Course Type combination of Sequence, Alternate Group and Default in PP01

Hi Guys,
Need your help that we are facing currently.
While linking Course type with Course program(Mandatory block), we are facing issue below-
No sequence number visible on portal.
Trainings are visible in Alternative section.
After initial analyse,we found that in additional data of course type sequence(Element Sequence),alternate group and defaults(Element Alternatives) should be maintained. But not sure what should be the correct combination through which i should be able to see correct sequence in proper section.
Please suggest the proper combiation for this linkage which will be useful for me.

Hi,
When you maintain condition record that time system bring unit of measurement from material master and curancy from sales organization in which you created material.
Now in your customized table case, there is sales organization but not any material so it is not bringing it default as you don't have material.
So in this case you have to maintain it manually
Note - you material type, material group,etc not depandant to any UoM

Related Products, Grouping and Product Attributes?

My client http://www.meluka.co.nz/home has a new product range of Sofas. A new sub-catalog called Sofas, under the LIVINGroom catalog will be created with the six new products. By selecting a product in this sub-catalog, you are then taken to the Individual Product – Large window. This is where the layout will need to differ as each product has five different fabric options and within these fabric options there needs to be a choice of up to eight fabric colors. I’m already using Grouping & Related Products within the site. Ideally I’d like a dropdown of the different fabric types (as currently used for Grouping) and once this is chosen then the different colors shown (using Related Products) for that fabric type. The problem that I have is that Related Products need to appear in a Catalog (or Sub-Catalog) and I only want one of each of the products appearing on the Sub-Catalog page (i.e. not all the different colors.) It would seem that Product Attributes may be the answer? The large image view needs to show the chosen fabric and color. Promotion starts next week so mildly panicking…

A combination of mandatory attribute groups, non mandatory attribute groups and javascript to show hide them based on the needs you mentioned above would be what I would be doing in that case.

In Header part Code and Description
In Detail part Tax Type and Formula Code
Header part ---OTFC
but what is the table name to store detail part???
Like Wise in Tax Codes screen
where the column Tax Type is storing????

Hi Ani,
If you are talking about the description of the Tax Code I think it gets stored in the OTFC table only and the Tax Typr gets stored in the OSTT Table.

Why can't I type the name of a group in mail 7

I can no longer type the name of the group and Mail app 7 will auto fill all the addresses in the group. In order to group mail, I have to select addresses in the toolbar, click on the group, then command click on the individuals in the group and then click To:
Distribution list doesn't seem to work anymore.

I had a similar question but mine was more that I used to click on my group in the address book to select it and drag to the Bcc / cc field and now I can't seem to - but you helped by showing me an alternative - I am using OSX 10.9

LSO- Course Groups and Course Types are not displayed in Spanish

We are having issues with the
data like Course Groups and Course Types not being displayed in
Spanish on the Learning Iview.
The Data in the Course Catalog is loaded in Spanish and
English and I can see the Course Catalog in Spanish when logging on in Spanish in the back end.
SAP asked us to apply few notes as below
#1247020 OTR: Texts are not transported
#448220 OTR: Text is not determined/incorrect text is displayed
We have applied the above as well and we had no solution.
However the Problem is NOT related to Texts/Labels as these are displayed in Spanish.
The Problem is related to the data like Course Groups and Course types not being displayed in Spanish in the front end.
SAP also came up with the below which did not help either.
The system will pick the language texts in the sequence
maintained in the view T778L. If the system does not find text in
login langauge , the application will search in the sequence
maintained in the view T778L .Therefore you can change the sequence
of the languages in the above view as per your requirement.
Let me know if anyone has a solution to this or has encountered the same problem.

Is this production or is this in a development system? The dropdown displayed comes from the standard tables. If it's working in development system and not in production, then the chances are higher that the translation didn't go through.

Person DFF Context Value based on 2 criteria (Business Group and Emp Type)?

I need to define context value for DFF "Additional Personal Details" based on 2 criteria Business Group ID and Employee Type
Any idea how to do it?

Hello Elie,
I am not sure on it,However have you tried creating a context with combination of Business Group and Person Type using merging,
business_group_id || "_"|| person_type_id And structures would be something like 80_2112 Business Group id = 80 and Person Type id=2112.
It may resolve your issue if this works out.

Account group and Account Type.

Hi all,
Could you please tell me the diferences between GL Account group (by example cash, expense, revenue ....) which we define in IMG - Financial Accounting - General Ledger Accounting - G/L Accounts - Master Records - Preparations - Define Account Group and Account Type (by example: Vendor, Customer, Material, GL Account) which is in the screen "create account type" IMG - Financial Accounting - Financial Accounting Global Settings - Document - Document Header - Define Document Types ?

Hi
Account Group Controls the Master records. It controls the number range of Master record and Field status group (Supress, Required, Optional and Display) also. SAP follows a Grouping principle all throughout SAP to handle the Master Records that may be in GL, AR AP any thing. See to create a GL Account group you define at OBD4 there itself you assign the Number Range or those groups which also controls Field Staus of GL Master Records. And for Creating AR and AP Master Records you create at OBD2 and Vendor at OBD3 which will also controls Field Status Group of And Number range of Master record. The only difference between GL and AR/AP is assigning of number range. For GL will specify at OBD4 itself but for AR/AP we need to create a number range at FBN1 then assign to AR And AP at OBD2 and OBD3 respectively.
One more thing. Remember only Field Status group of Master recard (OBD2, OBD3, OBD4) only contain Display option but not to Posting Key or Field Satus Group (OB41 or OBC4). I am so specifing becoz I commited this mistake in one interview.
In summary, the account group controls:
i) The number ranges of the accounts,
ii) The status of the fields in the company code segment of the master record. Since a chart of accounts contains many different types of accounts, they can be bundled into different "account groups ". Usually one account group bundles
accounts with the same tasks within the general ledger, e. g. cash accounts, material accounts, asset accounts, profit and loss

