Cpu 100 percent in executable

I've developed an application that uses UDP messaging to communicate with a cRIO 9022.
When running the application on the development system, it sends and receives messages, no problem.
However, when I build an executable, and try to deploy it on a clean system, (no prior LabView RTE), the application seems to run up to 100% when trying to run the UPD messaging.
Has anyone had anything remotely similar ?

Hi DeOdderKeith,
That is odd, I have never seen this. Is it running a while loop at full speed?

• When is Apple going to address this ITUNES CPU 100 percent problem

Speak for yourself.  I am not experiencing any such issues on either of my computers running iTunes.
Generaly not a good idea to assume everyone is having the same issue, unless you like looking like a fool.

Hi Ray-
I'm having the exact same problem and have searched the web for hours looking for a solution (multiple spawned avgcmgr processes that consume cpu).
Did you find any solution?
Thanks so much!

• MDNSResponder taking 100 percent CPU after upgrading to 10.5.1

Hello,
just want to know if anybody else has the same problem.
After upgrading to 10.5.1 the process mDNSResponder took up almost 100 percent of CPU power.
In the system.log following line appears (very often):
mDNSResponder[171]: KQ SSLHandshake failed: -9806
I took a look at my Linux firewall in front of my network and it drops a lot of packages:

Maybe this is a server something to do with .MAC (I'm a member and some sync are turned on)?
I opened the 5354 port and mDNSReponder is now running normal.
But hey Apple, I don't want computers be registered by Bonjour or something else at your servers.
Can you please check this out?
Thanks for your answers.

Hi
I think I found the cause to my problem and also solved it?
When I investigated my "Console Log" the next message was repeated :
... mDNSResponder[202] Failed to obtain NAT port mapping from router 10.0.1.1 external address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx internal port 9999
This gave me an idea and pointed in the NAT configurations.
What have I done (which solved my problem) :
• opened "Airport Utility"
• selected my Airport Base Station
• choose "manual Setup"
• choose "internet connection"
• after that i selected the tab "NAT"
• where I deactivated "Enable NAT port mapping protocol"
• and then I updated my Airport Base station
=> since then, no more the problem and de message disappeared from the "Console Log"
Greetings

I only get 100% CPU after quitting. There's a bug report here.
Seems to be something to-do with the nvidia drivers.
Play, Stop, Pause etc. seem to work fine and I don't get any QPainter errors so you've
got some other problems there.

• Running 100 percent of cpu

My Itunes is taking 100 percent of the CPU. Any help ?

I am having the same problem as well! I have just got m y iPad 2 and rushed to get it updated and was forced to update my iTunes to 10.5.0.142 and since then I have not been able to do anything!
I have noticed that iTunes takes about 50% of my CPU, AppleMobileDeviceService takes the other 50% and the AppleBackupService gets a huge ZERO% which is great if you don't want to actually do any backups - but then again it won't let you update without doing a backup.
I have tried the uninstall and reinstall routine, done the tweaking to make iTunes as lean as possible but nothing helps. I am not at a point that I wish I had not spent what I have on apples new money spinner - I could have used it on something that works!
Going by the complete lack of response from Apple on these forums, it is clear that they don't even monitor them at all and don't care about their users at all and it's just their bank balance they are interested in.

• Install itunes - cpu goes to 100 percent and stalls.  Uninstalled, tried fixes on internet, reinstalled - same story

Have installed, uninstalled itunes on xp machine and tried all the fixes given in the discussion groups, plus cnet and other internet fixes.....nothing works.  After installation of itunes cpu usage goes to 100 percent and itunes stops.  Cpu stays at 100 percent until I uninstall itunes.  By the number of posts on the internet, I can't believe Apple hasn't addressed this issue with a fix.

I had the same problem but this worked for me.
Get to a dos command prompt and type:  netsh winsock reset
You will need to reboot your computer but it fixed tocpu 100% issue.
Good luck

• Itunes causing CPU performance to get to 100 percent

Hello,
Lately itunes causes my CPU performance to oscillate between 10 and 100 percent, which causes my computer to stall out every few seconds. Here is a picture of what my cpu performancee looks like:
This only begins to happen as soon as I start playing a song. If itunes is sitting idly, the computer runs fine.
I used to have other programs open with itunes such as iconcertcal and isproggler, but i have made sure to uninstall such programs. I have tried uninstalling itunes and quicktime several times. This doesnt fix the problem.
Sometimes when I exit out of itunes it tells me that another program is using the itunes interface. I dont know how to tell what program that is. Originally i thought the problem happened because my scrobbling agent was connecting to a server to report the songs I played (i use it for a site called last.fm), but as i said, the problem is continuing even after I uninstalled these programs.
If anyone could help me through this issue, I'd appreciate it. I love itunes and I wouldnt want to have to switch to another music client.

