CP1025 wrong colors or blank pages after first page

Hello,
Our company have 3 cp1025 printers. 2 of them get a problem (almost at same time) which can be described like this:
-printing wrong colors, colors are mixed, for example indeed black color prints blue and it is colorless. This does not happen for first page, further pages only.
-printing blank pages. First page always printed perfectly, further pages are blank.
We can't find a problem. Tried to change new drum, drivers, we are working on Win XP and Win 7. Can you say something about this problem?

HP 2550 Color Laser Jet stops after first page

I've uninstalled the old drivers and reinstalled new ones for Snow Leopard, but my 2550 crashes after printing page 1 of a document from any of several programs. The red alert light comes on, as if there were a paper jam (there isn't). I have to open and close the front door and wait while it goes through its startup routine. Then it may print page 2 only to crash again, or it may simply crash without printing anything. Is anybody else experiencing anything like this with HP printers?
I have to say, I totally regret installing Snow Leopard. My Adobe CS3 programs crash regularly (Premiere is almost unusable). QuickTime Player X and Player 7 (you have to have two now) no longer recognize the TOD files from my JVC camcorder. The best available fix for that is iVerio for Leopard ($75), which is quite unstable on Snow Leopard. I recognize that Adobe is being greedy, JVC is being stupid and HP is living in some Windows-centric dreamworld, but this is ridiculous. I love Apple, but they can't just point fingers at everybody else this time. In my experience, Snow Leopard is a disaster.

Thanks, Barry. Sorry for the rant, but this has been a highly frustrating upgrade -- a first with Apple for me. Part of my frustration is that I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in several times, in several different ways, but the problem persists. I'm not trying to be argumentative or accusatory about this, and your larger point is well taken. But several of the most important things I use my computer for have been disabled by this upgrade, and I had no idea that was coming. The only issue I'm looking for help with right now is printing. My printer is supposed to be supported, but I can't make it work in several days of trying. I'm just looking for a workaround. (Rant alert: Why does HP make fifty or more different printers that all do basically same thing but require unique drivers?) I guess maybe I have to repost my question under an assumed name when I calm down. But thanks for responding, Barry.

Issues after upgrading to SP2 mm: Blank page first page.

Hello, ever since upgrading to mm sp2 on .net 2008 I been having an issue. I created a new project and everything done by the books. When I run the report through the browser everything initially seems normal, it asks for input parameters then login info. When the report is ready to be displayed, the page is blank but has all the Crystal toolbars and such. If i were to perform an action like hit the zoom button, the report will magically be displayed! It seems the viewer has an issue initially rendering the report until I hit something on the toolbar like the zoom button. I just zoom in 100% and the report displays! Anyone have this issue and know how to resolve it?
If I were to export this blank page to PDF, the report will be displayed on the PDF correctly. just strange.

Copy the CrytalReportViewers12 folder from your development computer to the \aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727 in the IIS default website.
If you are using ReportRefresh, comment that out.
Try a different Browser like Firefox.
Are you browsing from the work station or from the Server? Can you try it from the Server?
Try a new test app. Run a saved data report (Crviewer1.reportsource). Do not use sessions or postbacks. Does this test app work?

Blank page after file upload

Hello,
we are facing problem with Apex Listener 2.0 connecting to Apex 4.1.1. The Apex Listener is deployed on Tomcat. Almost everything works correctly, with one exception - uploading files. After uploading file, blank page with url http://server:8062/apex/wwv_flow.accept is displayed and stuck there. The file, however, uploads successfuly. The same functionality (using the same page) works correctly when used without Apex Listener.
No error messages can be found, neither in Tomcat log nor in Apex Listener log.
I've experimented with several configurations uploaded from Listener admin in SQL Developer or minimal configurations from samples - this is my current config:

As I saw in other thread, blank pages are most commonly caused by mismatched static files - however my i/apex_version.txt matches the server version, so I don't suspect that to be the case.
Would you have any ideas on what to check or what could possibly be wrong?

thank you all for help. It turns out that it was indeed issue with the code itself. It's strange that it doesn't manifest without Apex Listener, but it was incorrect code.
I'm a system administrator (not a programmer) and I assumed that since the only change to the system was added Listener, it must be a problem with incorrect configuration - I was wrong :-)
When I tried replicating the problem on apex.oracle.com, I noticed that After Processing branch redirecting to another page was completely missing from our code. When I removed the branch from apex.oracle.com, it stopped working (logically) too - the solution was therefore to add After Processing branch redirecting to some other page with "include process success message" checked.
I still don't understand how it could have worked without Apex Listener in the first place :-)

Cannot print -- random text & blank pages when printing -- HP Color Laserjet 3600N

