After "upgrading" to new firefox none of my bookmarks are in new bookmarks help topics tell me how to import from another browser but not from previous version of firefox. Another problem is my anti virus ( most up to date) is apparently not compatible with 4.0 liked the old firefox would never have "upgraded" had I known my anti virus wouldn't work. Can I get old version backCheck with Kaspersky as to what versions of Firefox their programs are compatible with. It is up to Kaspersky to keep their stuff up to date as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox. And if they are unwilling or incapable of doing it, they should inform their customers of such and maybe refund their customers instead of stringing them along.

Receiving a call from saved number but not showing the name
I have problem with my contacts, after upgrading the IOS to IOS 5.0 I found this issue:
I have some of the contacts which their numbers saved on the phone book and when they call me their name doesn't show and it shows only the number. I tries to make changes such as removing or adding the country code and still no change.
It is not me only because I asked some of my friends and they said they have the same isuue since they upgraded the IOS into IOS 5.0.
Note: I have upgraded the IOS today to IOS 5.0.1 and the same issue and no change.

I'm seeing the same and I agree, it's very annoying. You can at least get around it in both situations by turning on Mirroring from the Airplay menu (after double-tapping the Home button). Hopefully the iPlayer app will be updated soon to fix this. I'm assuming it's an oversight at the moment.

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:

Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from

After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else. -
Loop plays in the loop browser but not on the track
Hi,
I've been having this problem for a while and reinstalling the whole program doesn't help either.
I am running Logic Pro 8.02 and when I click on the loop such as "RnB beat 01" in the loop browser, it plays fine but when I drag it into the track I get a message saying "EXS24 instrument “Pop Kit.exs”: Audio file “TTHI11X04.aif” not found!".
Does anyone know what's going on here?
Why would a file be missing if it can play it in the browser???
This happens with several other loops also.
Some AIF files and some Caf files.

Message was edited by: Jisung ChoiThis is because it is a green loop, which when dragged to a Software Instrument track, will load an EXS instrument. To play it as audio, drag it to an Audio track.
To rectify the missing sample from the EXS kit, reindex Spotlight for the disk the sample is supposed to be on (probably your startup disk.
To reindex a disk:
Open Apple menu > System Preferences > Spotlight
Click Privacy tab
Drag disk to list. Wait 4 seconds. Now hit the -(minus) button to remove the disk from the privacy list. Reindexing will start within about 20-30 seconds, and will take 10-30 minutes, depending on what's on the disk.
After that, the sample will probably load. If not, reinstall "core" Logic. -

I am trying to create my Apple ID, but not receiving the verification link from Apple,. I get the email but NOT the link,. I have triple checked my email address and all Apple account info, all of which are correct. Any suggestions?
Where are you trying to create it?
Go to appleid.apple.com and create it there. Type the country name in the space and a dropdown should appear. Nigeria is clearly available there. -
backup from an earlier backup not on the list? I backed up at 19.30 but do not appear to find this backup
do you have a more recent backup and that's what it's saying you can restore from? it's possible that backup overwrote your previous one. in itunes on the computer go to edit > preferences > devices, and see what backups you have there

Hi, I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro but cant get the mirroring function to work with Apple TV. I've got the most recent Software 10.7.5 but cant see the mirroring icon or turn this on. I'm able to mirror from my Ipad but not my Mac, any thoughts?

AirPlay Mirroring is supported on your Mac, but it needs OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
You have two possibilities:
1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade to this OS X. Then, you will find the AirPlay Mirroring icon at the top right of the display, on the menu bar, or on System Preferences > Displays.
2. Keep OS X Lion and use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options work properly, but I recommend AirPlay Mirroring as it doesn't need a third-party program -
When syncing my iTunes to my iPad from the laptop, I get a list of missing songs; they are in the library, but not in the music folder on my HD. In particular, I uploaded 3 CDs at the same time, all are in my library, and all synced to the iPad - but the music from two of them are missing from the music folder. Questions are (a) where might they have gone? and (b) is there a way of "reverse loading" them back to my hard drive from the iPad? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -

If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

CS 4 Dynamic Link to Encore doesn't work most of the time. Encore stops operating after opening and periodically Premier Pro stops working. I'm told that there has been a problem with CS4 when using Dynamic Link to go to Encore and build CD's. Is there a way around this? Is there a patch to correct it?

What problem does Encore have with DL?
If DL is not working properly for you the way around this is to export from Premiere to either mpeg2-dvd for DVD or BluRay H.264 for BD-disks and import the files in Encore.
