CP6 Powerpoint Hi Fidelity Some Graphics Missing!

Hi,
I am so frustrated.....Have been using CP a lot since cp4 and am very experienced. I have a PPTX with animations. I imported into CP6 not usin HiF and everything worked fine but the HTML5 output was missing the graphics altogether. So I switched and re imported as Hi Fi and now the graphics are there, but not animated (see other discussion post).
The issue I am having now is that in my SWF version, yes, even in just preview mode, SOME of the images from my PPT are missing. Any idea what is going on or how to fix it? I have tried changing the slide resolution to high, jpeg and optimized. Nothing helps. Oh please send advice!!!

You're right. I published my movie for flash player 8, and
some objects just disappear when they ran on flash player 7.
The problem was the version of the plugin.

Some graphics missing in Firefox - help!

I have made my own page navigation links and have made them into objects by adding a virtually invisible shadow. I did this as I wanted to use an unusual font.
I actually wanted the text to have a visual shadow too, but it does not look good in Firefox and doesn't show in Internet Explorer. To get around this, I put a dark copy of each word underneath a bright copy, to give the impression of a shadow.
When the page is viewed in Safari, Chrome, even IE, my text buttons work fine. In Firefox, some of the top layers of the buttons disappear... leaving just my 'shadows' behind... Oddly, this doesn't happen for all of them, just a slight majority.
Anyone got any ideas about how to get around this?

Try combining the two layers into one image file as described in Old Toad's Tutorial #7 - Converting Photos w/Frames, Drop Shadows and/or Reflections into a Single JPG Image. That should get rid of the Firefox problem and reduce the number of individual files needed to load for the page.

Chunks of graphics missing

G'day folks,
I have written a program which uses a gui, which is a number of JTabbedPanes with JPanels etc, I have the repaint() in there and the program works beautifully on the 8 different computers that I have tested it on which runs from a P150 on Win98SE to a P1.7 on XP, all have jre1.4.1_01, I am having trouble with one particular computer which is a dell P!!!833 with 256 MBRAM running on WinMe. When you click on any tab, the titles of the other tabs dissappear and chunks of graphics go missing (sometimes textfields, labels, whole/parts of panels), I have run it from the command line and there is no exceptions thrown when this is happening so I don't think it is a problem with the program(plus the fact that it works perfectly on 8 other computers). I dug through the archives and found a reference to problems with sony viao products whcih people reported as having problems with getting the blue death screen and they decided that this was due to some of the ATI chips and the 3d graphics in java not working coherently, however the symptoms are different, there is no blue death screen only chunks of graphics missing.
The said computer runs all windows based programs flawlessly, it is only with java (but there are no exceptions thrown, which is wierd cause I've written stuff where there are graphics errors e.g. making a tabbedpane as the contentpane and then when you switch between tabs you get a whole buch of paintcomponent errors etc - there is none of this).
I've basically narrowed it down to being a problem with this one computer and was wondering if anyone could maybe shed some light on the more technical systems networking or any other suggestions!
the said computer has an ATI mobility Rage 128 graphics chip.

If it runs fine on 8 other computers, that should pretty much tell ya there's some problem with the video of the problem machine.
A simple test is to right-click on screen and bring up screen Properties, go into Settings, then Advanced, then Troubleshooting panel and turn "Hardware Accelaration" all the way down.
Usually that will fix such problems, and if it does, points to a problem in the video drivers having bugs in that machine. If that does fix it, you can try updating the Video drivers and see if that works.

Why are some graphics beside my bookmarks just a white box outlined in black

I am looking for an App that gives me some graphics to title pages and margins in word documents

I am looking for an App that gives me some graphics for Word 2011 title pages, and margins. A range of screen backgrounds for the page would be useful as my word documents are sent mostly online. ...appropriate for business topics.

I use documents to go and find that it works very will. It also has a desktop program that will allow for wifi syncing of documents outside of iTunes. It, like any app, won't have all the bells and whistles and formatting goodies of a full fledged program, but it does have basic formatting (bold, underline, italics, indents)
I don't think it comes with many fonts, but the iPad itself doesn't have a lot of fonts either.

How to see my unanswered questions? Some forums missing?

I miss the old format... Maybe I'm old and stubborn, but this new Apple forums format isn't growing on me - I'm finding it difficult to navigate. Is it possible to customize my view so that I see all of my unanswered questions, and perhaps some select forums? If not, what's the easiest way to find my open questions - I can't seem to find the link. Also, are all of the forums here or have some been removed/consolidated? Either I'm not searching correctly or they're gone - it seems like some are missing; the old list was much clearer than this scroll-down thing.

