CProjects header and logo

Hi Experts,
Looking into cProjects information we've seen that there are three methods to define a header and logo for cProjects 4.0:
Modification to the webdynpro, changing the standard images by the new one
Developing a new webdypro which contains the new images
Creating a connection to an external server that contains the images*
Is there any way that we can use a image stored on the same system, for example, in cFolders?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards.
Neil

  • Displays only menu border and logo

    I have two Apple TVs in my home. One is in a living room and the other in a bedroom. Both are syncing to a G5 tower. Both are 160 GB ATVs.
    The living room drive has never had any issues. The bedroom ATV is an AppleCare replacement due to an issue that I had and continue to have (with the new ATV). The issue is that sometimes the Apple TV only displays the menu border (frame) without any text menus. The AppleTV header and Logo are displayed in the bordered frame but menus like Movies, Music, Photo, etc. do not display. If I leave the box alone and come back to it hours later it sometimes comes back when I return.
    If any of you can shed light on what is gong on I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Brent

    Thanks so much for offering your feedback and suggestions regarding my issue. Let me answer both suggestions. First, the AppleTV does not have any additional software enhancements. It is stock build.
    I like the idea of an HDMI cable issue. I will replace with component cables and see if that makes a difference. Thank you both again for your suggestions.

  • Inserting a logo into the header and footer

    Hey Team
     I have a workbook with 5 worksheets. On sheet1 I have a button programed to open a new Word document; pull information from fields on 3 other sheets and creates a letter from that data. I have two company logos pasted into sheet5,
    Pic1 and Pic2.
    I want to copy Pic1 and paste it into the header  and copy Pic2 and paste it into the footer of the newly created word document and have them both centered and on all pages.
    As of now I can copy the Pics and paste them into the document body but have had no luck with the header or footer.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    First, when you create a Word doc you should always create it based on a predefined template.  The template has all your corporate styles set etc...VBA code should only be used to insert text.  I almost never use it manipulate anything that can't
    be set in templates.  The templates should already have the logos inserted.
    Set rptDoc = Documents.Add("C:\templates\example.dotx")
    rptDoc.SaveAs fileName:="C:\....................docx", _
    FileFormat:=wdFormatDocumentDefault, AddToRecentFiles:=True
    If you add a picture I recommend adding at it a predefined bookmark in the template.  I do this when adding signatures.  The bookmarks can be in the header.
    Sub SetBkMarkPic(xDoc As Document, xBkName As String, xFile As String)
    ' Set bookmark in document. Add file to bookmark
    If xDoc.Bookmarks.Exists(xBkName) Then
    xDoc.Bookmarks(xBkName).Select
    xDoc.Bookmarks(xBkName).Range.Text = ""
    Selection.InlineShapes.AddPicture fileName:=xFile
    End If
    End Sub

  • Creating a custom report with detailed header and then associated detail

    I am very new to CRMOD, so this question may be basic, but I have not found any good material yet to help me out, so here goes.
    We are trying to create a Quote report that will be sent to our customers. The report needs to have both a header and detail section basically as follows:
    <Header>
    Quote Form
    Date:
    Expiration Date:
    Sales Person Name:
    Customer Name and address
    Terms
    ... some other text data ...
    <Detail>
    Standard fields that define the quote, these are easy.
    What I cannot determine how to do is create the header section. In the report designer, it only allows for a Title, logo, and another text line. Can anyone suggest another method?

    I do not have the narrative option.
    Options available are:
    Title
    Table
    Chart
    Pivot Table
    Gauge
    Active Filters
    legend
    Advanced
    --> Column Selector
    --> View Selector
    --> Funnel Chart
    --> Ticker
    According to the documentation, the narrative view should be available from the advanced menu. Am I on a different package by chance?

  • Strange gaps in Header and Footer

    Im getting gaps in the header and footer on some of my pages.  Sometimes the gaps are filled with the background color of the colomn and other times they are the body color which is even weirder.  An example link would be http://www.mojogar.com/pcRepair.aspx .  In IE8 I get a gap on top but not  the bottom.  In Firefox3 the gap is on the bottom and not the top.  ???

