Course Appraisal Extraction in HCM

Hi,
I am trying to extract course appraisals from my ECC 5.0 / HCM (I think it's 2.0 EA-HR is SAPKGPHC15) / LSOFE 300 system, into my BI 3.5.3 system but can't. I can pull the Personnel Appraisals at will using the standard business content extractors however, the Course Appraisals (Object Types E and ET) are not extracted, only object type P's are extracted.
If I run program RHHAP_DISPLAY_DB, I see my course appraisals in tables HRHAP and HRHAP_BASIC alongside my personnel appraisals, but it looks like the course appraisals are being filtered out by the template for some reason.
Is the standard extractor set for HCM (0HAP_DOC_ID_ATTR, 0HR_PA_HAP_1, 0HR_PA_HAP_2 and 0HR_PA_HAP_3) incompatible with Course Appraisals for LSO, do they only deliver PA content or can we select which one?
If I run the text based extractor, 0HAP_DOC_ID_TEXT, I receive all appraisal texts (object types E, ET and P)! So, this extractor is not filtered, but the others are.

Error in Course appraisal done by LSO_PSV1

Hi,
I tried to execute the Course appraisal from LSO_PSV1 but when selection the Person that has to evaluate the Course, then selected Participation --> Appraisal --> create.
I selected the Appraisal template (new template VA) and I got the following error:
Appraisee person "..." not allowed.
The object P is between the Appraiser types for object E Course in PHAP_CATALOG, Tab Participants of Category group "SAP Learning Solution".
do you know why the error appears?

LSO - Perform Course Appraisal

Hi All,
I have this requirement where I m suppose to check which all participants have performed the course appraisal which they atteneded (Classroom or WBT).
Requirement is to send a mail to all the participants who have attended the training but not performed the course appraisal.

Please find the solution for this requirement.
"A notification to remind employees to complete a course appraisal form after the completion of the course.
Condition 1: No reminder should be sent out if an employee hasnu2019t attend the course.
Condition 2: The reminder should be only for course followup action is done.
Condition 3: If an employee doesnu2019t have an email address then his/her manager needs to be notified by email that their employees will have to fill out a course evaluation form.
Condition 3A: For a classroom course, if there is more than one employee in a team attending the course, then a single email should be sent out to the manager listing all the employees in his/her team that have attended the course but do not have an email address."
Fetch all the class room courses (Object Type E or ET ) and its relationships (A/025) with Person (Object Type P) and get their ADATANR and PERNR
Validate and fetch the followup flag for all the available ADATANR from HRPAD25 (adatanr ,followup flag) and sort Object wise (E) PERNR's
get the appraisal document ids based on course E or ET Type and extended appraisee Id from HRHAP_APPEE
Based on above appraisal document Ids and persid from HRP1001 and type P,get the consolidated documents from HRHAP_APPER
Fetch the data from hrhap table and get the appraisal status other than 5, based on above consolidated data
Based on the above cons data we have to get the email ids.
If email ID's are not available for the attendees, the consolidated email notification has to send to the reporting position at course level. (Check A/002 relationship).

Set up control parameters as
SEMIN - EVAEV - appraisal form ID
SEMIN - EVAPA - appraisal form ID
Both appraisals are same, but form will be different depend on your criteria group and criteria for evaluation.

Course Appraisal (OSA-LSO)

Hi All,
I have created a OSA template for Providing feedback to the courses attended my the employees...The problem is that in the Template the course field shows all the courses that are in the system instead of only the courses attended or completed by the employee....
I have tried maintaining "Add Booked Courses" for fixed Enhancement in the, But does not help.
Appreciate any input on the same.

Create a course appraisal template

Hello, We are trying to leverage page documents_todo.htm from service 'HAP_DOCUMENT' for LSO course appraisals. It's working except we don't want learners to create their own appraisals - we want the page prepopulated with valid appraisals based on course attendance and completion. I've been looking at other messages on SDN and it looks like we want to do the following:
1. Get list of Appraisers for the course
-Use BADI HRHAP00_TMPL_608
-Add implementation to an enhancement area in transaction OOHAP_BASIC (I'm not sure which one, though as neither HA or D1 worked for me.)
-Add the implementation to our category for our lso appraisal
-Add it to our template for "further template behavior"
2. Create the documents (phap_prepare doesn't seem to work - I think because the appraisee is not a P?)
- Use FM HRHAP_TEMPLATE_GET_DETAIL
- Save the document HRHAP_DOCUMENT_SAVE
- Unlock it HRHAP_DOCUMENT_DEQUEUE (why would we do this?)
Then my hope is it would appear on the page.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Am I totally off base?

