Country code unlocked but still no network coverag...

I bought T-Mobile in Chicago USA , but now I want to use my mobile in INDIA.I had called the T-Mobile customer care today. They gave me the unlock code for my mobile nokia 5300.I entered the unlock code and it said " sim was not restricted " instead of "sim 'is' not restricted".
Does this mean that my mobile was already unlocked. I remember I tried it once in USA also after asking T-Mobile customer care, but still it is showing no network coverage??
Please suggest what shall I do so that I get network coverage in INDIA.Is there any setting changes I need to do in my mobile??

I had same problem. I bought nokia 5300 T mobile from malysia and now I want to use it in Bangladesh.......But I did not get any kind of network...I u can sloved your problem pls let me know... is my ID.

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?
Most likely your iPhone was not properly unlocked and is now
relocked to AT&T. You must work with AT&T to get it unlocked.
Depending on what method was used to unlock the iPhone previously,
a legitimate unlock from AT&T may not complete successfully.

Workitem unlocked but still locked

Hello Gurus ,
I have this strange situation. I have a PR whose service entry sheet's workflow overview says that the workitem is unbloked by the system. But still the workitem was found in lock state. As the user is not able to release the SES.
Please if you could explain this situation to me that would be a gr8 help.

My iphone 3gs is locked and after paying it is unlock from vodafone UK, but showing no service and searching network. Also after connecting itunes follwing message reflects
There is no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate.
Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone.

Did you get an email from vodafone confirming that the phone is unlocked? Did you put a SIM card in the phone? Did you complete the unlock process as detailed in the email? Did you restore your phone as new?

Xserve unlocked but still not recognizing usb peripherals

I have an Xserve which does not recognize any usb attached peripherals, even though it is unlocked from the front panel.
In addition the PC monitor is also not recognizing it, and get no video output on it.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue? How to further diagnose/resolve this problem?

Sounds like it's very badly damaged, and it may be too much to expect the data to still be intact. However, you can try repairing it with a more powerful utility, like [DiskWarrior|http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/index.html] or [TechTool Pro|http://www.micromat.com>. If neither of those can fix it, then your only options will be using a data recovery tool, such as [Data Rescue|http://www.prosofteng.com> or [File Salvage|http://subrosasoft.com/OSXSoftware/index.php?mainpage=product_info&productsid=1], or paying an expensive data recovery service to disassemble the drive and recover what they can.
Of course, this would all have been avoided if you had backups of your data. In the future, you must have a minimum of three copies of any data you don't want to lose.

Creative cloud edu redemption code activated, but still using trail version and says free membership?

I have activated a redemption code provided to me by my school at creative.adobe.com/educard, yet when I downloaded CC and log in it still says I am in trail version and when I log into my account it says free membership? I have tried to redeem the code once again and it says it has already been activated.
I've taken these steps:

Limit Internet but still access network

I just purchased airport extreme base and am trying to configure my network. I have a hard drive connected via usb. My goal is to have my eMac and my Mac Mini access both Internet and my network hard drive, wired and wireless respectively. Also a laptop and PC both running XP SP2 to access network hard drive but NOT internet, wirelessly.
Is it possible to disable Internet for the PC's on the airport side through the airport utility?

I'm not sure how to do it with the AirPort Extreme configuration, but you could do it by configuring the PCs with appropriate LAN static IP addresses without including DNS server entries.

Vendor is not extended to a Co Code but still able to create a PO

Hi Guys
I got an issue here. A Vendor "X "is not extended to a Company code 'Y" but still able to create a PO without any error or warning message. ( Normally system wont allow and throws a error message saying Vendor not extended to a Company Code) But its not happening here!!
Do we need to maintain any configuration so that SAP wont allow to use a vendor which is not extended to a particular Company Code. Or is it a Master Data Issue?

Wlc 5508 multiple country codes + mesh ap

Hello,
Currently my solution consist of two 5508 controllers and several non-mesh and few mesh AP (2600) running in flexconnect mode in one single site in europe.
Everything is going fine.
However there is going to be a new site in Canada.
I found some documentation saying that multiple country code is not available for mesh ap. Mesh ap are not going to join controller if multiple country code configured . but all this documentation is regarding version 7.2 and older.
Im running version 7.4.100.0 and on configuration guide I don't find anything related to that.
Am I going to have problems with this as well?
If yes, what is the recommendation solution for this situation?

They do support multiple country code, but with regulations, the WLC will use the common channels and power for each of the countries you have defined. Now this will never change so its still best to have separate WLC per country if possible. Especially with mesh since the backhaul is on the 5ghz, this is really your limitation is you have AP's in a country where there is no allowed 5ghz or a minimum number of allowed channels.

My iPhone 5 has lost network coverage. Wifi is still ok just can't receive calls or text messages (iMessages are ok though? ). I've re set network settings but that hasn't helped.

I need to have a Sprint BB Style 9670 unlocked & Mobile Country code to use on Indian CDMA networks. It doesn't have a SIM card. Anyone have this problem or can point me to the proper way to unlock it? I chatted with Sprint but they don't want to do anything

Retrieving the Cell Site Id, Mobile Network Code, Mobile Country Code

Hi,
I am using CLLocationManager to retrieve the latitude/longitude of a place.Its working fine.I can also find the distance travelled between the old location and the new location.
But I need to get the information about the Cell Site Id, Mobile Network Code, and Mobile Country Code .
Is there any API in the SDK to retrieve them ?or any other work around that will fetch these values?
Any suggestion or help will be appreciated.

I recently moved from the US to Sweden and all my contacts are saved with their international country code prefixes. I keep getting text message errors when I send a text, but the contact info is stored correctly for each. How can I fix this?

I receive an error message that adds the country code again. I tried it with no country code and the area code included but I still receive an error message. It only does it sometimes and not to all Sweden contacts. There is no obvious reason why it does it to some but not others. Does any know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thank you!

Only other thing I can suggest is to reset your phone. This won't touch any data or settings:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