I think i may have fixed this problem. It had to do with foxytunes, an itunes plugin for Itunes.

• Itunes freezes and cores shoot up 100 percent

Custom computer.
AMD 940 Black edition 3GHZ
CPU8MB G. Skill RAM
Biostar 8200 Motherboard
GTX 260 GPU
Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit
Iphone user for 5 years.
Starting about 4 months ago when nothing had happened in a long time build wise to my computer I began having this issue. The issue being whenever I sync my Iphone 4 to my desktop it will stop mid sync. The iphone 4 will pull itself out of sync mode thus freezing the itunes process. At which time all FOUR cores on my cpu will jump up to 100 percent load and if left unchecked would fry my CPU.
Now I recently just got around to updating to 4.1 and created a backup. Attempted and then ran into this gem of a problem isn't that just ffreaking amazing. Anyways I am now sync'd to my laptop (same OS just a dell xps studio) and everything went dandy except for the fact I lost my backup of my phone (for some reason it won't let me migrate it over to a 4GB thumbdrive out of the appdata folder).
Does ANYONE know what's going on here and does anyone have a solution. I called Apple and unfortunately they had never heard of the problem.

Figured as much. I work at AT&T and sell this stuff all day every day. Love the iphone. Loved itunes versions 8 and under. Versions 9 and up have been absolute **** optmized for Pc's. I.e. the horizontal scrolls in the itunes store section are flawless on a Mac (with lesser hardware) and extremely choppy on in PC i've gotten my hands on. Alas I wish there was some continuity between the builds. There i fear will always be a gap. Oh yeah and itunes blows on my desktop. Peace!

• On laptop processor always reporting 100 percent use

This is not true for my desktop which has Arch as well.  For some reason the "Processor" portion of the System Monitor applet on my panel always says 100 percent CPU, but when I click on it, and look at the processes, nothing is taking up that percentage except like 10 percent to the system monitor at times.  Glitch? or what?
please help,
Mike

i guess you are using gnome... which version? did it work before? readding applet, restarting gnome didn't help? probably it's a bug, and have no joice but to wait for update

• HT1212 i havnt changed my passcose and using the same passcode which i have been using since ages , its still not working, and i am 100 percent sure i am using the correct passcode ?

i havnt changed my passcose and using the same passcode which i have been using since ages , its still not working, and i am 100 percent sure i am using the correct passcode ?.,

Either way the result is the same... if you forgot (or don't know) your passcode, restore the device from backup on the last computer it was synced with when the passcode was turned on... this will remove the passcode. If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.

• IPhone 4s battery stuck at 100 percent. How do I get it back to normal?

iPhone 4s battery stuck at 100 percent. How do I get it back to normal?
Ever since the update, I am having issues with the battery. Phone shuts down while it still shows 100 percent battery life. Normally not a big deal because I don't use it all the time but lately an issue when I'm working in Manhattan and it shuts down while in the middle of conversation or emailing.
I can't go around charging it every hour wondering what my battery life really is.
Please help!

My phone now is not working at all. It only works for a few minutes while it is plugged into the wall and then it shuts down and pops right back up showing it has 75% battery. It has been doing this since yesteday afternoon.
I tried the reset and it is still acting up. Dreading having to take this to the Apple store since it is past the initial 90 days and I will probably get charged for it. :( Dont want to shell out money for a new one since I just got this one in October.
Thanks for your help.

• 100 percent button not working

I followed the tutorial exactly to create a 100 percent width slideshow. When selecting the hero image, however, the new 100 percent button on the control panel does not light up. Any help?

What does the Control Strip say at the far left when the hero image is selected? It should say "Hero Image". If it says, "Image" you've clicked too many times. Hit Escape to select the parent element. It it say's "Slideshow" click one more time to select the "Hero Image".

• 100 percent charge but shows 7 hours of time remaining??

Hi,
My 10 day old macbook air shows 100 percent chraged but 7 hrs of battery remaining ; then after few mins 8 hrs goes on increasing initially till 12 or may be more then again starts decreasing. Is that normal behavior?????

In saying "it can change frequently depending on what you are doing with your computer" I'd just add "take it with a huge grain of salt and pay more attention to the percentage of charge remaining. In the course of just a few minutes I've seen the silly thing tell me I having anywhere between 1 hour and 4 hours left. And during that time I was doing the same darn thing.
