Coupons/Promotions support in VA01
Does anyone know if coupons are supported in VA01 and can offer any direction for further research?
Im also looking also having problems with free goods promotions where a customer can actually choose from a group of free goods. This functionality exists in bonus buys for retail but that does not seem to work in VA01.
Other points of frustration are promotion prompting, and customer based promotions in VA01.
Any information appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Do you know in which way when executing a coupon campagin, is possible to know the quantity of coupons (points in my case) that a customer has accumulated so far?
We are trying to customize campaigns where the customer with a minimun quantity of points, can trade them for a product or special discount.
Does CRM 4.0 has the coupons concept or something similar?
Regards,
EfrainHi Efrain,
In CRM 4.0, this coupon managment is not available.
Through interaction object (New transcation type present in CRM 5.0) you can track quantity of coupons for single BP.
When ever you release cupon campaigns automatically in CRM 5.0 interaction objects were associated with each BP, there by using this doucment type you can track the quantity of coupons for BP.

Well today I had another unfortunate experience at Best Buy. I tried to use the below deal that begins today:
Trade in Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox One or PS4 and receive $20 trade-in value. Trade in Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox 360 or PS3 and receive $10 trade-in value. Trade in Call of Duty: Black Ops II for Xbox 360 or PS3 and receive $15 trade-in value. Trade in Call of Duty: Black Ops for Xbox 360 or PS3 and receive $10 trade-in value. Plus, get a $10 off coupon to use toward Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Offer valid in store only. Trade in values shown include any bonuses. Trade in values valid 10/19/14–11/2/14. Coupon valid in stores only through 11/8/14. Not available in all locations. Payment is by Best Buy gift card. You will be required to agree to Best Buy's trade-in Terms & Conditions. Participating stores may have additional requirements. Best Buy reserves the right to refuse any trade-in or limit quantities for any reason. Tax is calculated from the regular retail price prior to gift card value being applied to the bill. Not compatible with any other offer. Limit 1 coupon per transaction. See a Customer Specialist or for details.
1) I went over to the gaming kiosk to trade in my games. The employee told me I have to do this at the customer service desk. I've never had to do this at any Best Buy. I always trade in games at the kiosk since USUALLY I'll get someone knowledgable with video games and the current promotions.
2) I go to the customer service desk and told the girl I want to trade in CoD: Ghosts and Black Ops II. I also want to use the $10 coupon promotion and apply it to a CoD: AW preorder.
3) The girl tells me that I have to do this online. The coupon fine print obviously states it is in-store only. I try explaining this is an in-store promotion.
4) She told me I must be talking about the $10 rewards certificate for preordering. NO. Look in the ad, they are two different promotions.
5) Then, she told me that I cannot preorder this game in-store. "We must have run out of copies." I've never heard of a standard edition Call of Duty game run out of preorders before. Especially on a new system (PS4) where they need their userbase to be huge.
6) At this point I was fed up. I asked if there was someone in the video gaming department that had more experience with the promotions and trading in games. The girl told me that they do not have any video game specialists at the store.
I seriously cannot believe a Best Buy store can be this clueless. How can someone run a business like this? Sadly this is not the first time I've ran into problems with Best Buy.
Has anyone had any luck using this promotion? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???Hello WeaKeN,
It shouldn't be so difficult to pre-order an upcoming game, so I can imagine why you'd be frustrated! It sounds like the rep you spoke with might not have been familiar with either the game trade-in or pre-order process, although walk-through guides and training documents should have been readily available at the time of your visit.
To take advantage of our current Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trade-in promotion, customers simply need to trade in a copy of either Call of Duty: Ghosts or Call of Duty: Black Ops II and reserve a copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at their local store. Both the trade-in gift card and coupon can then be applied at the time of pickup, with the $10 pre-order bonus certificate being awarded 15-20 days after pickup. Since the Atlas and Atlas Pro edition are online-only items, they are not eligible for this offer.
Were you able to reserve your copy of the game? Are you still in need of assistance?

Hi,
I have created a order discount coupon. but it does not apply to my order..
Pls help me out.
JkThere can be following reasons for promotion not getting applied-
-Not applying correct coupon
-Promotion Expired
-Promotion Disabled
-Item does not Qualify for promotion
-User already user the promotion x times and can not use more then x no of times
To figure out reason put log debug in PromotionTools component.

