Could you please fix Preview??
I've had to force quit from it roughly 30-40 times (so far) because it cannot handle a book-sized PDF. I am running Lion on a brand new MacBook Pro, and Preview should *not* have such difficulty performing the simplest task.
This is completely unacceptable.
I'm having no issues with a 933+ page pdf. Maybe your file is curropted or the image size is more for print and is taking a lot of cpu to render it all. check to see what activity monitor is showing you when you view the PDF.
if you're running out of ram that would be a sign that there is an application that your os isn't liking or the file you are trying to view is huge.

Thanks!About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time. -

After the latest update we've had to iOS 6, I was not able to use FaceTime, it kept giving me an error that I was supposed to wait for an activation code which never arrived, after that I read many solutions which included resetting the networks, which I did to try and fix my problem. What this actually did was to break my network settings an now it doesn't recognize any wifi signal unless I have the router next to me and even the it is difficult.
Now I don't have FaceTime or access to wifi with my iPhone!
Please help me!Do a factory reset .. nothing will be deleted from your backups and you will be able to get access to them again.

Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility. -

You are not communicating with Apple by posting here. Everyone here is just a fellow user and cannot fix anything.
The Find My iPad service may have indeed been accurate to the limits of the technology. Unless the iPad was a 3G unit, location is determined based on the nearest WiFi router which in your case could just happened to have been yours. The police may be the ones who need to "fix" their understanding of how the technology works and its limitations.

Try a soft reset or turn the device completely off then turn it back on again. Also you can toggle Airplane mode on for about 10 seconds and then turn it off. Sometimes that resets the radio signal inside the device.
A soft reset is basically holding onto the power button and the home button simultaneously together for about 10 seconds or until you see the screen flash and it should go completely black. Afterwards, tun the device back on like normally and see if that fixes the problem. -

Flash Player probably works on Windows Server 2000, and we're not going to intentionally break it or prevent you from installing it, but we're also not going to fix it if it breaks. In instances where it's going to crash on launch or have some other horrendous out-of-box experience, like attempting to install on a PowerPC Mac, then we'll prevent the installation outright. -

Could you please tell me why as a Brit resident in Japan therefore having a billing address that is Japanese is forced to only get service from the Japanese online store? Is there not some way of allowing me to select movies and music to buy and download from other stores. Why do am i forced to try to nread Japanese when I have selected English as my language. The price for Downloads is no different and even if it was I am happy to pay. This also applies to Movie rental which is crazy and extremely restrictive. I a supposed GLOBAL community why does Apple do this.
