN entry listed for emea.com, it was working earlier and started week back.
any help in this matter is appreciated.

Hi,
According to your description, your Outlook clients on child domain us.com come across the security alert about one name of another child domain. If I misunderstand your meaning, please feel free to let me know.
If yes, I'd like to recommend you check if there is any URL which is set with the name. Additionally, please check if there is any expired certificate.

I am no expert, but I did not see anything that I recognize as "the problem." In cases like this, diagnosing kernel panics is a step-by-step process. Start by disconnecting all peripherals and restart the Mac to see if the problem goes away. If the problem remains, continue with the next suggestion and repeat until you find the problem. Then you will know what to fix.

All this AT NEW, AT FIRST, AT END OF and AT LAST are called control break statements of Internal tables and are used to calculate the TOTALS based on sertain key fields in that internal table
FIrst to use these statements the ITAB has to be sorted by the key fields on whcih you need the SUM of the fields.
Some time you will get * when moving data from this int table to other table using these commands

Batch Data Communication (BDC) is the process of transferring data from one SAP System to another SAP system or from a non-SAP system to SAP System.
Features :
BDC is an automatic procedure.
This method is used to transfer large amount of data that is available in electronic medium.
BDC can be used primarily when installing the SAP system and when transferring data from a legacy system (external system).
BDC uses normal transaction codes to transfer data.
Types of BDC :
CLASSICAL BATCH INPUT (Session Method)
CALL TRANSACTION
BATCH INPUT METHOD:
This method is also called as CLASSICAL METHOD.
Features:
Asynchronous processing.
Synchronous Processing in database update.
Transfer data for more than one transaction.
Batch input processing log will be generated.
During processing, no transaction is started until the previous transaction has been written to the database.
CALL TRANSACTION METHOD :
This is another method to transfer data from the legacy system.
Features:
Synchronous processing. The system performs a database commit immediately before and after the CALL TRANSACTION USING statement.
Updating the database can be either synchronous or asynchronous. The program specifies the update type.
Transfer data for a single transaction.
Transfers data for a sequence of dialog screens.
No batch input processing log is generated.
Differences between Call Transaction and Sessions Method:
Session method.
1) synchronous processing.
2) can tranfer large amount of data.
3) processing is slower.
4) error log is created
5) data is not updated until session is processed.
6) generally used for back ground jobs.
7) at atime we can update to more than one screens.
Call transaction.
1) asynchronous processing
2) can transfer small amount of data
3) processing is faster.
4) errors need to be handled explicitly
5) data is updated automatically
6) for background n fore ground jobs.
7) at atime we can update to a single screen.

The scenario here is :
I have written this piece of code but its not showing desired result .I think the problem is in the AVGRANGE.
Please look into this and let me know if I am doing anything wrong.
I need to accomplish this task ,if employee E1 & E2 are in Entity1 in Grade S in forecast1 and now in forecast 2 a new employee namely E3 has come in this new forecast and whether he belongs to same entity can be identified by a new account say "F",If "F" is present for that Employee in that particular entity means he belongs to that Entity .Then I need to calculate.
"P" value for E3 for a month=Avg of "P" value for E1 & E2 in Entity1 in Grade S for that month.
I think this code is calculating for invalid combination also.

One more thing as I am testing this code for say two three employees then its working fine but as I am uisng @children(Employee) then I am getting error message
Error: 1012704 Dynamic Calc processor cannot lock more than [200] ESM blocks during the calculation, please increase CalcLockBlock setting and then retry(a small data cache setting could also cause this problem, please check the data cache size setting).
Is there any other way of doing this calculation?

Please find the logic of the calculation below:
In forecast1,here E1=employee,S1=Grade,P1=Account member
E1->S1->Entity1->P1= 100
E2->S1->Entity1->P1=200
In forecast2,E3,a new employee has come and if he/she belongs to S1 and Entity1 ,then the value should be
If (E3->F!->@currmbr(grade)->@currmbr(entity)=#Missing AND P1==#Missing)
E3->S1->Entity1->P1= (100+200)/2
I will read the document and will check my cache settings.

From a system performance point of view, you should model an object on a characteristic rather than on a navigation attribute. The reasons for this are as follows:
·        In the enhanced star schema of an InfoCube, navigation attributes lie one join further out than characteristics. This means that a query with a navigation attribute has to run an additional join (compared with a query with the same object as a characteristic) in order to arrive at the values. This is also true for ODS objects.
·        For the same reason, in some situations, restrictions for particular values in the navigation attribute (values that have been defined in the query) are not taken into account by the database optimizer when run schedules are created. This can result in inefficient run schedules, particularly if the restrictions are very selective. In most cases, you can solve this problem by indexing the navigation attribute in the corresponding master data tables (see below.)
·        If a navigation attribute is used in an aggregate, this aggregate has to be adjusted using a change run as soon as new values are loaded for the navigation attribute (when master data for the characteristic belonging to the navigation attribute is loaded.) This change run is usually one of the processes that are critical to the system performance of a production BW system. This is why, by avoiding using navigation attributes or not using navigation attributes in aggregates, you can improve the performance of this process. On the other hand, not using navigation attributes in aggregates can lead to poor query response times. The data modeler needs to find the right balance.

Could you please check this for me?

This application only runs on some computers. I can run it, but on my parents (who only have the 1.3.1_02 plug in, or something like that) the printing does not work. I keep getting exceptions when I try to print. Otherwise it works fine on mine. The exceptions (if any) are stored in a file called "Error.txt." Note: to test the printing you need to make a new listing. :-)
