Hi,
Could anyone tell me something about the possible reason of this exception? Is
there any meaningful information in the "id" which can describe what caused this
exception?

I've done the steps but the problem still persists. I don't know if I had this before, but now both machines can't see each other.

production and test systems. We use WLS RMI clients connected to WLS 4.5.1
servers w/ service pack 10. I understand that there is a heartbeat between
the client JVM and the server JVM. Is there any documentation that explains
how this actually works. For example, how often does the client send its
heartbeat. Is it configurable? What could cause it to stop or drop the
connection. We are using straight T3 (no T3S or HTTP).

Integration with JMS Weblogic server, Couldn't connect to any host

I am doing XI to JMS integration(weblogic JMS server) ,have created a communication channel of type JMS and gave the following parameters.
Transport Protocal : Access JMS Provider with JNDI
Message protocal : JMS 1.X
JNDI Lookup name with
queueconnectionfactory :MyJMSConnectionFactory
JNDI Lookup name with JMS Queue : MyJMSQueue
Name of JNDI initial context factory : weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/
all these parameters are working fine when used in a Client java program by which i am able to put and retrive message from Weblogic JMS server queue.
But the same is not working in XI adapter ,
I am getting the following error in adapter monitoring
Zsrl_JMS_Reciever Receiver channel. Details: Couldn't connect to any host
I guess the problem is with JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/
Is the format "http://host:port" correct for weblogic server,
are the JMS port and JNDI port same or different .
I have deployed the required drivers "wlclient.jar" in XI server .

weblogic works on the Tenga3 protocol and hence the URL to connect to the JNDI provider of weblogic is
t3://host:port
At least in case of Weblogic you connect to your J2EE resources using your JNDI registry so the port would be the same.

Getting weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException while posting request to foreign Q

There are two application deployed on 2 different weblogic server .Say application A(EJB) is deployed on weblogic 9 and Application B (Oracle service Bus) is runing on Weblogic 10.3.
Application A sends request to a queue that is on applcation B server. Weblogic (app A) has foreign JMS server that exports the queue of app B. Configuration at Application A is :

"The root cause of the PGE in this instance was missing Principle classes in the remote JVM. An authenticated subject's (has our custom principles) security context is propagated to the remote JVM which throws a ClassNotFoundException, this is wrapped in the PGE."

Datasource connection in Weblogic server using JDeveloper

Hi,
I am using JDeveloper 11g Release 2 (11.1.2.1.0) and WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.5.0.
We have a project (ant build.xml) with some Application Modules.
In JDeveloper we did the following to create a connection to datasource in the WebLogic:
1- Created an Application Server Connection (called ActivityModuleConnection) testing this gives success so we have connection to WebLogic.
2- Created a database connection (called ActivityModuleCore) and test goes well here as well.
3- In WebLogic Server created a datasource (called jdbc/ActivityModuleCordeDS).
And here are the bc4j.xcfg file that we have:

Unable to Connect to WebLogic Server 7.0 Win 2000

I have successfully installed weblogic 7.0 evaluation version on win 2000
and Iam just tryung to start weblogic server 7.0 by
Programs->BEA Weblogic Platform 7.0 --> Weblogic Server 7.0 --> Weblogic Builder
and when i try to connect to server through Weblogic Builder screen with default paramaters
such as..

I also have the same version of WLS and run on win200 prof .... well i installed from the same ... ya uninstall the server ... do it again .... then on completion
Start --> BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 --->Domain Configuration Wizard then a new window opens with the message Choose Domain Type and Name ---> select the template WLS Domain name=mydomain -->Next --->SingleServer -->Next --><specify directory for mydomain>-->next-->server name etc -->next and finally do finish ....
i hope this will solve yr problem else keep posting and i will try to help ya by installing the same in a new m/c

between WLS and an external client. The SQLServer issue is separate. Whose JDBC driver
are you using? The SQLServer delete problem is internal to the DBMS and certainly a function of the
size of the table. How are you doing the update? Is it via a PreparedStatement? Please show it
to me.

Weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException: No message was received for: '240' seconds with WLS 7.0

I've got an EJB application which, at one stage, has to go off and import a lot
of data from another external application. A java client is triggering this execution.
I've updated the Transaction timeout setting and Stuck Thread timeout setting
on the server. But the client is still getting a weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException.
I've found a previous message which talks about updating either the weblogic.system.periodLength
property on the server or the weblogic.system.idlePeriodsUntilTimeout on the client.
However, the thread was referring to older versions of WLS (5 & 6). Is this
still a valid approach for WLS 7.0? I couldn't find the weblogic.properties file
on the server, and if I try to use the client system property, my client doesn't
start.
If anyone has any guidance on this, I would be very grateful.

Hello Ed,
It appears that the config.dtd is bundled in the weblogic.jar archive. I don't
believe that the exact location of the DTD/Schema is specified at the top of the
config.xml file. I hope that you are able to figure out how to solve your problem.
Perhaps you could investigate the issue further with a BEA Engineer.

Try adding the -classic parameter along with the other parameters in

The server was killed completely.
Infact, 160.96.179.40 is the IP Address of our Application Server (WebLogic Server
is runnning at port 7001).
That is the last statement.
We observed this error few times before in our log file, but it
didnot bring down the server.
Would U mind explaining me what exactly does that error mean?

