Cover flow no longer works

i've been using itunes for at least 5 years; never had a problem or issue come up.. but that all changed yesterday night, Cover Flow stopped working completely!
I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, checked display settings and even reinstalled display drivers...but still nothing.
i know people are also affected by this bug, but still no solution, come on!
anybody know how to fix this? or any clue to what causes this to happen?

Not even clicking on those 2 odd gray lines under the black oval bar?
I dunno, seems like maybe you resized it by mistake yesterday? I'd be desperate to get it back to normal and start clicking on things wildly, if it was my PC....sorry to not be any better help!
edit- or even change your monitor's display resolution?

My cover flow does not work on my 3rd gen 64 gb ipod touch and neither does shake to shuffle.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Cover flow view wont work

I had the same problem. Video worked fine until a couple of weeks ago, then I was unable to play any video in the cover flow window. I tried updating everything (itunes, Quicktime, DirectX) with no luck. Then I turned off DirectDraw acceleration and everything works fine. To do this in Windows, click start/run/then type in dxdiag. Go to the Display tab and click disable next to direct draw acceleration. Worked for me - good luck!

Cover Flow won't work on Windows XP Computer

I have a Windows XP computer (Wanting to get a Mac as soon as I can buy one) and when I was on iTunes I have been trying to use the cover flow option, and it keeps saying "Cover Flow will not work on this computer" and I was wondering if there was anything I could use to fix that?

Try unistalling then reinstalling.

Cover Flow View - NOT working

Hello,
I have a problem with the cover flow view on iTunes. I don't know when this when happened but it was there before I updated to iTunes 10.
This is how it looks:

It's only under Music, if I go to any of my playlist cover flow is working.
So, does anyone know what is going on and how can I make the cover flow work again?

For me this worked:
1) I exported my Library: File -> Library -> Export Library
Saved the .xml file on my desktop.
2) Closed iTunes.
3) I went to /Users/your user/Music/iTunes and deleted the following files:
iTunes Library
iTunes Library Extras.itdb
iTunes Library Genius.itdb
iTunes Music Library.xml
4) Reopened iTunes.
File -> Library -> Import Playlist -> Navigated to my desktop and selected the .xml file from step 1.
5) Waited few minutes (Depends on the library size, I guess. Mine is huge.)

Cover Flow doesn't work in 7115?

I just upgraded iTunes to 7.1.1.5 today, and when I ask it to display in cover flow mode, I get an onscreen message saying that "iTunes cannot browse album covers on this computer." This is odd, because it did so without any complaint before this upgrade. Has anyone got a clue what's going on? Has some Vista-targeted upgrade set a new arbitrary benchmark on what system specifications will support this feature?

Sure enough, it was the absence of enabled directdraw. It's funny; I assume that I know more about computers than my brother, who's a PC gamer, but he would never have a box running without having his video setup tuned to perfection. I just work on my machine, so I hadn't noticed. Thanks again.

Cover Flow doesn't work

My computer crashed and I had to restore all my music from my back up discs. Before my computer crashed, I was able to view my albums on Cover Flow, now I cannot. I get a message that says "unable to view cover flow on this computer."
How can I get cover flow to work??? Help!

Album Cover Flow has stopped working on my MacAir

Hi,
My preferred Screen Saver is I-tunes Album Cover flow which has been working fine. Last week it stopped working with an error message there is no art work in I-tunes, however there is. How do I get it tto start working again?

Thanks for the advice Sberman, however this did not work. There when I click into change the screensaver and test it gives me an error message "Your Itunes library does not have any songs with art work. My library does. This just stopped work?

Cover flow option not working on my computer.

i downloaded & installed the new itunes 7.1 but it's telling me that it can not use the cover flow option with my computer. i click that option and instead of the album artwork i get "itunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer." is there anyway to make it so that it will work? i have windows xp.

Cover flow doesn't work with Nano Firmware update 1.03

Is anybody facing this problem... the cover flow pictures don't show up now.. with firmware 1.03. Even if I re-ad the CD cover images to the songs... somehow or rather it doesn't show up with this firm ware...

Cover Flow Won't Work!!

After updating to the new version 7 iTunes, I am not able to use the cover flow function on one of my two computers. The Mesage "iTunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer" comes up. My computer meets all the requirements for processing and I am able to view my album artwork and movies in everyother window. Also whenever I attempt to view the movie store iTunes closes itself. Please Help!!!!

Cover Flow won't work in iPod view

When I'm viewing the contents of my iPod within iTunes, I can't use Cover Flow - or Browse by List for that matter. The three icons are greyed out. Is this a bug? While my library is a mishmash, my iPod is organized with full albums, so that's where Cover Flow would benefit me most. I'm really bummed out. Can anyone help?

Ever since iTunes 10.2.1 the cover flow doesn't work

Whenever I switch to view cover flow it just removes the whole top section where the Play, FF, Volume buttons etc are...the cover flow doesn't even show up. Which is pretty lame because the -only- reason I am using iTunes is because of the cover-flow. If I wanted to see my album artwork stacked vertically I'd just use WMP instead of apple's insanely awkward interface.
Any tips on what I can do here? I thought 10.2.2 would fix this but alas :-(

Cover Flow doesn't work fine.

After I downloaded video podcasts (Best of youtube) I can't see my albums in Cover Flow. I see my videos! Only when I select an album, the correct picture appears. I also tried to Restore my iPod and after restore, when I downloaded again the podcast, the same error appeared. Furthermore, I tried resetting my iPod and restaring it, but it was useless. Note that this is my first iPod ever and I have it only for 3 days. I am really annoyed! Please help me!