LSO : Course Appraisal Issue

Hi All,
Please let me know whether its mandatory for Training Administrator to create Appraisal Document for each participant for the course manually or is there any way out to automatically create the document for all partipant of the course.

BADi for deleting a flexible goal in an Appraisal Template (SAP HCM)

I know that we can use the standard BADi: ADD_NEW_ELEMENT for a flexible goal.
If the employee has wrongly entered a flexible goal and later if he has to delete it, then do have standard BADi to this too?

HRHAP00_ENHANCE_DEL3 - Delete Element 'In Planning', 'In Review', 'In Process'

Course and Attendee Appraisal

Hello Experts,
Need your advice as I am confused.
We have created appraisal templates for Course Appraisal and Attendee Appraisal.
In order to create relationship between Course and Appraisal which relationship do we create using transaction PP01 ?
a) Is it A608 to assign a valid appraisal template to Course ( the system displays message "Object 01 VA 5000NNNN does note exist".)
or
b) ( A057 ) and / or ( A058 ) .
When attempted to create relationship between Course and appraisal template ( A057 ) an error message is displayed stating " Between type D and VA relationship A057 is not allowed --> T777E ).
We can customise the relationship in table T777E, but is that a right way forward?
Can you please advise what is the correct procedure to assign appraisal template to Course to conduct a) Attendee appraisal b) Course Appraisal.
Please treat this as urgent.

Many thanks for your guidence, we've as suggested we checked the following :-
Check these steps to rectify the problem:
- entry HAP00 REPLA (in table T77S0) should be 'A' or 'T' ==> Entry exists 'A'
- the action D/DC - A608 - VA should exist to allow to relate the appraisal model directly during the creation of the training type
(transaction OOMT) ==> Created the action however, I feel without this action, if we ensure the relationship is created manually using PP01 it should meet the requirement.
For one of the courses & Appraisal Template we've created relationship A608 for in Planned Status.
- appraisal catagories must exist for the training appraisal ==> Appraisal categories are available
- appraisal formular must exist for the training formular ==> Appraisal template is available for training evaluation.
- the ID of the appraisal formular must be maintained in HRLSO TEMPL (table T77S0) ==> Appraisal template object ID is entered, record exists in T77S0.
But still the training evaluation template is not appearing in ESS.
Any further advise ?

No. I made a simple Course evaluation form. In LiveCycle Designer LC (part Acro 9 Ex Pro)When my client try to the Email Button They get a obtuse error.
Acrobat does not allow connection to:
mailto:[email protected]?subject=Course Appraisal Survey.
Apparently LifeCycle and Acrobat are not that compatible - go figure
I have tried extending rights in reader but still does not work..
From trawling thru the Net the best advice is rebuild the form in Acrobat NOT LiveCycle. Extremely underwhelmed at the moment

I am working on LSO Course appraisals we have configured a template separately as a category along with OSA in the same category group. Could any one please let me know is this course appraisals used for both class room and online courses??
When the form will be diplayed in the portal ?
Do we need to include course or course type in the template i meam appraisee type ???

Thanks for the response. I have created the course appraisal templae including the object type -p and coures.
I can able to create the appraisal document using appcreate transaction and i do not have any problem at the template level and not facing any authorization issues.
My issue is we are using both OSA and course appraisal ,we set the main swithc as "A". When i tried to open the template using tcode lso_pv34 under participant appraisal i was able to create app documents.
When i try to create the template using pv33 iam getting no templet found message, i defined forms of appraisals also and kept the course appraisal switch empty.
Please let me know how the pv33 tcode will work ,i want to perform the course appraisal .

Course Apprisal for Web Based Traning is not considering the inputs values

We have created Course Appraisal Template for Web Based Training. It is reflected in portal and we are able to see the template and we can give the values also. When I am executing the template the following error is showing " The status change not possible"

How do you know the value isn't being passed - could it be that it's not passed correctly?

