Could you trade in a black ipod touch for a white one

Hello,
I bought an IPod Touch 32GB in January 2011 and I really want an Apple IPod Touch the color of white and same GB as the one I bought.
I was wondering if I could trade my black IPod Touch to the Apple Retail Store. I bought my ipod in a different store which I do not think I could exchange it.
Please give me answers ASAP please...
Thank You, very much

If you didn't buy the iPod at the Apple Store, they aren't obligated to take it back. It's like you buying a greeting card at Hallmark and then trying to return it at a CVS store. Regardless, Apple standard return policy is 14 days.

  • Does anyone know if you can swap a black iPhone 5 for a white one?

I've had the phone for about 3 months.. Decided I really don't like it in black but no one I know will swap, is it likely that the apple store would swap it? It does have a few problems, such as freezing and restarting itself a lot but I never felt it would be good enough reason for them to swap the phone for a new one!

Your iPhone is far past the return period, and that would be the only way, to return it and get the white one. So, it cannot be exchanged. If you get a replacement due to the issues, it would be the same model, including the color.

  • HT1320 Could I trade in my old ipod nano for a new one or something?

My ipod nano is from 2009. The hold button doesn't work anymore; The battery doesn't last me as long as it used to and it keeps crashing.

Try trading in your iPod Nano with a company like http://NextWorth.com They'll give you cash for your old device (even if all the buttons aren't working). Then you can use that money to offset the cost for a new iPod.

Sounds like you need a new battery.  I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store to confirm.  Apple will replace the battery for $79.  A third-party place like the folloing may be less expensive.  Google for more places.

No, you cannot exchange your iPhone for another one, and your iPhone is also out of the return time period. You can sell your iPhone, however, and put the money towards a white one.

  • How much will it cost for me to trade in my 8gb iPod touch for a 32gb, How much will it cost for me to trade in my 8gb iPod touch for a 32gb

I have an IPod touch (8GB) I'd like to trade it in for an iPod touch (32GB) but I don't know
How much that will cost. Does anyone know how much that trade will cost?

    A 32gb iPod touch retail is $299.
I haven't traded or anything, but I think you should
    at least get $100-$125
That means you have to have $200.
However, It is almost September, this is where .apple announces new iPods.
It's pretty likely that .apple moght announce a new Touch.
Comsidering that they didn't update the hardware at All last year.
Anyway, if you want one right now, you should consider Amazon.
They have both the black snd white versions of the 32gb iPod Touch for $272.
    That's almost $30 less.
    You should definotely consider Amazon.

  • Can I exchange my black iPhone 5 for a white one?

I have been seeing all the scuffed black iPhone 5s on the internet, my black iPhone is scheduled to arrive friday, can i swap it out for a white one if its unopened at an apple store??

I am sure some folks just won't want their gorgeous new iPhone 5 in a case, but based on the fact that the iPhone 5 (white or black) has an anodized aluminum back, they will be susceptible to denting.  The previous iPhone models have had a glass back (much more dent resistant).  There are numerous great cases to consider, with many already available.  I use the Otterbox Defender which incased the phone inclusive of a front piece of plastic that protects the phone but works very well with the touch panel.  There make thinner case that also afford dent and scratch protection and also more expensive cases that are also water-proof.  I have the black iPhone 5 and my Granddaughter has the white.  Both are fantastic looking, but we both quickly put them in a case.  If you plan on carrying your iPhone 5 in a pocket you may want to avoid the cases made of material that would be hard to pull out of your pocket to answer a call.

  • How can I exchange my black iPhone 5 for the white one?

My preordered black iPhone 5 came with a few minor nicks, and after much thought, I'd prefer the white one. How do I go about exchanging it, and is there any fee involved?

Im also thinking about switching it for the white one. I got my black replacement and its flawless but the white one is looking more appealing to me. I have VZW so I would have to go through customer service which they make you buy the phone and they refund you when they receive the other one.

  • Could you trade in your older iPod for a newer version?

Or receive credit towards a newer one?

