Cover flow view does not work

When I open iTunes and try to use cover flow view it says: "iTunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer."
What can I do do get this to work? The artwork shows up everywhere else, except here.

Help viewer does not work after update to 10.4.4

Since updating to 10.4.4 my Help viewer does not work, and all of the troubleshooting fixes suggested in other threads have not had any success in resolving this. I've noted that when I go to Users>Library>Documentation>Help there is no mac.help file - can someone tell me if that means that I've lost the file altogether and need to reinstall it? I get to the first screen of the viewer, but the links from there don't work. Thanks for any help that you can provide!

Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded OnyX and ran the cleaning function. After restarting, I opened Help and once again the first screen appeared fine. But again most of the links did not work, though those under the "What's New" heading did work. I might add that I had previously tried a variety of suggestions posted in another thread, which included deleting from the caches folder in Home>Library several files such as com.apple.helpui and help.plist in the Preferences folder. (As noted in my previous post this evening, I also created another user but that also did not have any effect.) Any other ideas? Thanks

In Hyperion Planning, smart view does not work

In Hyperion Planning, when viewing the form , the link icon to Smart View (to view the data in Smart View) at the top of the screen does not work.
When I clicked on smart view icon on the top of the screen, Excel opened but there were no connection showed in excel and not able to forms in smart view.
Please assist ASAP. Any one can pls help me on this issue.

Album View and Cover Flow View are not available in iTunes 7

Hi,
When I connect my iPod, in the iTunes 7, the options for Album view and Cover Flow View are disabled for the song list on my iPod. I only have a list view for them. However, at the same time, the songs on the library can be viewed in any of the three (3) views.
What might be the possible reason and is there any options to view your iPod songs in Cover Flow View in iTunes (while it is connected)?
Please solve this query of mine.

Yep, looks like a bug: 423654.
Support for long long's are not new to 2013, by the way. They've been supported since 2009, as long as you enabled the C99 extensions option.

Quick view does not work in itunes genius recommendations

I have the lastest iTunes software and the lastest IOS and I cannot get it to work anymore.

How to solve this problem?
What does "does not work" mean? Crashes on opening? Plays audio but not video? Plays video but not audio? Won't load the file? Won't play on-line content? What file extension are you trying to play? What compression formats are involved? Which QT Player?
A question mark usually indicates the app decision filtering has fallen through and the app doesn't know what to do. It needs the user to look at the file/system configuration and "fix" something.

Cover Flow in Music not working at all, please assist

Hi there, I bought an iPhone 4 yesterday and updated to IOS 5 as soon it was plugged into the computer. I have noticed that when I am in the Music app, when I turn the phone to landscape, it does not switch to Cover Flow. It just stays in portait, no change. Obviously not an ESSENTIAL feature, but one I enjoy very much with my iPod, and one that I know should come with the phone. I image the solution is to revert to IOS 4, but I'd like to avoid that. Any solutions?

Is portrait orientation locked? Double tap home button and slide to the right until you see the last icon on the left. If this is locked, tap it and hopefully cover flow will work.

Design View Does Not Work

The design view of my DW CS3 version 9 on Mac OS X does not
function. Normally I wouldn't care, but this problem prevents me
from viewing/testing the design-time style sheets that I am
required to build for end-users. I have tried remedies cited in
various posts, but none help. I have tested the problem, by using
the exact same files (pages and design-time css) on an install of
MX2004 on another machine, and they all work fine from there. But I
really don't want to use that other machine, or MX2004 for
developing the design-time stylesheets. Please advise.

Post a link to a page that doesn't display for you on OSX,
please.

BPM Worklist: Searching in custom views does not work for protected flexfields !

Hello,
Have mapped few protected attributes in my .task file. Also created the corresponding labels on target SOA server. I am able to create custom views using these protected flex fields.
But what I have observed is keyword based search is not working for custom views using protected fiexfields.. however it works fine with public fiexfields.
Any pointers on this? Am I missing something in the configuration?

The default PDF viewer does not work

I understand Firefox has a default PDF viewer, but it is not working on my Mac OS 10.6.8. When I click on a pdf document, nothing happens.

When you click a link to a PDF you get a blank page, or a black background with an empty progress bar, or you get absolutely nothing at all?
Can you try changing your setting as described in the following article to launch the PDF outside Firefox and see whether that works? After that test, you can change back and try the internal viewer again. [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]]

PREDICTION JOIN OPENQUERY against data source view does not work

I am trying to follow the example in this link:

to do a prediction join with a table defined in a data source view of our cube/mining structures. No matter how I specify the table in the OPENQUERY statement I get: "OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Invalid object name 'DataSourceView.dbo.TableName'.;
42S02." I've tried specifying the table name in 1, 2, and 3 parts, with and without the '[]' brackets but get the same error every time. I thought something might be wrong with the table in the DSV so tried putting other tables in the query,
but that produces the same error. Any ideas on the problem?

I want to be able to query a data source view table/named query. This TechNet article seems to imply it is as simple as running the following in a DMX window:
     OPENQUERY ([MyDatasourceView],'select Column1 from DataSourceTable')
I've also tried:
     select * from OPENQUERY ([MyDatasourceView],'select Column1 from DataSourceTable')
Both result in:
    "Query (1, 1) Parser: The syntax for 'OPENQUERY' is incorrect."
Can we query a DSV table from a DMX query directly with OPENQUERY, or does the OPENQUERY only work within a PREDICTION JOIN? Seems like such a simple case for it not to work.