WLS 9.2 - weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException

Hello, I am currently dealing with a particularly annoying problem for which I have already raised a support case with BEA.
Our application makes calls to a thired party security application via EJBs provided by the thired party.
The thired party application registers and RMI stub on the WLS JNDI tree and the thired party EJBs use this stub to make calls to the security application.
We have a simple test harness that Remotely looks up the different EJBs and calls methods on them. This works for the limited set of methods that we test.
However at specific points in the applications usage we run into:

The thired party server is running and is reachable. It seems the exception may be masking some other problem.

I have asked our application team to try reducing the number of principles that can be assigned to the user to see if this has any effect on the problem. I have already tried, among others, incleasing the maximum message size for all protocols and ensureing and security jar files before the weblogic.jar file but so far I have had no luck. The root cause of the PGE in this instance was missing Principle classes in the remote JVM. An authenticated subject's (has our custom principles) security context is propagated to the remote JVM which throws a ClassNotFoundException, this is wrapped in the PGE.

Windows 8.1 - Windows Couldn't connect to the System Event Notification Service service

I have an issue that has been bothering me for a while on new 8.1 computers. Standard users are not able to log into the computer on the first try consistently. They receive the error message: Group Policy client service failed the sign-in access is
denied. They are stuck at the logon screen.
If an administrator logs in (local or domain), they can log in but get a black desktop with two error messages. The first is Location is Not available - C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. The second error message is a popup
balloon. It states "Failed to Connect to a Windows service. Windows couldn't connect to the System Event Notification Service service."
When a standard user attempts to log in, event viewer records three warnings. They are listed in order from oldest to newest
The winlogon notification subscriber <Profiles> was unavailable to handle a critical notification event. -Logged 9:14:44
The winlogon notification subscriber <GPClient> failed a critical notification event. - Logged 9:14:44

After a reboot, users still have the issue. I noticed that the user profile services and system event notification service are not running though their startup type is automatic. They start after a minute or two.

Based on your description ,I assume it is a domain environment .First of all ,I would suggest you to try to update all the machine .

Do you mean all the Windows 8.1 machine share the same symptom or just a specific one ?Did the machine work correctly before ?When did the issue start to occur ?Have you installed any third party software before ?Can we operate the machine when we login with
an administrator account ?
If the issue occurred with the specific machine :
"The first is Location is Not available - C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable."
Please try the following suggestions if we can operate the machine when we login with the administrator account :
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile and verify if it has the Desktop folder there.If the folder doesn`t exit, we can copy from C:\users\Default\Desktop location(This folder is hidden by default).
We also can try the following suggestions to have a troubleshoot :
1.Run "sfc /scannow"or "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" to check the health of the system files.
2.Perform a full scan with an antivirus software.
3."They start after a minute or two."
I suspect there is a third party service confilct here. Please perform a clean boot to verify whether there is a third party conflict here .

If the issue occurred with multiple machines in the domian ,I would suggest you to check whether you have configured any logon scripts and logon group policy .We can remove the machine from the domain to have a troubleshoot .
If the issue occurred recently ,we can perform a system restore to recover the machine to a previous normal point.

Boot camp with xp -- couldn't connect to the internet when installed

I need to run xp for my job because the software they use only works with windows. So I tried installing the copy of XY I have, XP Professional, last night. I used the same XP disk for my first mac a few years ago, a 24" iMac with Leopard. I am now trying this on my MB pro with snow leopard. It has the same processor as my first mac (a duo-core, I bought a refurbished mb pro).
Everything went fine until I tried to access the Internet to get any updates and download the software needed. I was not able to connect to the Internet at all. I tried setting it up, etc, but nothing worked. It could not connect, even though there seemed to be an icon that sad the signal was there (the two little computer monitors in the lower right of the taskbar)
I called my ISP to see of there was anyone on that end who might know what was going on, but nothing. He told me that my version of Internet Explorer was old and I neede the newest one (this copy of XP was from 2002 and the original version was IE 6), at which point I asked him how I was supposed to do that when I couldn't connect to the net. Anyway, he gave me the number for some company called plumchoice, and they couldn't help me because I was using boot camp, and I was told that they don't support that platform. I thought that was nonsense, given that I was running windows, not OSX and it worked before.
When I did this a few years ago it worked fine -- I could get on the net with no problem, and even then I think that there was a new version of IE that I had to upgrade to, yet I could access the Internet fine. I thougt I needed to download some things from the internet to complete the installation (from the window that came up when you start boot camp assistant) but it couldn't find anything, so I chose the second option that says I have the necessary disks that came with the computer.
So does anyone know what may be going on? I would also like to mention that I didn't yet go ahead and install the OS X drivers when I tried this, but I didn't think thay would make any difference -- I thought that they were just for the keyboard and volume controls, etc. If I need to do that, then I feel like a real idiot and you all deserve to laugh at me.
I'm not sure which disk that came with the machine is the one I'm supposed to use, so can anyone tell me that as well? It's been a while since I did this (2008). I should be able to use this OS (and I only need it to download some software and work within it for this job).

You need to install the drivers, especially the ones for your network hardware.