Filtering R/3 Material Groups and Material Types

Hi,
I am trying to filter the Material groups and material types during master data upload from R/3 to SRM 4.0
I am tried doing the following:
1. In Txn R2AR2, i set up the request for DNL_CUST_PROD1 for MARA-MATKL(Material Group) & MARA-MTART(Material Type)and then run the Txn R3AR4 with DNL_CUST_PROD1. The replication was successful, but it pulled in all the R/3 backend material groups and material types.
Now i deleted the replicated material types and Material groups in SRM using SRM Std reports and this too was successful.
2. Now i tried another method - In Txn R3AC3, i selected the Object DNL_CUST_PROD1 and i added table MARA and set up the filter requirements for MARA-MTART(Material Types) and MARA-MATKL(Material Groups), i synchronized the filters and then when i selected the object DNL_CUST_PROD1 in Txn R3AS for initial upload, even this is pulling in all the material types and material groups from R/3 without filtering
Can anyone please let me know the exact procedure to filter out the R/3 Material types and material groups during initial upload of this data into SRM 4.0

Before starting the INitial load for MATERIAL,for filetr settings ,Go in tcode R3AC1.
There select the Object name as MATERIAL and click on the "filter settings" tab.
There in OBJECT FILTER SETTINGS
Enter the relevant filter criteria:
e.g. If you wnat to filter on Material type(MARA-MTART):
The input will be as follows:
Table /Structure :MARA
Field :MTART
OP :EQ Equality (= Low)
Low: "Material type name"
Incl/EXcl: Inclusive defined
And then click on the button "FILTER SYNC".
The filter settings are complete for the Material download.

Dear Experts
I want our users who are using transaction F.14 to be able to process document type ZF only. I have created a role and in the authorisation object F_BKPF_BLA
i can see field authorisation group and activity. What value i should put in the authorizatuion group object which will allow me to restrict users to work in document type ZF only

Didnt know whether to start a new post or continue this one. Basically I have the same problem but I seem to be missing something fundamental (and I think it must be obvious!).
Dev Team:-
1) New transaction code created ZF10 by which amongst other things should only process the newly created document type ZF.
Myself (Security Team):-
1) All of our document types are defined in OBA7.
2) The specific document type is ZF that we want to restrict access to.
3) In V_TBRG I have defined the custom authorisation group ZDTF against object F_BKPF_BLA.
4) In SU24 I have defined against the custom transaction code ZF10 the authorisation object F_BKPF_BLA to be inserted with Activity values 01, 02, 03; and Authorisation Group ZDTF.
5) Create new role and add ZF10 which then populates the auth object and values above.
What I cant see / understand is how the document type is then restricted to ZF in the role as it isnt defined anywhere that the authorisation group ZDTF only allows access to document type ZF.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. PS Should I have created a new thread for this ?

CK86_99 and CK86: display purchase group and procurement type

Can I insert the purchase group and procurement type in the layout of tcode CK86_99 and CK86 when we have a material item ?
I have seen that we can define the control parameters for the Product Cost Controlling Information System.
Tcode OKN0 but we have only the basic fields and we haven't the specific fields for division.

Hello Marco,
I do not think you have any options to change the layout except for the fields that are available in the transaction screen. It is a standard report and is not a one based on report painter layouts. It would be helpful if you can consult an ABAP person who can throw some light or create a report for you.

Purchasing group sequence and defaults

Folks
We are in SRM 50 and was wondering if anyone has tinkered with the sequence of purchasing groups for a buyer, while creating a shopping cart ? If so, how?
To explain, when the buyer logs in and he/she is responsible for say 4 purchasing groups, the system seems to be sorting purchasing groups based on the organization ID and it assigns the first purchasing group as default (It used to be the last one in the order in EBP 30, before we upgraded). Even this has exceptions at times. How is the sort sequence of the purchasing group determined/controlled?
Any insights would be appreciated.

Actually, it depends on the Organizational chart maintained in the SRM system using PPOMA_BBP transaction. For each company code in SRM, there will be at least one Puchase organization assigned to it, which in turn might be linked with several Purchase groups. (this is what you have maintained in PPOMA_BBP , inside the Extended Attributes section of the main root node of the Organization )
- Well it depends .. sometimes, you might maintain the attributes at every level of the org units.
Anyways, I will try to help you out on the Defaulting Purchasing group logic as well.
Well, until, SRM 4.0, we have noticed, purchasing groups based on the organization ID and it assigns the first purchasing group as default. It is sure.
After SRM 5.0, this purchasing group defaulting is changed to last, as in your case... ( I am not sure.. about this), might be some other reason can be behind this...
Which SRM scenario are you using ?
You can control the Puchasing group by implementing the BADIs.. The Standard SRM system provides various BADIs to get this job done.
Please do read the standard documentation available with them, before writing any code for the custom BADI Implementations.
Refer to the following Business Add-Ins (BADIs) in SE18 Transaction.
BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI
BBP_PGRP_FIND_BADI
In BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI, you can change the already defined Purchasing group, based on your business logic and requirements.
In BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI, you can issue customer error messages incase the Purchasing group selected does not match with the company code, etc.. as per you business requirements.
Similarly, In BBP_PGRP_FIND_BADI, you can make your changes accordingly.

Hello I have a problem that I'm trying to fire a bullet everytime I pressed the spacebar key, but I have this problem that is cropping up.