Numbers 3.2 and Dropbox viewer does not work

Hi,
I upgraded to OS Maverick 9.2 and also to Numbers 3.2
I have quite a lot of numbers files in Dropbox
So far, I was was able to view them within Dropbox on my iPhone.
After using these files with Numbers 3.2 on my Mac, Dropbox is unable to view these files on iPhone 5 /iOS 7.
I purchased the iOS Applications Numbers 3.2 in the hope it would help but nothing work because there is no link between Dropbox & the numbers applications.
I bought this app and it will not be useful to me.
Numbers 3.2 also has important regression such as the category feature which I use extensively.
The result is that my files have because unusable outside my Mac, and on my Mac, I've lost the category feature leading to extra works and difficulties.
What a bad experience!

Default pdf Viewer does not work correctly

On this pdf, page 1 will not display, but displays fine in IE and Chrome. If you download the pdf, it displays just fine. So the issue is definitely FireFox, here is the url:

On this pdf, the Firefox has added grey boxes around the images. These boxes do not appear in IE or Chrome or when you download the file, here is the url:

Problems these are all throughout my client's website with a library of over 700 pdfs. This is causing major issues. Please tell me you are aware of these issues and already working on a fix, otherwise, I will have no choice but to put a disclaimer on the website to not use FireFox, which would look bad to the client and FireFox.
Please advise as soon as you can.

We are seeing thiss isue on Windows 7 PC's running current revs of FireFox.

We have this problem as well. Unfortunately after years of only supporting IE and finally rewriting our site to be standards compliant we are going to have to force users back to IE because of this issue. It's not feasible for us to walk users through changing the default viewer. The default should stay Adobe (if installed) until a more robust native version is available. I understand you want to promote free and open tools but if they don't work, it's just not good enough.

Saving layer visibility as views does not work - CS5 for Windows

I've read about it multiple places, even watched a video where it supposedly works. But when I toggle layer visibility and save as a new view, it doesn't seem to work.

Layer Visibility Variables – A short introduction
1. Open a new document and name Layer 1 "Cyan"
2. Add three main layers and name them "Magenta", "Yellow" and "Black"
3. On each layer draw a shape and colour it according to the Layer's name.
4. Save the file as "My_first_Variables.ai"
5. Target Layer "Cyan" (click the circle at the right hand of the Layer's name)
6. At the bottom of the Variables Palette click the Make Visibility Dynamic button
Now you've created your first Layers Visibility Variable. Continue with
7. Target Layer "Magenta" and click the Make Visibility Dynamic button in the Variables Palette
8. Target Layer "Yellow" and click the Make Visibility Dynamic button in the Variables Palette
9. Target Layer "Black" and click the Make Visibility Dynamic button in the Variables Palette
Done. You have created four Layers Visibility Variables. The next step is to define the Data Sets:
1. Layers Palette: Show Layer "Cyan" and hide all other layers
2. Variables Palette: Click the Capture Data Set button (the camera icon)
3. Layers Palette: Show Layer "Magenta" and hide all other layers. Now in the Variables Palette the first Data Set becomes italic indicating that you can create an new Data Set. So click the Capture Data Set button to define Data Set 2.

5. Variables Palette: Click the Capture Data Set button to create Data Set 3
6. Show Layer "Black" and hide all other layers. Click the Capture Data Set button to create Data Set 4

Done. You have created five Data Sets. Just play around by toggling them in the Variables Palette (Next/Previous Data Set button or via Popup menu/Flyout menu) and see one feature among other things: The Variables Palette as a remote control of the Layers Palette. Now it's time to create some simple Save/Export actions in order to Batch save/export Layers as single files. For example:
Export as PSD
1. Open any file
2. Actions Palette: Create new action and name it "Export Layers as PSD"
3. File > Export as PSD. Choose any destination folder, the desired options in the Photoshop Options dialog and hit Enter
4. Click the Stop Recording button in the Actions Palette and disable the Show dialog icon (on the left hand of the action's name)
Save as PDF

3. File > Save as PDF. Choose any destination folder, the desired options in the PDF Options dialog and hit Enter

Now start the Batch command:
1. Switch to the original "My_first_Variables.ai"
2. Actions Palette Flyout menu: Batch
3. In the Play Area choose the Export Layers as PSD action
4. Choose Data Sets as the source
5. In the Destination Area enable the Override Action Export Commands option and choose any destination folder
6. Choose an option for the File name and hit Enter to start the Batch
Done. All four Layers plus the fifth Data Set have been exported as single Photoshop files. Repeat the Batch with the Save Layers as PDF action (don't forget to enable the Override Action Save Commands) and, of course, create your own actions, experiment with other file formats, figure out some harmless bugs especially in conjunction with the PDF compatible AI format when placing in InDesign.

The "next" button of crystal report viewer does not work

I use crystal report viewer control to show my crystal report on my aspx page.
like:

however when I try to navigate to next page by click "Next" arrow button on the crystal report viewer toolbar, it only can navigate to the page 2, whatever I click the "Next" button, it still stay on page 2,
actually this report has 10 pages.
On the other hand, if I input the page number, such as 5 on the "goto" textbox, it will jump to page 5 correctly.
Could you give me any good advices to solve this problem?