Another pdf export problem with graphics missing

well, it seems that there have been quite a few export probs w/pdf.
i created some somewhat complex graphic files (wine labels) using keynote. then transfered them over to pages so that i would be able to print them
more easily. when transfering them to pdf files i lose some graphics.
the graphics that i lose are chinese characters...but only SOME of them.
i've tried pdf/x, still the same problem, but then i have that funny shaded
box around my letters.
i've tried exporting directly from keynote, but the pdf image is markedly
smaller than the oringinal document (with the comments hidden).
any ideas...even the genius bar is stumped.

In general, if some Chinese characters behave in one way and some other ones in another, it is often because one uses the wrong kind of font. If you for example have the (simplified) character 话 and use a font for traditional Chinese it may sometimes fail - especially in MS Word.
That said, I cannot reproduce your particular problem here. Both Keynote and Pages seem to handle this as well as they possibly can for me.
Two things you can try:
1. Change font, to make sure that it matches the character.
2. Create another account on your Mac and see if you still have the same problem.
What did the characters look like? Any fancy formatting with shadows or colours?

I have a driver form and smartform in Print and same in fax configured in nace. But there are some values missing in FAX output whereas in print and email it is correct.

All text tones are available in General-Sounds. Some are missing via Contacts-Edit Contact.

I have confirmed that this issue is also present in the iPhones in the Apple store as of 28-April-2014. I told one of the guys in the Apple store about it and he said that the iPhones in the store have a custom version, so I asked him to check his own iPhone. He did, and the issue is present on his phone, so it's definintely a general IOS7 iPhone issue.
If you go to General -> Sounds -> Text Tone -> Classic, you can see all the classic text tones.
If you go to Contacts, select a contact, select Edit -> Text Tone -> select Classic, some are missing.
I used Choo Choo for one of my contacts while I was on IOS6 and when I switched to a new phone with IOS7 and performed a restore, their text tone changed to Tri-tone. I tried to change it back and saw it was not availble, so I figured they had taken it out of IOS7. Then I heard a friend's iPhone 5 on IOS 7 who had Choo Choo set up as their default. I investigated and saw that more Classic text tones were available via General.
Is there some logical reason why some text tones are not available for Contacts?

Do you maybe have your contacts separated into groups? If so, perhaps you have unchecked the group that the missing contact are in.
In the Contacts app, click the Groups button in the upper left corner. Make sure all groups have a check mark next to them.

CS4 Extended - Some Icons missing

there are some icons missing regarding the control if the opened files ( see attached image link ).
I tried reinstall but without success.

I had the same problem. It also caused some issues in CS3 with the selection tools.
Remove Nik software if it's present in your plugins folder. For me the specific folder that fixed it was named "penpalette." Once I deleted this the icons came back and the program worked much better and more smoothly.

On web pages and in the ap store. In place of the graphic there's a little box with a question mark in it.
I can't even connect to a web page right now. I've got three bars on the wifi icon but safari just keeps trying until it says it can't connect to the server. Same with the ap store, I've been trying all afternoon to download a new ap with no success. It came right through on my iphone on the same wifi network. Had the same problem on my home network. I'm new to apple and I've only had the iphone and the ipad for a little over a week, but all this seems to have started after the most recent software update.
Is this all related?

Tap the cloud symbol with the down arrow next to the songs you want to download. You can also download an entire playlist by opening it, scrolling to the bottom and tapping Download All. This is my screen shot from Mail.app, I didn't tested Mountain Lion in games, but one time 1,5h after instalation of new OS X my system has crashed, and reason was GPU problems (I hope drivers only, I read this in Console.app). ML was freezing about 4-5 minutes, on the dock were artifacts, so I had to do hard reset. My computer is MacBook Pro 13" i5 2,3 Ghz + Intel HD 3000 + 8GB Ram + SSD.

but I do not see and file called RDBMSRealm and/or
I do not see the log statements on stdout.
BTW, I do have logging set to the most detailed
level (Info) from the console if this matters.
Also, are there some JavaDocs missing from
Weblogic's Reference website at

I see java docs for a lot of classes, but what document do I use that
helps me to understand the entire framework? The Programming
Weblogic Security does give this information.
Example question: how do I get a reference to the realm to create
users? Should I even be doing this?