Well just to put my opinion on here as I have 2 iPod touches plus a classic iPod with 80 GB but 10% discount is all? Well, that stinks.
If the device still has a useful life left in it, sell it as second hand, which will probably raise more money for you than a 10% discount. That advice has already been offered here. Otherwise, Apple will give you a 10% discount on the price of a new iPod if you give them the old iPod which they will then recycle.
    Recycling usually involves breaking up the device and;
destroying the components inside in a way that does not harm the environment.
re-using the components or materials, which will reduce the use of new materials. This is friendlier to the environment than putting something into landfill.
The alternative to recycling is that the device is thrown into the general rubbish, which ends up in landfill. Landfill is a wasteful use of precious land (particularly in cities) and more importantly, the materials in those devices can then contaminate the landfill and surrounding areas, not to mention water courses and rivers.
Landfill costs money, to operate and that money comes (in most societies) from property taxes or local sales tax. It also costs money to recycle. Have you given any thought to how much it costs to have an iPod recycled? Since you haven't paid for it to be recycled, and Apple give you a small amount of money for a device so that they can recycle it, who do you think pays for the recycling?

  • How do you get songs on an Ipod touch from your previous one?

My Ipod touch recently had a glitch that completely messed it up. As a result, I went to get another one. Typically, when we sync our ipods to the computer, everything that you've changed on the ipod is saved onto the computer as well. However, I had purchased about 15-20 songs on my Ipod touch and added about 6 or 7 new apps before it started to mess up on me, but I never had the chance to sync it in to the computer. So I'm wondering if there is a way for me to reclaim the songs that I've purchased because--well, because I've purchased them and I really do not want to pay for them again. If anyone has a legit answer, I'd really appreciate it if you posted a response!
    Thank you! =]

Here's a short and simple on the legit way since I actually had this happen to me as well.
Open iTunes, and go to the store. At the top right corner should be your iTunes login name (or "Log In"). Either way, click it and it will ask you to log in.
Once you log in (or re login), you should be brought to your account. Somewhere in the middle is an option to view purchase history. Click that.
Once it's open, it should pull up all your purchases (grouped somehow...I think by day?). Find the purchases you're looking for. And click the arrow to pull up the order (for multiple orders, you're going to do this a couple times).
The order should pull up with ALL purchases associated with that order. At the bottom is a button to report a problem.
When you click it, all items should now show a link that says "Report a Problem". For each item, click the link.
A new page will display with a drop down menu and a comments box. Pick the option "I didn't Receive this Song" and note that it was purchased with an iPod Touch that was unable to transfer to back to iTunes. Submit, and repeat for all SONGS.
For all your apps, find the apps you need to download, and iTunes will automatically allow free redownloads, which means you DON'T need to report a problem. When you finished reporting the problem, check your email box because you'll be spammed by the Apple Auto-Responses that an Apple Associate will take care of the problem. In several hours (or overnight), you'll receive a response from said Apple Associate (it will say the same thing all the time, practically automated) apologizing for you not receiving the songs. They will credit your account and you can "repurchase" that song (since you will technically receive a "gift card" on your account of 1.29 per song). That should solve your problem.

  • My question last time didn't get answered. Can I send in my iPod touch for a new one if I have a two year warranty?

My iPod touch 5th gen isn't charging, when I plug in my charger I've always used. It's an apple product and a message pops up saying "This accessory may not be supported" The charger isn't the problem because my mom used her iPhone with my charger and her phone charges fine with it. For Christmas, I got a portable charger and I used it the day after Christmas for a little bit and it worked, but then 20 minutes later my brother wanted to use it. So I let him use it. Then I went to go use my normal charger instead and when I plugged it in that message popped up. It's been like this sense the day after Christmas and the only way it charges is right before I swipe right to turn my iPod all the way off I plug my charger in real fast before the message can pop up. I've tried resetting my iPod, cleaning out the area it charges, and few other things. I've also tried getting help from people that work with technology at some stores. They all told me I had to contact Apple Support Communities. I'm trying to contact you guys, but last time I did it didn't solve my problem. I really want to get an answer to be able to fix it or have it replaced. I'm 13 and saved all my money on my own to get the iPod have. It took me a long time to save and I really don't it to be broken and not be able to get it replaced. Someone please help my resolve this.

You late question did get answered:on the 18th of this month. Sounds like you did not like the answers. Starting a new post without mentioning yur first post wastes people time