I'm having some trouble connecting my computer and printer via a network connection. The printer functions fine among other computers (Mac, PC) connected via a network connection, but one particular MacBook is giving me trouble.
I can get the printer and laptop to connect, however when I try to print, it gets buggy on me. Usually it will print a page with some random text, followed by an excess amount of blank pages, then another page with text similar to the first. The text usually has information including font types and other formatting data, but not what was "printed."
I have tried to update the printer drivers, but I cannot get the printer utility to utalize them. After installing the most recent drivers, it will continue to suggest the generic laser printer drivers (1.0 verison), or I can choose other printer drivers (including "base" 3000 model drivers), but the 3600N drivers are not avalible on the list. Both the generic drivers and the HP drivers give me the random text upon printouts.
The laptop is a MacBook Pro with 10.6.
What is the best course of action to remedy the printer problem?

Over the holidays, I spent a couple of hours on the phone with HP, a couple with Microsoft, and previously with Apple. Microsoft said they are working on updates, should be fixed by the release of Office 2008. Apple says there's a compatibility issue among the HP printer and Leopard and "some" programs. HP tells me it's an "old" printer (which they were happy to sell me in April 2007) and they may not release new drivers. HP also says Apple knows there are printing issues.
In the meantime, I'm using Pages and shopping for a new non-HP printer.

Blank Page appears after converting MS Word (2010 on Win 7) document to PDF using Adobe Acrobat XI

Even after updating to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (11.0.2). While converting a MS Word 2010 .docx format document to .pdf, the cover page with text, image and background color, appears blank with only the background color.
Apperciate if someone can give me a resolution for this issue.

The coverpage gets converted in Acrobat.com cloud service. Is Abobe going to fix this bug in the Acrobat XI version too?

Unwanted Blank Page When Table At Bottom of First Page

I have an RTF template which has a table with the typical for loop as the row generator and a totals row after that. There are no line breaks after the table, and the table's paragraph is set to single line spacing with 0 pt spacing before and after.
When the table reaches the bottom of the first page, but does NOT go onto the next page, there is a blank page at the end of the report. Any ideas on how to eliminate this?

I have an rtf template which is used to print output in pdf format. I have a table which has many rows which displays data for each record. In order to avoid breaking the page in between the rows of a record , i have added an outer table with single row and column and pasted the data table inside it and changed the row property of outer table to 'Allow Rows to Break Across Pages' to unchecked. It works fine only if the first record set length does not exceed a full page. IF the first record expanded to more than one page, it leaves a blank page at the very first and start the record at the second page. Can you please advise how to solve this issue. Its very URGENT please..

All of a sudden I can't print anything on my macbook. I am directly connected to a printer where i had printed before now if I hit print it just gives me blank pages with websites header? any ideas what went wrong?

I just started having issues printing with my macbook when before I had no problem. same printer, nothing has changed. when I try to print it just prints me blank pages with internet headers even WHEN i am not printing off the internet, simply pdf documents. any idea what I am doing wrong or what changed?

Welcome to the Support Communities!
The first thing I would suggest is to shut down your computer and turn off your printer. Then do the reverse -- turn the printer on first, then your computer. If the issue still persists:
Check to make sure there are no jobs waiting to be printed. (Apple Menu > System Preferences > Printers & Scanners)

CS3 blank pages are in wrong places!

I am creating a 24 page booklet. I have all my pages in the correct order, including where I want the 2 blank pages. In the pages panel, my first two pages are numbered 24,1 for my cover. I have checked Print Blank Pages in my printer settings. When I preview the booklet, a message tells me it has added 2 blank pages and my printing order is messed up!!! I cannot figure it out. This is a booklet for a high school soccer banquet and I am under a deadline. Will anyone help, please? THANKS

Patricia, I have seen this happen before. Even after checking all Print Booklet Setup criteria was set correctly for my printer. The one thing that resolved my problem, the document I was working with had nothing on the master pages. But if I placed an item (like a white box) on the master pages, the Print Booklet and its preview worked correctly.

