Country Template Mexico

Hi,
Can you tell me the differences between the two standard country templates from Mexico, that SAP supports: MX01 and MX03?

I am just trying to think about potential workarounds...
1. You got the field Service Provider at the level of expense line item, so it can cover different vendors (even though there is no system link with a real vendor)
2. If by chance you do not use Regions within country, you can set up 2 regions (also at expense item level).
Next you make these fields mandatory and can build queries.

Country template (DE01 and DE02)

Hi All,
My client wants to create a new Company Code in Germany. So we are planning to copy from Country Template DE. But I am finding two template (DE01 and DE02) in ECC 6. Which template i have to copy for the new company code.
Please help me for the above issue.

Hi Vinu,
within transaction EC01 you can create a new company code by copying another company code. For transporting an existing company code to another client you can use the same transaction with function 'Transport'. All the depending tables will be transported and can be viewed via 'Extras' -> 'Technical Logs' -> Results.
For more information regarding the transport and copy functionalities please have a look at the Application Help -> 'Online Manual'.
Regarding the country specific settings please read the instructions of the SAP Note 63805 and its related notes and proceed as described.

Travel Mexico template (32)

Hi Travel experts with Mexico background,
Iu2019m not sure if you could help us on the travel expense country template for Mexico. We identified two gaps where hope to get some more insides from you.
This question ralates to travel expense and not planning.
1) According to our tax department within the company it is legally required to store for each expense item you declare in you expense declaration the vendor information as long it is a trip with in the country (Mexico). This vendor information contains as well the RFC (it is the tax ID belonging to this vendor) it is equal to our German u201CSteuernummeru201D. Actually we canu2019t find any information about this if the Mexico version has this capability. (My feeling is that this is not available) .
Further this information is requested to be reportable on a consolidated way to answer how many money has employees/ the hole company spend on vendor A, vendor B etc.
This seems to be a legal requirement by the tax authority since last year.
2) Further it needs to be a flag available on expense type level if a tax is retrievable by the company from the tax authority based on the information if it was spend with in a home zone of 30 miles. So the employee has to specify if the spending was with in a zone of 39 miles around his office.
As both requirements are legal demands from the government I would expect that this is covered in the Mexico country template(32).
But I haven't found anything about.
Do you have any insides about SAP's plans? Maybe you have implemented this on a customer solution. Or you could confirm that capability and that it is covered in the country template of Mexico.

Blank line in address display for country mexico

Hi All,
I am using address node to print the addrees using address no in smart forms. It is working fine but when the country is mexico the one blan line is printing after street address.
Please let me know how to avoid blank lines.

The Country/Region doesn't have Mexico?!

I buy a macbook pro between 11 June and 25 July, specifically July 14, I live in mexico and I want to upgrade to OS Mountain Lion, but the update page for free from Apple, specifically in this (http:/ / uptodate.apple.com / UTDActionCustomerInfo) is not the country of Mexico, on the part of "country / Region", I request your help to update it.

Country Specifc Settings

Hi:
WE are in process of implementing ECC 6.0 in Mexico.
When we tried to setup country specific settings in our Development client using transaction O035, We received following error and were not able to create country specific setting for country code MX.
Country company code does not exist
Message no. CW015
Diagnosis
The country company code does not exist.
System Response
The country version conversion can not take place.
Procedure
Please create the country company code.

It seems that when originally SAP was implemented, the entries for org structure 0001 was deleted from Development client. Until we have entries for org. structure 0001 in our DEV client, we will not be able to generate country specific settings for MX. Is it possible to copy org structure 0001 entries from client 000 to Dev client 200 without overwriting existing configuration in development client.
Please let me know asap.

We have the same "problem". As time of our initial implementation on release 2.2D (centuries ago ) we also chose 0001 - which is a problem now when we try to use the country template for Russia.
The only way to come around this is to copy the entries from client 000 more or less manually, which means: logging in to client 000, step to the customizing table and create a transport for the same and then use SCC1 to import that transport.

Your info page asking for name address etc comes up in US format, not mexican but it insists that my country is Mexico. It's not, that's only where I live.

Could explain what info page is asking for this? Also, this could be due to the ip address you have.

AB printing labels including country other than own.

To do this should be straight forward. Select print country then not own however select country works but as soon as I select not own all countries dissapear. I have checked the 'me' card is correct.

Well I've been trying all sorts of things and have discovered some annoying aspects of Address Book. When entering an address, the country field offers no possibility of selecting the country from Apple's predefined list. However, if the country is entered in a different way to that found in this list (e.g. USA instead of United States, or Groot Brittannië instead of United Kingdom...), then the country field is simply ignored or treated as equivalent to "my country" when labels are printed. Apple also insists on strictly following the country template defined in Preferences, so that if entering an address for the UK, where addresses rarely follow a template, then, even if everything else is correct, the country will be treated as "my country" (in other words, it's not printed!). And, no, even though you can edit the address after entry in order to select the country from Apple's predefined list, because the rest of the address does not follow the template, the country still remains unprinted.
Methinks that Apple's US programmers think that every address follows strict template rules per country. Fine in perhaps 90% of the cases, but the reality is that few people in the UK are aware of address templates. What I don't understand is why it is so difficult to simply compare the country field with the specified "my country" name.
There are also problems in formatting addresses (and, in particular, names) to satisfy national conventions with regard to title, use of partner names, first names, and so on. It's all a bit too American for international usage, I feel.

Country installation program

Is it mandatroy to run country installation program while creating a new company code?
e.g. I have to create new comapny code for a US company. This is new system. Do I have to mandatorily run country installation program or can I just copy company code from US01 which is country template for US co code. What will happen if I do that, meaning not run the country installation program and copy co code from the US template co code.
I do not want to run the country template unless it is a must. Pl advice.

Biztalk Map: Accumulation of unique detail elements in the header

Below are the source and target schemas. I was wondering how I can achieve a mapping where the element "country" in the detail are promoted to the header where the list contains only unique country names with quantity defaulted to 1. In the example

Company code creation issue

Hi All,
When I am creating company code I am getting an error as below.
"you may not change the currency since documents exist with this currency"
Above issue is coming while new co code creation or copying of existing co code also.

Hi,
I hope you are creating new company code by copying from the exiting company code. If you copy one company code to another company code then you will get few pop- up message like do you want to use same chart of account or do you want to use same currecny like that. So may be you have selected different currecny. Sap has come up with country template for each country. So you can use country template to create the new company code.
