CProjects-PS integration (PPM5.0)

Hi,
We are on PPM5.0
We have a scneario where there are more than one PS Project profile, and therefore we need dynalic linking of project type (in cProjctes) to PS Project profile.
We understand that BAdi IAOM_BUSINESS_SCENAR can be used to manipulate the setting.
We have two queries:
- CPR001 is the standard profile. If we copy this and name it as Z_CPR001, which profile does the system use? We need to use the profile to change some settings, and then try this to create project in PS
- Where does the system allow to dunalically link the Project Type (cProjects) to the PS profile for the scenario defined above - where we need to link profile dynamically because there's more than one PS profile to be used.

What we are not sure of is where (at the front end) do we link the cProjects Project Type to the PS Profile. I am talking about the user - where at the front end, does the user specify this link.
Also, for the standard profile, if we create a new one, with a copy of CPR001 (say Z_CPR001), does the system use Z_CPR001 as the standard profile. We need to test a scenario where the standard settings need to be changed.

CProjects-PS Integration - ERROR

We are on PPM5.0
We are working in cProjects-PS integration.
At the flag for transfer, we get to see cockpit errors (COCPCPR).
"Entry Profit Center = SAP-DUMMY does not exist in CEPC (check entry)"
There are some more errors but the source of all other seems to be the one above.
How can we get rid of this error?
How can we refer to some other profit center so that the system does not reference this?
Or else, what is the other option?

CProjects-PS Integration (Automat. Case) PS profile missing from install.

We need to create PS-project automatically form cProject project. We know there is a standard project profile cProjects-PS Integration (Automat. Case) for this purpose. However, for some reason this profile is not installed in our development system. SAP told us to manually create this profile and so we did, but still we are not able to create the PS-project. Have someone else had the same problem? Is there something else required to get the profile working than just creating it? We donu2019t find any IMG node where the PS profile would be activated to automatic creation.
Any help appreciated

Difficult to say what is wrong here.
Did you check the error messages in the Controlling Cockpit in your PS system? Transaction COCPCPR.

Hi Milind,
For Integrating CATS need to make relevant settings in Project type.
Make settings in Data entry profile.
If cProjects & CATS (ECC) are on seperate servers ref Note 954860 - Setting up ALE to integrate cProjects with CATS.
You also need to have account integration & HR integration to use CATS with cProjects.

CProjects - DMS integration:26 036 You are not authorized for with doc.type

Hi Experts,
I need to use cProjects integration with DMS. When I try to create a link to an existing document I find the following error:
26 036 You are not authorized for with document type DRW
My user has authorization to the doc type in the DMS system (linked by RFC to cProjects system). I also have defined the object link in the document type.
Do you know which configuration may be missing?

How is the RFC connection established between DMS and cProjects system? Do check the authorizations of the RFC user through which the connection is established.

CProjects DMS Integration

Hi,
I am working on cProjects and trying to understand integration with Easy DMS.
Can anyone explain the following :
2)What further ability does the integration offer in addition to the document management functionality in cProjects? I understand that the documents are stored in DMS as Document Inforecord with integration.
3) Can a user create document Info records in DMS from cProjects or does cProjects just allow the user to link to a record created in EDMS ?
4) And finally, could some one direct me to any documentation on cProjects and Easy DMS Integration, if any ?

Hello, you can create Document Info record directly from cProjects. First step you need to define in the "Define Project type". You need to check the box for SAP DMS. Also inside cross application for DMS, go inside define document types and you have to include the object "DPR_OBJLINK" for the document type that you would be interested. Once inside cProjects, SAP DMS button would be visible and you may proceed creating Document Info record. It automatically creates in the backend SAP system. You can also load the documents inside that. In case you need more information please let me know your email address and I would send you the screen shots.

Internal Order not being created in cProjects-Accounting Integration

Dear All,
We are working on cProjects 4.0 with ECC 6.0,
Trying to do Accounting Integration.
For only one Project I am able to create Internal Order,
But I am getting following error.
Cost/revenue rate YP002 is not valid in organization 00000000
Inspite of assigning these rates to the organization 00000000
For other projects, when I click on accounting:
I get following error
"Single-Obj.Controlling on InternalOrders 0188993B3E343947A046B554FD886E03 000006000032 does not exist"
When I go to Controlling Cockpit, I see this Internal Order not being created.
Have revisited all settings, project type, etc.
How do I go about this.

