CPU always at 2001 mhz

Is something wrong with my comp if my AMD 64 3000 cpu is always at 2001 mhz, its not changing on the core center utility?

Nothing is wrong at all. That is a normal situation. Keep in mind that a system clock is not an exact 200Mhz. It could be 200.1Mhz or something and still be withing normal limits.

CPU always at highest speed after 10.4.8 update

Does anyone else have same kind of "problems" than I have after todays OS X update? Before the update CoreduoTemp showed that CPU speed was moving from 1GHz to maximum 2GHz. Usually it was 1.5GHz and only in hevy load it was maximum.
Now when running 10.4.8 CPU speed is almost always highest 2GHz. It goes to 1.5GHz for couple of seconds and raises again to max. I wouldn't mind about this new feature but this has straight affect to batterylife which isn't great.

Well, I found the parent process and kileld it the 3 processes i saw, 2 of which were childs to sh, was simply coreduo temp calling reading logs to post teh frequency. Killed them, installed the old speedit version and older cdt, and still at 2.0 (though loads are down a bit from the newer version )
so, apprently it wasnt those.
Does anyoen remember hwo to get the CPU frequency from console , i can't recall and would liek to check if cdt is somehow the culprit.
this is kind of annoying, however. my battery is already JUST over 5000 at full charge, 5077 right now :/ i have to go to apple and try to get a new battery since it loses full charge weekly now heh

SQL CPU always on top at 10:00 am, no jobs are execute at that time...any tool that helps me to find the issue?

Hi everyone,since one month ago, my sql server 2008 has been experimented that something makes that my cpu server always be on 100% at 10:00 am , and even sometimes have crashed the server because of this,i have no executions jobs programmed at that time,
ran sql history jobs to see if i missed some job, but not even one job seems to be executed at that time, also there is no antivirus or windows update programmed at time
Does any one can recommend me a tool that not be the sql profiler , that we can use to be on monitoring at that time and tried or catch what makes that the sql cpu go to 100%, this happens all days at the same time.

Well basically the sql server its a virtual server, at 10:00 am the sql works slower than usually, the ti support that is monitoring the virtual machine , see that cpu starts to raise at that time (10:00 am) and
usually takes 1-2 minutes to back to normally, i had a back up BD log and differencial at that casually was execute at time, i had to change the time and now does not affect at 10:00, when i had this backups the server crashes, because the cpu was not enough,
now i moved the job (back up log adn diff) and the server dont crashes anymore, but still be something at 10:00 that make the cpu raises to the top. by test we disabled mcaffe and even with mcaffe down the server still having the same issue.

the Apple CPU uses 1.4 GHz rated 7455B chips.
the Giga CPU uses overclocked 1.25 GHz 7455B chips.
Changing the bus speed on the MLB is a bit of a chore, but the Apple CPU *MAY* overclock better.

RT Sys Manager shows 100% CPU always

When using the RT System Manager, I have found that the CPU usage is always 100% - even when all loaded VIs are idle. The chart is segmented with yellow (normal priority) tasks and white (low priority tasks) - yellow on top.

What sort of target are you using?
If it is a FieldPoint or Compact FieldPoint RT Controller, this is the normal operation of the module. With FieldPoint RT controllers, there are two programs running simultaneously; the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine and the IA Control Environment. The LabVIEW Run-Time engine is the portion that runs any LabVIEW code that you develop and download. The IA Control Environment is the program that reads/writes to the IO and publishes the data over ethernet (providing all NI Logos protocol based communication). The IA Control Environment is set to run at normal or low priority so that it shares time with your application (running in the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine).
You can reduce the time being used by the IA Control Environment by setting the Pause parameter to a value other than 0 ms (valid values are 0 - 1000 ms). By setting the Pause parameter to a non-zero value, you place the control environment to sleep. This will slow down the rate at which new values are published and updates are applied. For example, setting the Pause parameter to 1000 ms means that the channels will be read and published over the network at 1000 ms intervals, potentially causing a delay in the notification of value changes, or the application of new values from write commands that were sent to the module. Note that FieldPoint Reads/Writes performed using the FieldPoint VIs running on code that was downloaded into the module is not effected by the Pause parameter. Alternatively, you can increase the thread priority of your downloaded VIs if you need the processor to spend more time on the LabVIEW code and less on the IA Control Environment.

Speedstep isnt slowing down cpu, always at max OC. 2500K

P67A-C43 (bios 1.7)
i5 2500K
460 GTX
I left most of the bios settings alone except for chaning the multiplier to 40. its now running at 4Ghz, but its always running at 4ghz. shouldnt speedstep slow it down when its idle? Or does it just stay at its max OC all the time now that I changed the multiplier? I want it to slow down when its just idle, you know? not sure if its speedstep or turbo that is in controll here..