FDF problem after 8.2.2 MSP upgrade (blank page)

Hi all,
in our enterprise environment we use FDF to dinamically populate PDF files on our site and we also distribute Adobe Reader via GPO to our Active Directory computers. We had no problems with 8.2.1 (and of course previous versions too) so we know how to follow the MSI / MSP / MST procedure.
With the latest 8.2.2 we have done the same old procedure but we finally had computers that, after installing the new version, couldnt open this PDF (FDF populated) on their browsers: users received a blank page tryin to opening the document, while they had no problems opening in the browser PDF documents that were not FDF-generated (we have other documents that are static or crystal reports based and they all work).
We then started troubleshooting in order to identify if the problem was related to 8.2.2 version or to something in the MSI deployment procedure.
This is what we found:
1) a clean 8.2.0 (or 8.2.1) installation, updated to 8.2.2 via the Adobe Updater worked correctly, so the problem was not generally related to 8.2.2 but to the MSI deployment procedure
2) we noticed that we have wrongly applied 8.2.2 msp to 8.21 patched msi and that this was not correct, so we recreated the MSI package applying 8.2.2 msp patch to 8.2.0 original msi -> nothing changed, blank page
3) we tried to install it without using a MST customization file -> still no luck, blank page
4) we tried to install 8.2.0 and 8.2.2 by running separately the 8.2.0 MSI and the 8.2.2 MSP -> it worked
So, it seems that the problem is when you create the new 8.2.2 MSI starting from 8.2.0 MSI + 8.2.2 MSP (if you run this kind of MSI without using a GPO the result is FDF not working, so it's not specifically related to GPO)
Has anyone experienced this kind of problem in his/her enterprise environment? Can somebody from Adobe verify this and give us some advice about how to proceed in order to deploy 8.2.2 to our enterprise base? We've temporarily reverted to previous version but of course we need to find a solution.
We're also thinking about moving to 9.x release but we're not sure that the problem is not present in that version too.

I applied the 8.2.2 reader patch to an 8.2.0 ITA Reader AIP created via command mentioned by you (i.e. with the /qb switch) and installed it on my machine.
Could not reproduce the issue you have mentioned and I am able to view FDF files without any problem (they are not blank).
There's something else that's causing this problem. It would be helpful if you could provide the MSI log of the installation.
To enable MSI logging on your system set the registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer\]

Blank page after installation :1158/em

Hi,
I am trying to install the O-DB 10.2 on WINDOWS SERVER 2003.
I am using the documentation on: file://///192.168.11.55/e$/DB_10.2_extracted/B19306_01/install.102/b14316/reqs.htm
I have installed the loopback adapter because it was giving an error when installing the DB for the first time.
Since the computer does not have a domain I gave the IP-address found with command: ipconfig; section "ethernet adapter local area connection"
Then I have installed the DB and when I want to open the browser URL, given by the install manager: http://hostname.domain:1158/em
it just shows a blank page.
the page ~:5560/isqlplus opens (although it seems I cannot login. But when I open a "command prompt" window and enter "sqlplus" and then enter the values it does connect)
So I have stopped after chapter 3.4 of the documentation, because I have got the blank page.
Can anybody help please? or is that normal?

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.

After i add an exception for the site, i get this:

And then a blank page with big letters "Not Found"

Do NOT add a security exception: someone is tampering with your internet connection!
When you ask to connect to these sites using https, Firefox gets a certificate from the website which responds. Anyone can make a certificate, but to be valid the certificate must be signed by an organization which Firefox trusts.
The person responding provided a certificate with its response which which was not signed by anybody, so Firefox doesn't know who sent the response, and neither do you.
In short: you asked to talk to google and google did NOT send the response.
As this is happening for several different websites, the attacker is probably on the network between your computer and the internet. Ask the people you get your internet connection for help: they may have had their computers hacked, may discover that the problem exists further along in the network, or they may even be responsible themselves.

Blank page after adding portlet from sample provider

Hi All,
Homepage not appearing after Login, tried adding Sample portlet to HomePage!
I managed to configure and register the JPDK's Sample portlet provider as per the installation instructions.After configuration i tried the URL "http://yourserver/servlets/sample" and i got "Congratulations! You have successfully reached your Provider's Test Page"
Then tried to add a sample portlet (Hellow Worls portlet) to one of the regions of the my homepage using the Navigator.
Now, I'm not able to navigate to the home page after logging in from the portal Welcome page.
I'm just seeing a blank page after login.
This is the error i got in jserv.log file

Yes. I selected yes to Require Proxy .
But no use. Where i'm doing wrong.
Under Proxy settings in Global seeting i've given the following info.
HTTP Server : alpha
HTTP Server :80
No Proxy Servers for Domains beginning with ALPHA
URL Connection Time-Out (seconds) :0
and in the provider edit page i set Require Proxy to 'YES'

HP 6510 printing only blank pages after changing print cartridges

Hi,
My HP 6510 is printing only blank pages after I installed new print ink cartridges. I tried cleaning the print heads, aligning the printer... which did result in some pages printing with a little color (but it seemed "off" to me). That said, when I try to print a regular document from my PC it only prints a blank page.
I can't seem to figure this one out on my own - please help!

The document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart 6510. Be sure the cartridges are vented as shown in solution two.
Is your printer still in warranty? You can check with HP's warranty tool here.