Our imac is great, at 10 years old. We don't need a new one. Please make the new version of Firefox compatible with system 10.4.11--or continue to support our system. Why unnecessarily require your users to invest upwards of $1,000 in unnecessary hardware?
In my case it seems that Firefox just doesn't "see" (or can't find?) the coupon printer application anymore after the FF update. (and yes, my add-ons are enabled - to answer the tech support people's first question).
For me, the coupon printer doesn't even show up in my Firefox "Add-Ons" list anymore. Is that what people typically see when they're saying the coupon printer "doesn't work" with FF? The coupon printer was visible on the add-ons list before my FF update, and now it's totally Gone! It seems that Firefox just doesn't "see" (or can't find?) the coupon printer application anymore since the FF update.
When I'm on the coupons.com site and I click "print coupons", it tells me I haven't installed the application. But it Is installed on my computer, I can see it in my folders, and it works on IE, so it's definitely there.
BTW - I have uninstalled/reinstalled the coupon printer application. I have tried all the suggestions on the Mozilla help/forum sites, as well as the Coupons.com web site. I have closed and re-started Firefox after the installation. I have also shut down and restarted my pc after installation. I tried installing the application with Firefox open, and tried it again with Firefox closed. I've even cleared out all my cookies/history associated with Coupons.com.
... I can't think of anything else to try, except for the "solution" of using IE for coupons.
If it Really is a problem on the Coupon.com end of things, do you think it's worth it if we bombard the coupons.com support team with messages saying they need to fix the problem? (or just a waste of time?) ;( -
ATG : Find Excluded Promotion after applying Stacking Rule
1.Created a global promotion and created a stacking rule to exclude the following coupon promotion.
2.Created a coupon promotion and created a stacking rule to exclude the above global promotion.
In the cart page, at first global promotion get applied. If I apply a coupon, global promotion gets excluded and only coupon promotion gets applied which as expected.
But the global promotion doesn't get removed totally from the order. Only while pricing calculation it gets excluded.
I am displaying a message for each promotion in cart page(Eg. This.is the promotion applied to the order). So the excluded promotion still displays that property.
-When inspected on profile.getActivePromotions(profile), it gave me only Claimed promotions by the user.
-When inspected on PromotionTools.getPromotions(profile) it gave me all global promotions for the user which didn't take in account for the excluded stacking promotion.
Is there any OOTB way to find out this excluded promotion. -

Intellicomplete is a word completion software I regularly use in text editing and internet searches in Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer. However, Firefox 6 does not accept it. This prevents me from upgrading to Firefox 6 and benefiting from its security features.

I cannot make any comments on Facebook & I cannot view video on the NY Times website. On some other websites I cannot scroll through slideshows. This seems to be strictly a Firefox issue: none of these problems occur on Safari or Chrome.
I'm on a Mac OS 10.6.8. Everything worked before this change. To rectify, per instruction, I have cleared history, cookies & cache; updated Adobe flash; started in Safe Mode & tested all extensions; upgraded and tested all plug-ins and add-ons; created and tested new profile. I do NOT want to upgrade to 4.0 or 5.o. I've spent weeks trying to repair this to no avail; (it shouldn't be this hard. I've been a Firefox user since its inception, but Chrome is looking like my only alternative.) How to delete firefox 3.6.17
(or just a waste of time?) ;( -
Since I downloaded Firefox 3.6.6 on my Mac, I am now unable to get e-mail address to automatically complete when I enter the first few letters of the address. in English

As I said 3.6.16 keeps crashing. I thought I downloaded an update a few days ago and this started. But when I looked for the latest version I found there is 4.0. I am currently downloading it but so far I've only downloaded 19.0 of 26.8 MB in the last half hour. It says it's only downloading at 3.1KB/sec which is quite slow.
Does anyone out there know why it may be crashing and does 4.0 solf this?
Again, I'm on a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X version 10.6.7.
Thanks in advance for any support. In my case it seems that Firefox just doesn't "see" (or can't find?) the coupon printer application anymore after the FF update. (and yes, my add-ons are enabled - to answer the tech support people's first question).

I made an error when I was filling in a user name. Firefox is continuing to offer this as a suggestion in a drop down menu after using Clear Recent History. I used Clear Recent History, tried restarting Firefox after clearing history, and reinstalled Firefox. I did a search on Google, Firefox and Apple to see if someone else has reported this problem. All gave the same information that I have already tried.