I flashed to the latest beta bios, 1.87. same deal
I didnt change anything initially and the speedstep works. slows down the cpu when not in use, speeds it up under load.
then all I did was changed the multiplier to 42 and now its running at 4200mhz all the time. why? am I the only one who thinks thats weird? I dont want my cpu running at max OC all the time, what isnt speedstep working when all you do is change the multiplier?? with AMD processors it still scales correctly

T410s with extremely poor performance and CPU always near 100% usage

I've had my T410s for almost a year now and lately its been starting to get extremely slow, which is odd since it used to be so fast.
Just by opening one program, Outlook, or IE or Chrome, just one window, it will start to get extremely slow and on task manger I can clearly see the CPU usage at 100% or very near.
Also another thing I noticed was the performance index on the processor dropped from 6.8 to 3.6!!!
I did a clean Windows 7 Pro 64Bit install, I have all Windows and Lenovo updates installed and the problem persits
What is happening and what should I do??

I've done that but hard drive health is also ok as you can see from the screenshot.
IAt the time of the screenshot I had just fineshed to boot up the laptop and it wasnt hot at all.
I am getting desperate here, I am unable to work with my T410s

and on fe explorer only show cpu speed 204 and on official page show up 323mhz

JBenchmark ACE shall help u in diagnosting ure CPU speed. Please make sureure on the latest firmware on ure device, as in my case for Nokia 5800XM, the old firmware before v21 enables only 192MHz and below.

Satego X200 - CPU clock at 800 MHz only

RightMark CPU Clock Utility shows, my cores are running at 0.8 GHz only. Why? the Tools says, throttling is off.
Shouldn't they run at about 2 GHz?

T42 CPU Always goes to 100%

I have downloaded the diagnostics and all looks OK. I have 2Gig of Memory and have tried the Task Mgr.-Processes-CPU-Sort hi to low- and get the spoolsv.exe at 99 and everything else at 1 . Any suggestions?

I Need HELP.!
My laptop is brand-new, bought 3 Months back from Toshiba Authorised Dealer. I am facing a BiG Malfunction.
When I am _watching any Video_ in any Player, either from Internal Hard-drive or external HDD.
_System Completely Freezes & Hangs._ No buttons work. Not even the Caps-lock nor Number-lock lights blink. The Screen totally freezes.
In Event Viewer, I get "CRITICAL ERROR", EVENT ID: 41, SOURCE: KERNEL - POWER
Only option is Force Restart!
Than it asks me either to open in "Safe-Mode" or "Start Normally".
This is happening every time.
PLEASE HELP.

I dont use Nokia PC Suite.
I contacted the Toshiba Tech Support. They suggested me to tested the laptop removing the battery & using only adapter power and if problem still persists, try using only battery. My laptop froze in both! :'(
Now they are recommending changing the RAM & trying it out!
Yes i do have the "Toshiba Fingerprint Utility"
How would i update the BIOS?
And how can i find out what Version of the iRST driver i've got?

Lag problem in CC and CC 2014

I have been searching for an answere for my lag problem and tried all kinds of stuff but I had now luck. I recorded two movies where you can observe my problem. One from Photoshop CC 2014 and one from Illustrator CC 2014.
The problem occurs both when using mouse and a cintiq. I disconnected the cintiq and restarted the system using only the mouse but still the same problem.

What zoom level are you brushing at and what kind of brush are you using. I find a lot of lag when the document has a large number of pixels and you zoom out like fit on screen. Additional lag introduced when wet mixer brush are used a large tip size increase the lag even more.
Remember Photoshop was designed to be an image editor. Paint is a nice addition but not Photoshop main gold. If you want to paint I'm sure a program designed to be a paint program would perform better and have more painters features. A paint pint program may paint on the scaled down image and apply the paint to the large document in the background where is look like Photoshop Paint on the large document layer then scale the results down to the zoom out view for there is no lag in Photoshop when you paint at the 100% or higher view.

GE620 CS:GO Unplayable at any resolution.

I have already set the application to run with the nVidia GPU and it shows in the GPU activity status bar widget.
The application does not run well even at half of its native resolution @(1280x720) instead of (1920x1080)
In comparison another old acer running intel centrino with 8600M GT runs better.
I also saw a lenovo running the same GT540M card which performed well even at 1080p
There must certainly be a problem with either the computer or the GPU itself
