Cover flow not updating in mavericks

Hi, I've been finding that the finder is a touch buggy in Mavericks, i'm using a brand new iMac with a clean install, and i'm getting all sorts of issues. Coverflow in particular is mis-behaving, If i delete a file, it's still visible in Coverflow. Also, if I open a file from coverflow it tends to open the one next to it!
I also get a strange bug where finder windows close on their own almost like a finder crash, but it doesn't actually take the finder down.
any thoughts?

I spoke with Apple Support and went through all of the possible resolutions with them but none of them worked.
Since this issue was not resolved even after I downloaded Mavericks again and reinstalled it, the issue is almost certainly a bug in the OS and not a result of a corrupt file or some other software conflict.
Hopefully this will be resolved when OSX 10.9.1 is released.

ANYONE HELP?????? Cover Flow not showing my artwork

I have the following problem but only with certain artwork, not all, I added images to all my files before and hardly ever did I get this problem(Cover Flow not showing my artwork), I usually added the same image or another image to make the cover flow "react", so to speak; the funny thing with my problem is that the files in question still have the artwork I put before in the Get info thingy, they appear whenever I see the info tab of the files, and when they're playing, the image shows at the bottom of the playlists list(above the repeat button and that), but the artwork doesn't show in the cover flow (-- =S ???--), no notifications show up about what's happening, and the image file I added is just a regular .JPEG from an album. In fact right now it's playing and the cover flow is still not showing the artwork, luckily this doesn't affect my iPod config and it shows there, but still it seems weird.
Now does this mean the iTunes is having some sort of behavior issues or it just fancies playing with me? =S

*Why is artwork not showing on my iPod when it's there in iTunes?*
iTunes will display a cover in many of it's views provided at least one track from the album has embedded artwork. The iPod appears to load only the artwork from track one to create the cover flow and album views which means that it can sometimes fail to display art for albums even when you can see the art in iTunes. Further, when tracks are played on the iPod, artwork is displayed if and only if it exists in the currently playing track, so track one may show art while track two does not.
*How to find tracks without artwork*
To find all the tracks without artwork so that you can update them you can try http://www.stum.de/itunes-find-tracks-without-artwork/ for Windows or http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=trackswithoutartwork for Macs. Use Google, Amazon, Discogs etc. to locate relevant images. Ideally these should be square, 320x320 pixels or above and borderless to give the best results in the various menus. If you have artwork for some tracks of an album, but not others, find the album in the main music folder, select a track with artwork, right-click (Option-Click for Macs) on the art & click copy, then select all the tracks of the album, use CTRL-I or Command-I to *Get Info* and then paste the image into the artwork box.
I say 320x320 because I believe (from using TouchCopy) that it's the size used in the iPod cache so if you're going to crop or resize you might as well work to that size. Otherwise 200x200 is probably good enough.
*Rebuild artwork cache*
Sometimes the artwork cache becomes corrupt and fails to show correct artwork, even when this is properly set up in iTunes. To rebuild the artwork cache, connect your iPod to iTunes. Locate the iPod in the Sources pane on the left-hand side, then select the Music tab. Remove the tick from *Display album artwork on your iPod*, sync the iPod, reselect the option & sync again.

Finder cover flow not playing .mp4 files

Recently I found the option to play video files while in the cover flow view in a finder window (click on the right pointing arrow that appears when hovering over the thumbnail).
This week when I try playing a video (.mp4 files), I can see that the video is playing but it is not displayed. I know it is playing because I can hear the sound track, can see the reflection of the video below where the display of the video should be and the progress circle works.
MacBook / 10.6.2
Anybody else seeing this? Anyone have a solution?

After upgrading to Lion and iTunes 10.4, cover flow not displaying song playing. Why not?

Since upgrading to Lion and iTunes 10.4, cover flow is not displaying the currently playing song. It will simply display the first cover in the playlist. Also, the screen saver starts during playback, unlike Snow Leopard. Any ideas on how to fix? I have already repaired disk and permissions but problem persists.