I was able to solve the one of the problem, with the following settings,
Assign Cost Elements & Activity Types:
Choose Organization, Start & End Dates, Cost and Revenue Elements, Currency.
The start and end date of the cost/ revenue did not fall within the start and end date of the Organization.

CProjects HR Integration: Data format synchronizing

Hi Experts,
Going into the HR Integration synchronizing we are finding an error on the iDocs:
Filtering data for central person 00070355 (IDoc 0000000000000016 , segment 000001 - )
Message no. HRALX00_ORG512
We suspects from some CRM threads that we are missing some data synchronizing between the two systems. How can this data format comparing / synchronization can be done from a cProjects 4.5 system?

Hi,
You can do account integration in cprojects by two way. one by collecting cost to internal order and then settling it to Asset. Another is collecting cost to WBS element and the doing settlement run and creating AUC. Once project Phase (WBS) is technically completed settle this AUC to Fix asset.
Creation of fix asset depend upon asset class. While creation of AUC in WBS element depend upon investment profile attached WBS element.

Error - cProjects PS integration

Hello,
I am carrying out the automatic creation of projects in PS from cProjects. I have done all the required configurations for the same.
While creating the project in cProjects, I entered the number for Project and phase as per the mask id in PS.
But while creating project automatically, the wbs element of PS project for cProject phase is still taking the internal no.
And in cocpcpr, I am gettting the error - Object WBS Element 190000000000000002762009 could not be created.
Any pointers why this error is coming.

Cprojects-xrpm integration error

Hi
I need to integrate cprojects and xrpm (both are on different systems). When I try to do so, it gives me "No system found for alias SAP_RPM" error at source "Application".
How do I resolve this?

in the portal, you have to define a "system" for your RPM backend system and also
define the alias SAP_RPM for this "system" in the portal. Same has to be done for
cProjects and the alias SAP_cProjects.

CProjects-PS Integration

Hi,
I have a requirement wherein when the user sets the cProject status to "Flag for Transfer", I want to throw up an error message depending on certain conditions. Do we have any event for this?
Also while creating the WBS element, I plan to use the BADI Implementation CPRO_PROJECT_LABEL. I kept a breakpoint in GET_WBS_ELEMENT method to observer the parameters, but it didn't stop there though the WBS element is created succefully.
Do we have any other ways of debugging this?
I am sure its going into CPRO_PROJECT_LABEL because I enhanced GET_WBS_ELEMENT and hardcoded the WBS description and the new WBS element has this hardcoded description.

For the event handling, you can use the BADI DPR_EVENTS to implment your own logic to react of the status change.
Regarding Breakpoint, if the implemented codes works and breakpoint not stopped, it can be the problem with different servers.
Either make sure, that the UI (Internet explorer) uses the same server where the break-point is set. Alternative start tcode SRDEBUG to active for all servers. Additionally the user-id should be the same for the UI and the break-point.

CProjects Accounting / CATS integration

I am working on cProjects Accounting Integration and CATS integration.
During same I am getting following messages:
1. Acct Int.: Single-Obj. Contr. in SAP R/3 DCE458547A88A6F1B3640002A5CD3FB0 does not exist
2. Inconsistency between currency type 30 and currency EUR
Also, Internal Order is not getting generated.
It is on ECC6 and cProjects 4.0
Can anyone help me on the same?????

To create the internal order , check the following things
     do the following things,
.1)     Define company Name
2)     Define company code, Credit control area, business area, Functional area, FM area.
)3)     Maintain Controlling area.
Prerequisite: Need to define to Company following four things
a)     Currency type: Defined in Company code
b)     Currency: Defined in Company code
c)     charts of account:
d) Maintain Fiscal variant and assign it to company code.
4)     Create Cost center
Prerequisite for cost center: Need to define 1) Standard Hierarchy
5)     Create cost element
6)     Do the following assignment
a)     Company code to company
b)     Company code to credit control area
c)     Company code to FM area
d)     Profit center to Company code
7)     Assignment company code to controlling area
8)     Create model order: put $$ sign as order type.
9)     Create the order type

Project Profile CPR001 (cProjects)

Hi,
We are on PPM5.0, working with cProjects-PS integration.
Understand that the PS Profile for integration is CPR001.
How can we define another profile that links with cProjects?
Business requirement is to have a different profile.

In your accounting system, please implement BADI: IAOM_BUSINESS_SCENAR
Then you can use method CHANGE_PROJECT_PROFILE in order to select the right PS profile.
