Course on SAP R/3 administration built on AIX-DB2 ?
Hi,
My company is planning to send me to SAP R/3 administration courses.
Our systems are buit on UNIX(AIX)-DB2-SAP R/3, my intention here is to find courses not on AIX or DB2 but on SAP R/3, only I want SAP platform to be built on AIX-DB2. Could someone suggest some courses on this configuration ?
Thanks in advance
Vilius

HI SAP Gurus.I am Mr.padmaraj.I am Mechanical Engineering Diploma holder having 10 yrs of experience (8 yrs in India, 2 yrs in Gulf) in construction, planning, & Execution design of Oil & Gas(LNG Terminals), Petro-chemical, refineries, & power projects. Now i have just started MM course in SAP. May i know
1) the SAP course doing is correct one.
2) what kind of job opportunities are there after completing SAP course (MM)
Best Regards
PadmarajHi Padmaraj,
As per my understanding the course you going to pursue will fit you. SAP MM is all about managing the materials.
Once you get into the SAP field then you can explore otyher opportunities as well as SCM etc...
As the job market is concerned, if have good knowledge the getting a job is not very tough. Job opportunities can be in consulting company, IT services company or in production company if they have SAP.

Hi! Excellent that you are take the next steps in your education and applying them to work experiences.
The best approach in taking SAP-related courses is to contact the university and confirm their approach. View SAP UA member schools here - http://uaaroundtheworld.informatik.tu-muenchen.de/overview(bD1lbiZjPTEwMQ==)/start.htm
...and assess the ones in the UK which does include Brunel.
Ask if they provide SAP-related curricula (or supplements) and hands on SAP software in this course or others that you can take in your program.

Which course in SAP helps my career better?
Hi,
I am new to SAP Community Network and to the SAP World.
To give brief introduction, I am a sales professional over the last 15 years post my MBA (Marketing) and Science graduation (B.Sc.).
I am not new to computing learning, as way back I have learnt C & C++, but didn't attain any IT profession and been into Sales profession since my Post graduation.
I wish to join the IT-force by learning SAP.
With given my back-ground in sales professions (15 years experience) I wish to learn SAP and would wish to attain the "BUSINESS ANALYST" position in any Organisation.
Requesting the community to suggest me which course in SAP helps me to attain the said position and what are basics and subsequent courses I need to complete before attaining the 'Business Analyst' position.
Also, please suggest me once I do the requisite course, do my present experience counts while applying for suitable positions of SAP professionals.
Thanks & Regards,
RaghavHi Raghav,
SAPTEC(or TASU11) is the basic course I think you could have first. It will introduce you the SAP Solutions includes :
Business Suite
Definition of SAP NetWeaver
The SAP Release Strategy
Also some navigations in SAP systems and so on.

SAP HANA XS Administration Tool Missing
The SAP HANA XS Administration Tool seems to be missing from our HANA AWS instance. The various roles associated with XS Administration are also missing.
The best theory I can come up with is that it has something to do with our upgrade path. Version 52 was originally installed in August. We upgraded to Version 69 in February.
I've scanned the release notes and it looks like the tool may have been introduced in SPS06.
Did we miss something during the Version 69 upgrade? If so, does anyone know how to fix this?Hi Michael,
Maybe you can try to import the DU manually. Open your SAP HANA Studio, File -> Import -> SAP HANA Content -> Delivery Unit -> Choose your SAP HANA system, then select the file like the following. Hope it will help.

Most useful SAP courses in SAP NetWeaerv Administrator area
Hi!
I am certified SAP Basis consultant (SAP NetWeaver´04 - SAP Web AS for ORACLE).
Now I have the possibility to extend my knowledge and to visit one or two SAP courses.
What are the other most useful SAP courses (from practical point of view) in SAP NetWeaver area that you could recommend?
Thank you very much!

SAP SSM 2007 - Administrator's user interface
Hello,
I've a problem concerning SAP Strategy Managment 2007 (pilot).
I get a "Page not found" when logging into the Administrator's user interface http://localhost/pilot/pipadmin .
It opens a pop_up window with the path: http://localhost/pilot/scriptmain.pw?userinfo=/pilot/pipadmin/adminstart4.htm, but it doesn't work. IIS and Jboss are working correctly und the jboss_server.log contains no error.
Has someone an idea?
Thanks and best regards,
Robert MännelHi Chris,
thanks for your reply! Pilot Extended Listener; Pilot Listener; WWW and JBOSS are running and I started Pilot Extended Listener before Jboss, but it doesn't work.
It tries to open http://localhost/pilot/scriptmain.pw?userinfo=/pilot/pipadmin/adminstart4.htm but there isn't a file "scriptmain.pw" in the pilot directory, only the file "scriptmain.pip". Maybe it is missing?!
best regards,
