Cover or case ?

I Need help deciding between a smart case and a asmart cover.

I hate to be the Apple naysayer, but the I think that the Smart Cover and Smart Case are too much money for the protection that they offer. Both the Lifeproof Case and the OtterBox Defender are excellent choices, IMO. My wife has the Lifeproof case on her iPhone and I have Otterbox Defender cases on my iPad and iPhone. I have literally kicked my phone across the street a couple of times when getting out of my car, and the OB saved it from disaster.
No matter which brand that you decide to go with, I recommend a case over a cover any day.

There is no one right answer -- it's like asking what kind of car you should buy.
The smart cover only convers the front. The smart case has the front cover and adds covering for the back and sides.
Whether you should get a wireless keyboard depends on how much typing you do, as well as how easy or difficult it is for you to use the on-screen keyboard.

Print cover for case?

Is there a way to print a cover for the DVD case (similar to the print function in iTunes)?
Ideally would like to print the theme of the project.

unfortunately, there's no 'Print' command in iDVD (hey, Apple!)
but: you can easiely do a screen grab Apple-shift-4 and 'select with the hair-cursor the 'theme' window, for usage in any paint/pic/layout processor...-
only prob: themes are 'widescreen', DVD cases usually are 'portrait'.

We only know what information Apple has released. The only real thing released is iOS 6 will be out in the Fall. We have heard no official announcement as to the date of that release, nor have we received any announcement of the release of a new iPhone, no matter what they want to call it. Your decision to purchase a phone has to be based on your need at the time and what is available.

Is there a cover or case for ipad 1 that includes a screen protector

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a case that includes a screen cover attached to it? I've got a gel cover on the back but I have a problem with the screen protectors that adhere to the screen as I can never get rid of the air bubbles no matter how hard I try. If there isn't a case then can someone tell me how to the screen protector on without the bubbles?

Why buy separate instead?

IPad2 cover vs case

When I get my iPad2, I will be taking it with me while traveling. Are there protective carrying cases that are good for air travel and if I get one do I still need to get the smart cover?

For everyday transport I carry my iPad in this small neoprene bag (black with blue lining) from BuiltNY:

I like the hands-free aspect of this and also the protection against the elements.
It has six pockets, two large (one holds a wireless keyboard (in a slipcase from SF Bags) and a file when I have one, and I put the iPad in the other) and four small (Kindle, iPhone, powercord, stylus and cleaning cloth).
Then, for field work I can also put the iPad (with the Smart Cover still on) into this neoprene "hoodie" case which has a rigid molded back and sides (also black with blue lining):

The hoodie case offers reasonable protection against falls.And I can still fit the iPad plus Smart Cover plus hoodie case into the neoprene messenger bag.
Think of it as belt plus suspenders plus another set of suspenders . . . .

My iPad air does not have an lock on/off toggle for the smart cover ipad cases.

Last week I received my new at&t 64gb iPad air. (This is my 3rd iPad. 2nd that, I assume, can use a smart cover style ipad case.) Although I have not purchased a new cover for it yet. I could not help but notice that in the Settings/general there is no "Lock" on/off toggle for the magnetic cover as ther is on my iPad3. does anyone know if there is supposed to be one on the ipad air or did apple do away with the toggle altogether?
Any help would be appreciated.

Settings > General > Lock/Unlock shoud still appear.
You must be running iOS 7 (which you presumably are doing on an iPad Air). And you should be using a Smart Cover or Smart Case made by Apple. Third party covers/cases may well not function.

U400 base cover bottom case

Hi,
I noticed small gaps between the bottom cover and the body of the keyboard since last month. This laptop is still under warranty. I went to the service center and they claimed that it's physical damage by improper usage. But this laptop has no accident at all, no drop, or anything severe which can cause this damage. The exterior outlook is good, no scratch or any kink at all. So, i read so many posts and seems like Y series has problems with the hinges and they are covered under warranty. Comparatively, hinges which are being used everyday to open the top is covered under warranty, yet the bottom which is basically not a moving part is not covered, eventhough it's not caused by me. If hinges can be considered as manufacturing quality issue, why the thing holding the base to the body are not? Please help.