I tried restarting my mac and my iphone a bunch of times, reinstalling iTunes after deleting dozens of files, and it didn't help at all.
I re-installed X-Code (had to use Activity Monitor to kill iTunes Helper in the middle of the install) and then my iPhone synced again!

Newsstand cover is not updating

Shuffling genre using cover flow not possible

Hi,
Using iTunes to play music over the home stereo became so much nicer with cover flow, however, you cannot shuffle, for example by genre, when using cover flow. Using list view I selected the genre and shuffle, then switched to cover flow, and it starts shuffling all songs in iTunes and does not stick to the selected genre. I guess this is because it looses the browser even if you don't use full screen mode. I could of course create playlists for all genres but this seems to be excessive use of playlists, especially because it's not necessary for anything else.

Yeah the Cover Flow option is checked when I click it. I have checked it again and it is still checked - but it still appears as the picture shown above.

Album artwork/cover flow not showing up?

I added my own artwork to some of my songs but they are not showing up in cover flow or when I'm playing the songs. Even the songs I didn't add my own artwork to (the iTunes ones), they don't show up either. Help? =P

On iTunes for me, the artwork shows up but not on my iPod. Im not sure why that is...

SO document flow not updated with PR no created

Hi All,
A Purchase Requisitions is created from SO for a line item, i can see the PR generated in report ME5A but not in document flow. Is it a standard behavior or i'm missing something ??

Purchase requisitions are not updated in the document flow, just use SE16 and look at document flow table VBFA. it has 2 fields for document category VBTYP_V and VBTYP_N . If you use F4 on this field then you can see that the PR is not among the possible documents.
Use the status overview button instead and you can see the PR

Document flow not updated?

I have created a inter company Schedule agreement . Then supplying plant have done delivery and PGI against this after doing picking and transfer Order .
Now I am trying to do MIGO at receiving plant. While trying to save it's giving an warning message ''Delivery flow for delivery cannot be update'' .
1. Please expalin why document flow is not updated?
2. What I should do for updating the document flow?

I am creating a Packaged Quotation from Opportunity. After creation of document I see that document flow gets updated in Quotation but in an Opportunity it is not updated (in UI). Whereas in GUI it is being shown correctly. Please help me in resolving this.

I have previously purchased iwork on a cd rom format. After updating to mavericks iwork will not update. How can I fix this

Cover flow not working properly.

When I delete photos from cover flow the file name goes from the list but the photo stays. For example if I now select photo number 20 I am actually viewing photo number 19 and all the following photos are numbered wrongly. The only way to rectify it is to reboot.

I have just found out that I don't have to shut down the computer to rectify this I only need to close finder.

View by cover flow not working in Itunes 8.1

Hi all, I don't know what's Happened but view by cover flow has stopped working for some reason . view by list & view by grid still works but when i goto select view by cover flow, all I get is a blank screen where the albums should be & a empty space at the bottom. When I first installed Itunes & Quick time, view by cover flow was working. I havent used it tho for a couple of weeks then thought i'll try it again & now nothing. Is there a fix I can try to get it back to the way it was before it stopped working? It doesn't affect the use of Itunes in any way, (I can still sync to my 32gig Ipod touch no problem) but as I do use view by cover flow, I miss it & having to use view by grid & the moment (just means a double click on the album to see the tracks that's all), Yes all my drivers & directx are up to date & Itunes & quicktime are the latest versions. Cheers

So I found out how to clean this up. Make sure to replace "USER_NAME" with the right account name.
1. Remove Itunes, Quicktime, and Apple Mobile device Support.
2. Reboot PC
3. Delete C:\Program Files\Itunes Directory
4. Delete C:\Document and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\Apple Computer
5. Delete C:\Document and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer
6. Delete C:\Document and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple
7. Reboot
8. Reinstall Itunes
This reset all of the settings and brought back the cover flow as well as keeping my existing files.
Obviously there was a easier way of doing this.. but a full clean install helps.

Cover Flow not visible

Somehow the bottom columns of my cover flow window got pushed all the way up and all I'm left with is a tiny black bar. I've clicked around and can't find a handle to pull it back down and resetting safari didn't fix it either.
Any suggestions?
