Coupon printing

Since I upgraded to 10.6.2 (actually since I installed Snow Leopard) I cannot print out Coupons. I installed the coupon printer software (available at certain coupon sites). It worked fine in 10.5 but not for 10.6.2. It is interesting to note that this coupon printer software does have a Mac version. I have downloaded, reinstalled and nothing happens. Firefox also crashes when I try to print the coupons.
Any suggestions?

I took a look at the software provided from the URL you provided. Obviously, CMCSK is correct. Different operating systems may require a change or update in some software. You need to check with the software supplier.
In this case, it appears the software supplier believes they have provided an update. The currently available software is supposed to work with OS X 10.6. There is actually a separate installer for OS X 10.6 buried deep beneath the installer icon the user sees. Unfortunately, there is an ownership and permissions problems with what they are installing for OS X 10.6.x. Try the following commands in a Terminal (/Applications/Utilities) window:

Hit the Return or Enter key. Enter you password when prompted. It will not appear in the Terminal window as you type, but it will be entered. Hit the Return or Enter key again. Then procede to the next command and repeat the process. You should not be prompted for your password the second time.

I cannot print coupons in the new Firefox 4.0. I had no problem in the 3.6. It tells me to install the coupon printer but it is already installed. Worked fine before.

PLUG-INS not always loading - - Coupon Printer Manager plugin has crashed

I am running Windows XP SP3 and all updates are current.
For weeks, running 7.0.1, 8.0.1 or 9.0.1, whenever I try to print coupons at the www.coupons.com website, I have difficulty and consistently I receive the following Firefox ERROR message...
"The Coupons Inc. Coupon Printer Manager plugin has crashed"
...and I always SUBMIT a REPORT to Mozilla.
This website is suppose to invoke the following plug-ins...
Coupons Inc., Coupon Printer Manager 4.0.1.3
Coupons Inc., Coupon Printer Manager 4.0.0.7
...and using Task Manager I watch to see if the Image column shows one or two plug-ins appear - of course, I don't know which ones - see below for additional info. Most of the time only one plug-in appears and then the website asks me to INSTALL the software (again). When two plug-ins appear (again, I do not know which), things run okay for the first coupon - however around 50% of the time I am unable to print a second, third, etc, coupon.

I have disabled each of these add-ons to see if anything improves, but nothing does. This does not surprise me since I have been running the same ADD-ONS for months and this problem has only started happening over the past few weeks.
I have uninstalled the Coupon Printer plug-ins, scrubbed my Registry, and then reinstalled them (with FF closed, as well as opened, of course), and that does not help either.
Sure would like to RESOLVE this FF problem.
I am wondering if there's a PLUGINS setting that needs tweaking, and on that note, I have tried setting...
dom.ipc.plugins.java.enabled
...to TRUE (where default is false) and that does not help either.

Sorry, a resolution isn't going to easily or come from Mozilla.
4 out of 5 of those crashes were directly caused by the Coupons, Inc. Coupon Printer DLL = npMozCouponPrinter.dll
The developer of that plugin is going to have to fix it. Contact the Coupon website to find out how to report a bug with that plugin.

I tried installing a coupon printer and nothing came up in the download box. Please help!!!

I was trying to print a coupon for Huggies pullups and it said to install coupon printer follow three steps which I did but when the download page came up it was blank, so I couldn't click open. I tried the troubleshooting page but nothing I did worked.

I suppose there is a possibility that you have security software than may be blocking quarantining or even deleting the downloaded file.
Normally if Firefox says in the download manager that the file is downloaded then it is on your computer, and if you right click you should get the option to open the folder the er the downloaded file is in.

RECENTLY UPDATED TO JAVA 7 UPDATE 51, CAN'T GET "REDPLUM COUPON PRINTER" TO WORK. VALASSIS COMMUNICATIONS, INC. IF YOU CLICK RUN ON THE PROGRAM, DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. WORKED FINE BEFORE UPDATE. DOESN'T WORK WITH INTERNET EXPLORER EITHER. I USE NORTON ANTIVIRUS. DOWNLOADED JAVA MORE THAN ONCE, SAME PROBLEM. EVEN DOWNLOADED WITH ANTIVIRUS OFF, SAME RESULTS. PLEASE HELP.