    /* Tips for this Hybrid layout
    1. Since the side columns em-based sizing is based on the user's default font size, you will want to be sure that background graphics in the columns take that into account. Built correctly, this is more accessible for those that need larger font sizes, since the width of the columns remains proportionate. If this is undesirable with your design, simply change the width to a pixel size and be sure to change the margins on the #mainContent div accordingly.
    2. Since the sizing of side columns in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element, if you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the column widths will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase their widths, and the size of the #mainContent div's side margins, to compensate for this.
    3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.
    4. The #container div is not necessary for this layout at the 100% width. You may want to use it to create faux columns or limit the width of the layout.
    5. It is not neccessary to have the 100% width on the #container div since, by nature, a div takes up 100% of the available space. It is here so that if you want to decrease the size of the overall container - perhaps leaving a bit of margin on each side - this will already be available for adjustment.
    .thrColHybHdr #container {
    width: 780px;
    /*margin: 0 auto;  the auto margins (in conjunction with a width) center the page if needed */
    text-align: left;
    padding: 0px;
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-right: auto;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    margin-left: auto;
    .thrColHybHdr #header {
    background-color: #C9F76F;
    height: 100%;
    width: 780px;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    .thrColHybHdr #header h1 {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0px;
    /* Tips for sidebar1:
    1. Be aware that if you set a font-size value on this div, the overall width of the div will be adjusted accordingly.
    2. Since we are working in ems, it's best not to use padding on the sidebar itself. It will be added to the width for standards compliant browsers creating an unknown actual width.
    3. Space between the side of the div and the elements within it can be created by placing a left and right margin on those elements as seen in the ".thrColHybHdr #sidebar1 p" rule.
    .thrColHybHdr #sidebar1 {
    width: 13em;
    border-top-width: thick;
    border-top-style: solid;
    border-top-color: #C06;
    float: left;
    height: auto;
    .thrColHybHdr #sidebar2 {
    width: 200px;
    text-align: center;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    float: right;
    /*.thrColHybHdr #sidebar1 h3, .thrColHybHdr #sidebar1 p, .thrColHybHdr #sidebar2 p, .thrColHybHdr #sidebar2 h3 {
    margin-left: 0px;*/ /* the left and right margin should be given to every element that will be placed in the side columns */
    /* margin-right: 0px;
    /* Tips for mainContent:
    1. If you give this #mainContent div a font-size value different than the #sidebar1 div, the margins of the #mainContent div will be based on its font-size and the width of the #sidebar1 div will be based on its font-size. You may wish to adjust the values of these divs.
    2. The space between the mainContent and sidebar1 is created with the left margin on the mainContent div.  No matter how much content the sidebar1 div contains, the column space will remain. You can remove this left margin if you want the #mainContent div's text to fill the #sidebar1 space when the content in #sidebar1 ends.
    3. To avoid float drop, you may need to test to determine the approximate maximum image/element size since this layout is based on the user's font sizing combined with the values you set. However, if the user has their browser font size set lower than normal, less space will be available in the #mainContent div than you may see on testing.
    4. In the Internet Explorer Conditional Comment below, the zoom property is used to give the mainContent "hasLayout." This avoids several IE-specific bugs that may occur.
    .thrColHybHdr #mainContent {
    text-align: center;
    margin-right: 0px;
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    margin-left: 0px;
    width: 580px;
    background-color: #2A4480;
    color: #C9F76F;
    padding: 0px;
    .MarginTopZero {
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    .busConslt {
    height: 600px;
    width: 800px;
    .idea {
    height: auto;
    width: 100%;
    .thrColHybHdr #footer {
    padding: 0;
    background-color: #C9F76F;
    margin: 0px;
    .thrColHybHdr #footer p {
    margin: 0; /* zeroing the margins of the first element in the footer will avoid the possibility of margin collapse - a space between divs */

