CP8 system variables for responsive design

Does Captivate 8 have a system variable that returns the responsive view currently shown on a learner's device? For example, is it possible to create an advanced action that would show an object only on a mobile device?

I don't know of any but i have done some of this with embedded html using media queries in the CSS (to show things only in the mobile view) and it works fine

  • System Variable For Internal table count

    Can anybody tell me what the system variable for internal table count?
    I just wants to know how many recoreds are there in my internal table ?
    Regards,
    pandu.

    Hi ,
    DESCRIBE TABLE <itab> [LINES <l>] [OCCURS <n>] [KIND <k>].
    If you use the LINES parameter, the number of filled lines is written to the variable <lin>. If parameter, the you use the OCCURS value of the INITIAL SIZE of the table is returned to the variable <n>. If you use the KIND parameter, the table type is returned to the variable <k>: ‘T’ for standard table, ‘S’ for sorted table, and ‘H’ for hashed table.
    using variable
    SY-TFILL
    After the statements DESCRIBE TABLE, LOOP AT, and READ TABLE, SY-TFILL contains the number of lines in the relevant internal table.

  • What is system variable for net invoice amount on Dunning Letter

    On the dunning letters PLD what is the system variable for the net invoice amount?
    System var 160 the actual balance which unfortunately includes VAT
    Thanks
    Greig

    Gorden,
    They would like to have different text on the PLD for the A/R Credit memo that the way it is worded in the remarks.  You are correct that SAP places that in the remarks but it also adds "Based on ......".  They would like it to say "Applied to Invoice.....".
    Thanks,
    Don

  • Will Muse Create an Update for Responsive Design

    Will muse create an update for responsive design? I understand if you put a shape to the edge of the website that the website will be responsive that way, but I want the text, header, and logo to change as well. Or how about an export to reflow?

    I agree somewhat. I love the usablilty of reflow, so I think that if they implemented those tools into muse it would be perfect. It is a complete web design application, so why not have the responsive design into it?

    I've read somewhere that a user can set some Oracle Forms system variables
    like SYSTEM.MESSAGE_LEVEL, SYSTEM.DATE_THRESHOLD, SYSTEM.EFFECTIVE_DATE, SYSTEM.SUPPRESS_WORKING

    Does anyone know how?
    I want to use the same fmx file with various settings, so do not want to
    hard code any values for these variables.
    TIA,
    Sam

    Frequently I modidied
    :system.message_level := 0 let's say.

  • Insert images and text in header for responsive design cc

    I am having a issue with inserting a logo, company name and Facebook graphic into my header.
    I started setup of a responsive design and added a responsive header along with other areas below.
    I want the Logo to stay on the left, the company name to the right of the logo and the Facebook graphic on the right side of the header.
    I keep making a mess and can't get anything to line up correctly.
    I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CC and trying to control with CSS.
    I am just starting to learn the new CSS Designer in CC. I liked the old CSS console better.

    Basically, you need to float all 3 elements left and give them a width of 33.33% (3-across).
    header #logo,
    header h1,
    header #fb {
         float:left;
         width: 33.33%;
    HTML:
    <div class="gridContainer fluid">
         <header>
              <div id="logo">Your logo here</div>
              <h1>Your Site Name</h1>
              <div id="fb">Facebook here</div>
         </header>

  • Assigning System variables in query designer

    Hi all,
    My requirement is that For a field CALENDAR DAY, i Want to set the default values so that it displays the data for last seven days from the current system date by using sy-datum. This should be done without using customer exit logic.Can anyone tel me how can this be done in Bex query designer.

    Hi Imanik,
    I think using custom exit to arrive to a solution of your issue is the most efficient way as of now.
    Alternatively you can write a routine in ETL Where in you can check if  Sy-Datum - 7 <= Calday, then you can have a field Flag in Infoprovider which would be populated by X in this case. Later on in Bex you can have a filter on Calday  = X. But this scenario works only when you are doing:
    1. A full load.
    2. You are running the query on the same day you are doing this full load.

    Raj

  • Bypass installer system check for Oracle Designer 10gR2

    Is there a way to bypass the batch file or edit it that runs prior to the universal installer loading?

    I am trying to install Oracle Designer 10gR2 and the setup starts a batch file (see link below for image) that does a system requirement check. This fails on a machine that I need to install Designer. The reason it fails is because the paging file is in a different place than where this batch file is looking. The system meets the requirement it just happens to have the paging file in the wrong place.
    My question; is there a way to turn this off with a command line switch or something so the installation will proceed unimpeded?
    Here's the link to the image file, please keep in mind that this is an example and not the actual failure message. Please believe me it is the swap file it is failing on.

  • Centering Marquee for Responsive Design

    My website is displaying my current marquee... http://www.roemtech.com/new/rotator.html
    I built this rotator for my imac with a width of 100% (1900px max) and a set 500px height.  If you open the page in a browser for the imac the background and image display correctly and the background responds correctly for smaller sized images.  However on smaller screens the rotating images do not hit the center of the background.
    How can I set the pictures to maintain thier aspect ratio while still hitting the center of the screen for multiple screen sizes?

    Justin: What I meant was I would like the students to design a site that will be responsive to whatever device the visitor is using. It appears Muse has you create three versions (computer, tablet, phone) and then the Business Catalyst host has scripting to know which of the three to send out to the visitor. But, is Muse able to create the scripts required to make this happen without relying on whether or not the server has specific JavaScripts? Sorry, I'm a bit over my head with this. Thank you in advance for your continued help!

  • Operating System Variable for Deski LOVs

    Colleagues,  There is an OS variable which cached LOV for Desktop Intelligence reports running in the XI R2 Enterprise environment. The problem is I can't remember what it is, just that it has a long unwieldy name, something like DESKI_LOV_CACHE except even longer and not exactly that. It was often very useful in reducing the amount of time required for prompts and LOVs to appear and generally enhanced the end user experience of the product I would like to find the correct value of this variable, the documentation ( I believe it was mentioned in XI R2 SP2 ) for this variable and does it still exist in the R3 environment.

    I believe this was an issue that was limited to XI R2 and was subsequently fixed by the fix pack 2.1 (ADAPT00677733). Have a look at the following link.
