Couldn't synchronize music

I couldn't synchronize my music from my computer to my iPhone 5 IOS 7.1.2. It stopped at step 2, which is backing up iPhone for more than 6 hours. I have some important recordings in my phone and I can't take it out now! Please help me!!

Hello,
First things first...get a full copy off of that SD card to your PC while you have it visible there...you never know!!
Next, when you have the card in the BB, what exactly displays on the BB. Anything at all for the card? Does it not recognize it at all? Can you format it?
Do you have another card to try? Especially if you can obtain a card that is working perfectly in another BB, that would be a good test.
Likewise, using your card in another BB would be an equally good test.
All of this will hopefully root out the problem...and if it's the actual card reader on your BB, then you may have a hardware problem requiring evaluation by a qualified hardware technician.
Good luck!

  • Installing the latest update on my iPad - error message saying the iPad couldn't synchronize because of an internal error, and then - error message (OxE8004017) when trying to save, and then (2003) when trying to restore - nothing works anymore

    Installing the latest update on my iPad - error message saying the iPad couldn't synchronize because of an internal error, and then - error message (OxE8004017) when trying to save, and then (2003) when trying to restore - nothing works anymore - On my iPad the only thing I see is a connector cord to iTunes and nothing else.
    What can I do  ???

    Same issue for me, recently I started having issues with apps no longer being able to access my Facebook account. But the iPad Facebook account settings will not accept my password, even though the Facebook app and Safari can access my account fine. The only significant events I recall that have occurred that may have triggered this have been that via my Facebook account I killed off a lot of so called authorised connections and I changed my user name, but still have the same email address and password.
    I have tried just about every solution put forward on the net, short of a factory restore, back to new, on my iPad.
    I have also; deleted my iCloud account, deleted the Facebook app and account, deleted Safari data.
    One would think that after I have deleted my account from the iPad that it would ask for both username/email address and password, but it only asks for password, so the username is still stored somewhere that I am unable to delete.
    I also see that no one seems to have been able to get an answer from Apple. So I'm guessing they have absolutely no idea themselves.
    I am hesitant to put my username on Facebook back to what it was as Facebook only give you a few chances to change your username, then you are locked.
    I have iOS 7.1.1 installed.
    I did have a lot of respect for Apple and their devices as they just worked, but they are becoming tarnished by ignoring what seems to be a growing issue.

    I  just updated my iphone to ios 7 and updated itunes to 11.1.  Yesterday I  noticed I couldn't move music from my library to my iphone.  Today I  noticed that most of the music on my iphone is gone.  What do I do?

    I don't see how the AAC Version thing really applies here - the issue seems to be with
    the time it takes for "Preparing to Update" to run when adding new songs and
    the fact that a bunch of songs can get temporarily deleted from your phone, then need to be recopied over.
    I should also add that I'm using iTunes for Mac (OS 10.6).
    And Linda0410, if you view your phone's library in iTunes on your computer while it's copying, you should be able to see a bunch of grayed out songs, and there will be a little indicator on the left hand side of each song that's currently being copied.

  • How to synchronize music from my iphone to iTunes on my PC?

    How to synchronize music from my iphone4 to iTunes on my PC?
    I'm scared of deleting all data from my iphone (music and apps) as my mediathek at iTunes is empty right now. I downloaded all my music directly on my iphone, but now would like to copy it on my PC to / iTunes. But I'm not able to find the option in iTunes "synchronise iphone to iTunes" -  it is always the other way round (from iTunes/PC to iphone).
    Thanks for helping me out!

    If all the music on your iPhone is from the iTunes Store, you have nothing to worry about. You can get it onto your PC in two ways:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    Otherwise, you will need to use a third-party application such as Senuti:
    http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/
    I mention Senuti specifically because it is popular. There are many other similar applications, some of which work just as well and are even free.

  • FileRealm couldn't synchronize while not using FileRealm

    I got an exception while programmaticaly adding users to WLS's groups, which says:
    "FileRealm couldn't synchronize - using old values". This is funny as we do use
    RDBMS realm and the only user we have in FileRealm is system (the whole FileRealm
    is as created by installation). Users/groups are not created in file realm, and
    this exception happens occasionaly - not every time a user is added. Also list
    of groupos is fixed and not modified via the app -- we use WLS's groups as roles.
    Anybody have an idea why?