  • How do i add images in the header and footer to a PDF using iText

    Hi ,
    I want to add images to the header and footer of every page while i am genrating a pdf i have created a separate class called EndPage which i am instanceiating its default constructor in another class 's button action method.
    The above code genrates a PDF for me however it genrates a file with file size zero bytes and does not open it following is my sample code
    //**********Any Help would be appreciated
    Thank You
    public class My_Class
    public String pdf_action()
    EndPage ep=new EndPage();
    return null;
    }//My_class Ends
    class EndPage extends PdfPageEventHelper
    * Demonstrates the use of PageEvents.
    * @param args no arguments needed
    public EndPage()
    try {
    com.lowagie.text.Document document = new Document(PageSize.A4, 50, 50, 70, 70);
    PdfWriter writer = PdfWriter.getInstance(document, new FileOutputStream("D://proposals/endpage.pdf"));
    writer.setPageEvent(new EndPage());
    document.open();
    String text = "Lots of text. ";
    for (int k = 0; k < 10; ++k)
    text += text;
    document.add(new Paragraph(text));
    document.close();
    catch (Exception de) {
    de.printStackTrace();
    public void onEndPage(PdfWriter writer, Document document) {
    try {
    Rectangle page = document.getPageSize();
    PdfPTable head = new PdfPTable(3);
    for (int k = 1; k <= 6; ++k)
    head.addCell("head " + k);
    head.setTotalWidth(page.width() - document.leftMargin() - document.rightMargin());
    head.writeSelectedRows(0, -1, document.leftMargin(), page.height() - document.topMargin() + head.getTotalHeight(),
    writer.getDirectContent());
    PdfPTable foot = new PdfPTable(3);
    for (int k = 1; k <= 6; ++k)
    foot.addCell("foot " + k);
    foot.setTotalWidth(page.width() - document.leftMargin() - document.rightMargin());
    foot.writeSelectedRows(0, -1, document.leftMargin(), document.bottomMargin(),
    writer.getDirectContent());
    catch (Exception e) {
    throw new ExceptionConverter(e);
    }

    Hi,
    Thanks for the quick response.
    The problem is that when I keep the logo as a watermark, the pdf is not adjusting itself to include the logo as header.
    But if I add a header text via Tools -> Headers and Footers, the pdf is adjusting itself so that the header text is at the beginning , not overlapping with the contents of pdf.
    But while using logo as watermark, some times overlapping of the pdf contents and logo is happening.
    Is there any way to add a logo in the Header and Footer via the option in Tools -> Headers and Footers
    Thanks,
    Vidhya

  • How do I get rid of the white space between my header and my spry navigation bar?

    I have been grappling with a problem for the past 2 days and cannot seem to work my way around it. I have been working on a page in dreamweaver cs4 that seems to have whitespace between the header and my spry menu bar ONLY in Firefox. Google Chrome and Safari show it correctly. • Need to remove the header and footer regions on one page

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to remove the header and footer regions on one page only. The regions I'm referring to contain the following:
    Header:
    Company logo, Home link, Logout link, Preferences link
    Footer:
    Copyright info, Privacy Statement, Home link, Logout link, Preferences link
    These are the standard Oracle header and footer regions/page items, so I am not specifying a particular page name, although it would be the create time cards page we want to modify.
    Also, we only want to remove these regions/items from ONE page, not an entire responsibility.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Suzanne

    Hi,
    In order to hide,
    Home link, Logout link, Preferences link
    Use this code in the processrequest of the controller on the page on which you want tohide these
    OAPageLayoutBean page = pageContext.getPageLayoutBean();
    page.prepareForRendering(pageContext);
    page.setGlobalButtons((oracle.cabo.ui.UINode)null);
    And for hiding the Copyright info, Privacy Statement:
    Click on Personalise page link
    then Click on Choose Context
    Choose "OAFooter" as Scope
    and click "Apply"
    and then Personalise the Copyright and Privay Statememnt icon and set rendered as False.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  • Header and footer question

    If I wan to place something in header and footer, that would be shown on every page, can I use Page0 for that?
    If not what is the quickest way to accomplish that on www site with 30 allready made pages?
    THX!

    Hello,
    The functionality you want is already built into the application and the positioning is controlled by the page templates
    For the logo you are going to have to edit the page templates to put the logo where you want it. The reason you want to do this in the page template is there is a substitution string #LOGO# that can be changed in the Application attributes.
    As for messaging if you want to show the same messaging across the whole application take a look at Global Notification attribute at
    Home>Application Builder>Application #####>Application Attributes>Edit Application Attributes
    Any message there will be show in the messaging area across the application again the position of that is controlled with the page templates by the #GLOBAL_NOTIFICATION# substitution so if you want to move it you are going to have to edit your page templates.