The CAPS LOCK key also seems to have gotten stuck on.*

Won't print coupons after coupon printer installed?

I can't seem to print any coupons now since I upgraded to the Firefox 3.6.6? I've tried to install the coupon printer several times and uninstall still I can't print my coupons, What's UP? I did what you said to this file. It still locks up the printer. The
printer begins as if it will print, then all the lights go out and it just
sat there doing nothing. It didn't make me shut down the computer...just
had to restart the printer...then printing a totally different document was
possible. It printed a word doc that hadn't been converted from pdf to word
just fine.

I followed someone else's advice and found all the silverlight files in "INVISIBLE FILES".
In the Finder, choose File > Find or press Command (⌘)-F.
From the far-left pop-up menu (labeled “Kind”), choose Other.
In the list of search attributes, select the “File invisible” checkbox, and then click OK.
In the related menu, choose Invisible Items.
once loaded go to folder Private
then to folder VAR
then folder db
then folder Receipts
scroll to any com.microsoft.silverlight item and delete. there are a bunch of them.
close, restart and install silverlight.

JAVA APPLET FOR COUPON PRINT CONTROL

I need to create a coupon control applet for my website that will require clients to submit to a squeeze form and then control the quantity of coupons printed to that IP address. The app will also need to manage the overall quantities printed of any one coupon. This exact system is being employed by smartsource.com currently.

Likely because the people writing the coupon printing software aren't very good at what they do.
If you can provide a bit more details as to what doesn't work, that might narrow it down.

Let me know how to cancel getting these coupons printed weekly. Using up toner and paper. I didn't sign up for this and the coupons are worthless to me.

When will firefox4 be able to include Coupon Printer?

Installed Firefox4 (previously had 3.6.17). Got message that coupon printer was NOT available yet. We use it ALL THE TIME , so I immediately uninstalled & reinstalled 3.6.17.
Now I keep getting messages, e.g. paypal & my security system provider that my browser should be updated. Would love to, but NEED coupon printer. HELP???

Yes, if Logic or the plugs could effectively purge unused ram, and there was a foolproof/one-click way to dynamically unload instruments that have been frozen, it might be a smoother process for me.
As it is, with activity monitor open, whatever gets loaded seems to stay loaded, including patches you're auditioning and discarding.
(Even if I unload say, VSL altogether, the RAM usage stays high).
I'm having to restart quite a bit during the writing/performing process because of this.
On top of this, not taking advantage of the addressable ram seems a bit ludicrous to me, especially in light of what's been going on for a good while in terms of sample-based-plug technology.
Maybe Bluebery's response (no offence) is an indication of why these issues haven't been addressed. ('scuse the pun).

Coupon printer installer

It's possible that this is a significant issue, what with the popularity of Apple devices along with the recent expsoure of the hit show "Extreme Couponing", that Mac users may not be getting the 'ease' of use out of their computers.
My wife is beginning to talk me out of Snow Leopard since our upgrade because we are having so many problems not being able to print coupons from redplum.com, bricks and coupons.com    We have however been able to print from smart source.   The issue seems to be related to getting a coupon offer in her email or through a link on Facebook. We click on and it's not able to print, or cannot recognize that we are set up to print. This was not an issue before upgrading to SL.   I did find that I could reinstall the smart source one, but coupons.com wants us to keep re-installing what we already installed. Bricks, which is a key one of these coupons places, just does not print at all. Is there a solution? A general one or a setting that I need to do or a work around that anyone has had experience with?

There has been a lot of discussion about this for at least several weeks. This thread might help you. I haven't tried myself in several weeks to get coupons from coupon.com so I don't know if it has been fixed yet or not.

Coupon printing with a 3054a All-in-one

I have an iMac running Lion (Mac OS 10.7.2) with a HP 3054a all in one. Whenever I try to print a coupon I get an error message that gives the status as "error" and the job message says "/usr/libexec/cups/filter/CouponConvertor_v2 failed"
I appear to have everything else set up correctly.
Can anyone help? I can't live without my coupons....
I've tried printing in Safari and Firefox with the same results.