    Hi,
    We are almost there with the following set of code changes:
    SAXBuilder saxBuilder=new SAXBuilder("org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser");
              org.jdom.Document  doc = saxBuilder.build(xhtmlDocument);
              XPath path = XPath.newInstance("/test:html/test:body/test:div/test:table[2]/test:tr/test:td/test:table/test:tr/test:td/test:div/test:table/test:tr[2]//test:td[@class='even']");
              path.addNamespace("test", "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml");
              java.util.List mainTable = (java.util.List) (path.selectNodes(doc));
              Iterator itr = mainTable.iterator();
              while (itr.hasNext())
                  System.out.println(itr.next());
    _Output:_
    [Element: <td [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>]
    [Element: <td [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>]
    [Element: <td [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>]
    [Element: <td [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>]
    [Element: <td [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>]
    [Element: <td [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>]This XPath search has correctly found the 6 <td> below:
    <tr class="smallnarrow">
        <td class="even" width="10" align="left" />
        <td class="even" style="vertical-align: middle;">Smith</td>
        <td class="even" style="vertical-align: middle;">John </td>
        <td class="even" style="vertical-align: middle;">02/05/1976</td>
        <td class="even" align="right" style="vertical-align: middle;">Male</td>
        <td class="even" width="10" style="vertical-align: middle;"> </td>
    </tr>However, I wanted the value (content) of these <td>s and not the element themselves.
    With your persistent suggestions, we will nail this elusive puzzle together.
    Many thanks again,
    Jack
    P.S. Please ignore my earlier response wrt not able to test out your suggestion.

  • Cannot synchronize music with iPad Mini

    Hi, I've an iPadMini with the latest version 6.0.2, a macbookpro with mac os x 10.8.2 and iTunes 11.0.1 (12), but I can't synchronize my music with it, everything is ok with my iphone 4s and the options are the same for both devices! I try everything! please help me!

    I had same problem. I tried the back-up and restore option and it worked a charm.
    Not sure why I had the problem in the first place but that was a relatively quick and easy fix :-)
    Just do the Factory restore...
    Works like magic!

  • Synchronize music playlist ?

    Why can't i synchronize my music playlist in itunes with ipod touch, whereas the music file had already copied?

    Again I don't know what the automator script does.  iTunes won't delete it from its library if you delete the file.  It will just label it as a broken link (an item that is in iTunes library but it can no longer find the media file).  There are scripts that delete broken links but sometimes a link is broken and it shouldn't be so you don't want something automatically deleting it if it should be noticed and repaired.
    What you're doing is really not how iTunes was written to operate. You can do it if you take over media organization yourself but you have to be pretty organized or you end up with media all over the place.  iTunes in its default mode really doesn't like it if you move things about and won't notice deletions until you next start it or try to play the file, and then it will only respond with a broken link sign ("!").

  • Iphoto 9.1.3 – couldn't choose music for a slideshow

    Could somebody help me? Tried to put music to slideshows – but no reaction from the pulldown menu „Quelle“

    Make a temporary, duplicate copy of the library and try the three fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    1 - delete  the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
    2 - delete iPhoto's cache files that are located in your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
    3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
    NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
    Fix #2
    Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library.
    Select the options identified in the screenshot.
    Fix #3
    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
    Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
    In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • HT1719 Hi I'm unable to synchronize music from library to ipod - no music displayed on ipos

    Hi
    I have downloaded CDs to my library, which were showing on my Ipod.  I then went on to download some a new CD which synchronized, but then didn't show up on the Ipod and deleted all the first albums downloaded - therefore no music on the ipad whatsoever, but the original music is still in the library.  Can someone please help!

  • My itunes won't synchronize music coming from CDs I didn't buy on iTunes on my iphone. Solutions???

