hi
Can anyone help me with the cProjects table..?
like for configuration of phase type there is table : V_DPR_PHA_TYPE, same way is there any table for front end gui where I can make changes and get the new field created?

Hello Gurus,
I want to create an infoset based on projects and its associated tasks for crystal reporting purposes. Is there a specific table where can i get the task details and statuses to support an infoset creation? The table TJ02 has all the statuses however the table doest have any common fields to link to other tables.
What other approaches would you suggest for this requirment?

CProject table data

hi,
can anyone tell me the table in which the object links of the cProject are stored. i have gone through DPR_PROJECT and RPM_OBJ_LINK but i am not able to get the results.
Data : - An item is linked to a cProject.
i want to get to the related project from an item GUID and /RPM/ITEM_D helped me get the GUID with the input item external ID. Now with this GUID i want to get the related project ID. when i used the item GUID as input to RPM_OBJ_LINK it gives me the result with INTERNAL ID, OBJECT TYPE etc., but i do not get the cProject GUID.
Pls let me know if i am missing any table in between.

Hi Sujata,
Once you have the project GUID, then tables DPR_PART and DPR_ENTITY_LINK will get the roles of that project.
Role guids and IDs can be obtained from DPR_PART.
In table DPR_ENTITY_LINK,
PARTICIPANT_GUID = role guid
ENTITY_TYPE = 'DPO'
ENTITY_GUID = project guid
you get all the valid roles for that project guid.
In table DPR_PART_DIST,
ENTITY_GUID = Role guid
Check for cProject BAPIs which can be of help to your scenario.

RElationship of Tables and Fields in cProjects 4.0

Iam writing the functional spec for a custom status report requirement in cProjects. I have experienced deifficulty in getting the information on relationship of tables.
Can anyone help me in this regard.
I could get the list of tables in PLM, but could not take the relationships in between them

Time, Travel Expense in cProjects 4.0 TRANSFER

Working on cProjects 4.0, I have a few issues with regard to Time and Travel Expense in CATS:
1. How can the approved travel expense be seen in cProjects front end?
2. Which table contains the travel expense data?
3. Can approved expenses per resource be viewed in cProjects front end?
4. Assigned to more than one project simultaneously each corresponding to an internal order, how can a use make out (in CATS), which one to capture effort in - if they are all in the same confirmation period.

2)All cProjects tables start with DPR. In transaction se11, check by giving dpr*.
4) Configuration should be done to your HR profile in such a way that it allows time conirmation for tasks. The tasks to which the resource has been alloted to appear in the worklist in cat2 transaction. Just click on the project for which you want to confirm the times in the worklist and copy that to the data entry area. Ensure that the receiving internal order is specified.
Use the program DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF for transferring the time to the corresponding cProjects

Hide tab pages in cProjects

Hi
I want to hide some of the tab pages of the cProjects project.
I am able to hide some of the tab pages like Approvals, check list items, control plans, substitute, versions.
I want to hide some more tab pages like Accounting, Resources, control plans, Project version, search etc.
Can anyone guide me how do I hide them?

Function moduel for updating cprojects elements

Hi experts!
Does anyone of you know whether there exist a function module for updating elements of a project? I will preferably not update tables directly.
My intention is to update the status of about 1000 projects. If some of you have control over the tables regarding cprojects I will be thankful for that too!

CProject evaluation table: How to get project-related task confirmation

Hi everybody.
I'm working on cproject and this is my problem:
In my report i can get details related to an assigned project (i know Project guid) in this way:
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUS2172_GET_DETAIL'
    EXPORTING
      project_definition_guid      = project_guid
    IMPORTING
      es_project_definition_detail = es_project_definition_detail
    TABLES
      et_name                      = et_name
      et_status                    = et_status
      return                       = return.
This bapi let me know the total confirmation status of my project ( this value is contained in the ACT_WORK_EFFORT of the standard data base table DPR_PROJECT ).
I would like also to get the confirmation status of each task related to this project ......
i think that these values are contained in the field ACT_WORK_EFFORT of the table DPR_TASK .... but i'm not able to select all and only tasks related to a single progect ....

CProjects - Unable to change tabs from graphic to table/detail

Hello experts,
when the tabs in a project under cProjects changed from graphic to table/detail the Display remains to "Please Wait".
Further processing of the project is no longer possible. It is equal if i use WebDynpro application cProjects directly or is called from the portal.
I appreciate any hint!

We are on cProject suite 4.0
For one development, we need to identify tables which can provide relation between task & Business Partners ( resources )
Can anybody throw light on this?

hi prashant,
to identify the tables u can run a trace... transaction : ST05
activate the trace in ST05
run cprojects and open a project in which a task has been assigned a role(resource)
deactivate the trace and view the trace details..it would give u all the tables that have been accessed.
note: remember to deactivated the trace.

Has anybody aware of how notes (which are available for all objects like Project definition / task/phase) are stored in cProjects 4.0
Iam not refering to SAP Notes

Notes are not saved in any Table. Rather they are saved as SAPScript Text (Long Text).
I can give you other relevant information which may help you.
Component Controller Name: DPR_NOTES
Class: CL_DPR_API_NOTE
Check the method get_notes of class CL_DPR_ENTITY
To test the process of retreiving and saving notes put break points in the method UPDATE_DATA_FROM_BE of the component contoller of the WebDynpro Component DPR_NOTES.

Adjusting the table view in cProjects

Hi,
The table view for cProjects include a lot of columns. I want to change the table view for all users. Have any of you done this, and if can you give me a description on how to do it.

My team found a solution for this, you need to enter cProjects with Webdynpro admin rights,
Access cProjects in standalone mode, after login append "SAP-CONFIG-MODE=X" at the end of the URL like below
http://<appserver>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects?sap-client=345&sap-language=EN&SAP-CONFIG-mode=X and refresh.
Select any project go to the table view and right click you will get option as "Setting for current configuration", you can change the no of columns to appear here. Award points.

I see EXT_OBJECT_ID what's ? project/task/intenal order, which conversion function module I use to display external name of the object?
I see also OBJECT_NO in some records it is valued other no,
which is the meaning of this field?