Only 1 LSO Appraisal Template avail for assigning to HRLSO TEMPL

We are currently building LSO Training Management in SAP ERP 2005.
Objective Settings and Appraisals is also used concurrently.
The following appraisal templates has been configured in PHAP_CATALOG under Category Group SAP Learning Solution

I would like to set the default appraisal template to Customer Course Evaluation whenever I activate appraisals in transaction LSO_PSV2 from Participation > Appraisals > Create whilst clicking on the course.
In order to acheive the above, in the config setting for HRLSO TEMPL , I will need to assign the appraisal template.
The problem is the only appraisal template that allows me to select when I click on the search help is Web-based Training. Not any others.
Is there any config setting that needs to be taken care of so as to get the search help top pop up Customer Course Evaluation for my config selection as well ?

Hi Gregg,
I tested the issue and after my investigation I found out the following:
I created a new template and did the steps you described. In the T77S0 i wanted to have the new template in the list while pushing the F4 on the switch HRLSO TEMPL, but only the one was shown which is the current...
I went to PP01, checked the Serial Number of the Appraisal template I created and entered it into the HRLSO TEMPL manually, than pushed "Save" -> it worked correct, no error messages came.
Now once again went back to the switch, pushed on F4 and there was the bug -> only the new template I created was on the list...
Thus our SAP internal systems are up-to-date with the newest patches, I suppose that this one is probably a system malfucntion.
I would like to suggest you to post an OSS message tot the SAP to the component of PE-LSO-TM. If our official investigations are done and the issue is considered as a failure, we will release for the customers an SAP correction note.
I hope this helps somehow converge you to the right solution!

Provisioning from HCM Staging Area to SAP Master question from a newbie

I have built a sandbox idM 7.2 PL3 (MS-SQL 2008/Windows 2003).
I've had a few stumbles on the way and my latest issue is that I have extracted the HCM data from our ERP (EHP5) HCM instance via LDAP to the VDS. The transfer completes successfully and the statistics on the HCM_Staging_Area indicate that the records have been added to this Identity Store.
The event handling on the Entity Type, MX_HCM_EMPLOYEE, has the task +189/Write HCM Employee To SAP Master_ configured. This Job (and it's tasks) is enabled. I can see the records (cn = "<SID666SAP 0000001>") with an objectclass of MX_HCM_EMPLOYEE.
Hiowever, nothing is logged in the System Log or Job Log to indicate that this task has been executed by the load. The SAP_Master is not updated.
I'm using the idM for SAP Landscape Configuration Guide (October 2011) for this installation.
Am I missing something? Is there a log file or trace that I can look at to try and figure out what is going on.

This is my first attempt at setting up the idM so I've added what I've checked to answer your questions. I would be glad to hear of any additional checks I could perform.
Achim:
- Dispatcher is started: Yes, Windows Service is running (started).
- Dispatcher is configured to run standard and provisioning jobs: Yes, all jobs in Job tab of dispatcher are selected
- are there any entries within the provisioning queue: I believe so, On the statistics tab of the HCM_staging_area Identity store there are 513 entries provisioning queue size
- Jobs and Tasks are enabled, assigned to a dispatcher and configured to run as provisioning jobs: * Yes, the tasks are enabled and the schedule rule is set to provisioning for both tasks*

The exported entries are reaching the Identity Store. I can query the data and the statistics indicate this as well. The provisioning queue size increases as well. I have set the SAP_MASTER_IDS_ID to the appropriate id for SAP_Master (4) and HR_STAGING_AREA_IDS_ID to HCM_Staging_Area Identity Store (5).

Creating Course Appraisals for I-view

I have a custom developed i-view, where I want to have the course appraisals associated with participants to show in. I.e. once a appraisal is available in the Learning Portal (Perform Course Appraisal) it should also be available in the I-view, the idea is then to create a workflow with a link to this I-view, instead of linking to the BSP (as this doesn't work, due to a deep link problem).
My problem is then, it seems the course appraisal documents aren't created before the link is activated (not sure how the data lies, but it seems the form is created upon clicking the link), that means that nothing will flow to the i-view before the link is activated.
Do anoyone know have to "force" creation of these Appraisal Forms so they are available in the i-view even if the link isn't activated?

Hi,
Like you said, the document is only created once the link is clicked. And without modification you cant influence it.
What you could do is use this behaviour. Hide the appraisal part on the BSP, and on your custom Iview just replicate the logic used by the learning solution.
Check if the course is completed , when yes create the appraisal document and show it in your own iview. LSO uses
FM LSO_EVALUATION_GET_URL_CREATE to do the checks and create the appraisal url.