    I never had problems before putting music on my iphone from a CD I import on my itunes. But now it won't work for 3 different CDs. The songs are playing on my Mac but are not in my iphone. They are grey with a little grey dotted circle when I go see in music "On this iPhone". I need help! I tried everything!

    Did the iTunes ever recognize the iPhone 6 before?

  • Set max to music synchronization

    Hi,
    I let iTunes synchronize music to my iPhone, currently using 'automatically fill free space', because I don't want to select my music manually (it's way to much to fit it all to one iphone). Works like a charm but I would like to set a maximum to the amount of songs or amount of disc space used for music. This would help me to help keep enough room for installing apps without having to free up space all the time.
    Anyone know if this is possible?
    Thanks!

    Unless you are actually downloading the songs manually, or by playing them, they are not on the devices (when you view the songs in a list do they have a cloud icon? If so, those are not downloaded).
    There is no limiting cionfiguration other than the available space. You can choose to not show items in the cloud, however (Settings app > Music > Show All Music). With this turned OFF, only songs actually downloaded will  show up in the Music app; this is not the case with most third party music apps, however.

  • Can't add music to iphone

    Help! I have a 3G iPhone. I have some music on it, but I can't add any more. I have it set up to manually manage music and ring tones. Any suggestions? I'm using a MacBook Pro and have the latest software on all devices.

    Roamingnome just helped me find an obvious solution... that I was not aware of.
    The "Manage music manually" box is on the 'Summary' page of your Iphone in Itunes, NOT under the "Music" tab.
    If that sounds completely condescending, I don't mean it to be. I spent two hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get music on my Iphone until I looked at the "Summary" page. I would have expected a button like that to be under the Music tab.
    I'm interested to know if you ever got it worked out some other way. Let me know.

  • After updating to iOS 7, I can't add music to my 4S.

    I had no problems upgrading to iOS 7 yesterday, but afterwards I couldn't add music to my phone. I add everything manually, and tried to add an album last night, but when I dragged the album over to my phone, it just blinked twice and then the album sat on my iPhone unsynced. Then today, after plugging my phone in to my computer, iTunes sat on "Waiting for changes to be applied." I figured this is what was keeping my music from syncing onto my phone, so I looked up some solutions (none worked) and the only thing that happened was all of my music on my phone got deleted for whatever reason.
    I still can't add music and this is what happens every time I try to add any song to my phone:
    I really don't want to have to restore my phone to factory default, although I'm thinking that is what I'm gonna have to do.

    I've spent the last two hours trying to get some new mp3's onto my iPhone 4 from iTunes!
    It just won't work no matter what I try!
    I pay for Match but it's pot luck whether or not it decides to sync your music between devices in a timely manner. Normally it takes a few hours before my song finally shows up on my iPhone!
    That's absolutely no good!!
    I make music and constantly have fresh, new tunes that I need to put on my iPhone to listen to in my car, on a walk, in the shower, on a stereo system, etc, etc.
    I don't want to be waiting a random number of hours before I can hear my tunes!!
    I turned off Match so I could add tunes to my iPhone manually, but every time I drag any songs over to my phone, iTunes says "preparing to update" and then gives up after a few minutes, having tranferred absolutely nothing over to my iPhone!!
    I'm seriously pulling my hair out here!!
    It's so pathetic that I can't help but laugh every time Apple's products fail with such simple, basic tasks. It's ridiculous and farcical. A joke.
    Help!

  • Why can't I play music from the cloud on my laptop?

    So I recently uploaded all my music in the iCloud from my PC Desktop computer in hopes that I could play this music remotely from my laptop. Unfortunatly, it's saying I can't within 40 days when I turn on iMatch. So what's the problem? Do I need to wait 40 days in order to play music in the cloud on other devices? Or is it saying I can never play music from other computers even if I sign in with my own Apple ID?

    I know you're saying that, but I can't think of a reason why you would be getting a warning that you couldn't play music within 40 days of turning on iTunes Match unless you changed IDs.  This article explains this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627.
    If you feel you are getting this in error, try contacting iTunes store support and ask them what's going on, by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click iTunes>iTunes Store>Other iTunes Store Topics>The topic is not listed.