No solution at all. Same with you. Talked to service center and they said it's physical damage. I have argued with them but still received same answer from Main HQ. It's very disappointing that Lenovo making such a lousy quality parts and when got faulty, said it's physical damage. Gonna buy new laptop but surely won't be Lenovo anymore.

During my visit there, another guy brought in his laptop and his left hinge got sound when open up the lid. Again, Lenovo said it's physical damage. The guy also explained that he did not do any abnormal thing other than everyday use. Still same answer. Then he asked "if Lenovo not going to repair or replace, can I take to outside and repair? Will it void my warranty, since the warranty not yet expire? If I do not repair, the hinge will come off one of these days and the damage will be more. Then repair cost will be much higher than now. But if it void the warranty, then how? The person that he talked to not able to answer. Because no matter what you do, the customer is the lose party. So, I gave up.

Familiar w/ the Battery Case IPad 2 Juice Cover?

Has anyone tried the Battery Case IPad 2 Juice Cover by Foward Industries? I bought one & it does seem to double the battery life, but I'm wondering if it might "over charge" the IPad battery? It says it has an on-off switch, but it always seems to be "on" until the charge is gone.

I didn't know batteries were circuitry protected. People keep telling me I'll ruin my device by keeping it charged longer. But this device doesn't prevent the charge going down, it just prolongs the charge. Charging with silicone case?

Is it really a problem if charging the ipod mini in the silicone case? There's a slot for it at the bottom to plug in the cord, but looking at the ipod site, it says not to charge when it is in a cover or case. It is just a hassle to take off the silicone case, so whats wrong with charging with the case?

sometimes the iPod can heat up while charging and leaving it in a case increases the risk of higher internal temperatures...just a precaution.

How to design a EJB session beans for a example ERP case study?

Hello to everyone,
We have a huge dilemma on how to organize our Beans to support the use case in an information system such as ERP.
In the use case user after logded in selecting one of the organization and specific sector that works for. (Background logic check relations between user and organizations, user rights, organization states ets.) After the selection of organizations and sectors, users all the time working with these parameters calling different modules of ERP systems and different activities.
According to the logic of things, to keep certain parameters we should use a Stateful Beans.
On the other hand, becouse of performance reasons and our need to open a business logic with a service (REST) we woud like to use Stateless Beans. But it is not acceptable to us every time we send the selected organization and the sector.
It would be ideal if they could are using an Stateless Beans and that they can somehow to access something like "SessionContext in Web applications", where the logged user kept details of the selected parameters.
We studied many tutorials, but all are based on simple examples, which do not cover our case.
Are there any best practice recommendations on how to solve the problems of a similar type?

Macbook 2009 case help

Hey guys, I want to buy this keyboard cover / hard case for my 2009 Macbook (its a 13.3 inch). It says its for a 13.3 inch Macbook pro, will it fit? I saw some listings for similiar covers that specifically said it wouldnt fit but this particulary one doesn't say anything at all. I don't want to waste any money, I just can't get a for sure answer if it will fit or not. Thanks for any help,

As the A1181 is a little taller and a rather less streamlined shape compared to the Pro models, I would strongly suggest that this case is not going to fit. If possible you need to find one that states that it is made for the A1181.

A case for ipod U2

Sometime ago i saw on the Ipod store a case only for Ipod U2 edition,so the autograph on the back of the ipod U2 edition remain visible. I've just looked for it in all the apple store but i can't find it, moreover in the list I cannot find the general description of the Ipod - U2 special edition (20Gb)...
What can I do?

if I get it right, you are looking for a transparent cover or case for your iPod U2, I bought a transparent case including stand and dock at www.arktis.de, produced by "Speck Products". My case is for iPod 3rd generation, but probably you will find one for your model as well.

Lenovo Flex 2 14: How to remove the compartment cover?

I've got the new Lenovo Flex 2 14 with a 500 gb HHD. Now I want to upgrade to a ssd.
The problem is that the hardware maintenance manual does not specify how to remove the compartment cover in case of the flex 2 14, which has no optical drive like the flex 2 15.
I removed the screws that secure the compartment cover, but there is no way to remove the cover. Does anyone had the same problem and found a solution?
I'd be very grateful for any tips!

In addition to the screws around the compartment cover, have you also removed the screws underneath the keyboard?
