Cpu , memory , temperature oid "quick and short way "

Hi all,
i am looking to find out quick way to find oid value for cpu , memory etc for ISR (3800 , 2800) , 7200 etc
however searching "cpu" snmp object navigator search box is displaying about 400 results which is not a convienent way to find out.
1 ) do the oid value for measuring one , 5 min and 5 sec cpu differers platform to platorm ? Are their any specific OID values that i can use to find cpu (one min , or 5 minutes ) for IOS routers ?
as i have tranlated standard " cpmCPUTotal1minRev " into oid value and tired to use it with EEM snmp oid event detector
and got the following debug
It give me error on 7200

119º F is excellent, the RAM helped as it's not swaping memory to the hard drive as much as before.
I upped mine to 16GB, really sweet to not have to worry until I run more than three operating systems at once

Hi,
Is there any way (rule of thumb) to determine what something will look like when printed.
for example.
I am doing a composite (hope this is the right word). It will have some people sitting at a table and I want to have another layer with another picture behind it.
I plan for the output to be fairly small (print size), say 4 x 5 or whatever.
Now, if I go to the internet and google (or mamma.com) and search for images (large) and it comes back to me, I will see pictures that are (for example) 800 x 526 pixels 367 kb, or 940 x 480 pixels 166 kb.
I would have to assume the 367 kb will print at better resolution, but if i liked the 166 kb picture better, is there a quick and dirty way to determine if it would print better (say 250 or 300 dpi or whatever) or not?
So, bottome line,
Assume my output picture will be 4 x 5 (and I want 300dpi (or is it ppi)
How do quickly look at google results and determing if they will print ok?

The closest to a one click fix in photoshop cs-cs5 is
Image>Adjustments>Shadow/Highlight or opening the
image through camera raw and using the recovery slider.

Quick and easy way to encode video files?

With out using another application.

An easy and simple way you can do this is by using Finder. It might not be the best option, depending on what you need but try it out.
Control+Click on the file and select > Encode Selected Video Files
You can choose from 480p, 720p, 1080p, Audio Only, or Apple ProRes under the Settings drop down menu.
Then choose whether you want to Encode for higher quality or greater compatability.
When you have selected your settings the window will tell you the Format, Resolution, Date rate and what it compatible with. The 480p, 720p and 1080p will use H.264 compression which is highly compressed and probably what you want to choose to compress your file.
After you have selected your settings select the destionation and if you want to delete the source file and click continue.
Done. Easy and simple, done right in finder.

A quick and easy way to add genre to songs in a playlist

I have a 160mb classic ipod and I want to shuffle only a portion of my total library tracks. I am thinking the best way to do this is to use the Smart Playlist function and shuffle by genre. But if I do that I want to change the genre label or add one to many of my 4000 songs. Is there anyway to do this easily? I tried to select every song in a playlist and right click and use Apply Sort Field, but unfortunately genre is not one of these fields! Any idea?
Or (although this may be the wrong forum), is the any way, short of making one gigantic playlist, to get my iPod to shuffle among just certain playlists?

The only way to add to files to a playlist on the player itself is to put them in the queue, then save the queue as a playlist.

Is There A Quick And Easy Way Of Avoiding "Stepped" Edges (Aliasing)?

I am using Compresor 3.0.3 to encode HDV projects to SD DVD.
I originally tried Exporting QuickTime Movies from FCP but discovered there was terrible shimmering on straight edges and severe judder when panning or if someone walked across the frame.
Using the "DVD Best Quality 90 minutes" setting smoothed out all the above problems.
Unfortunately it left noticeable stepping or aliasing on diagonal sharp lines !
This is much less of a problem than the judder but if possible I would like to get rid of it.
I have read up about the Bonsai method, but the processing times involved are enormous and not warranted by the slightness of the problem.
I have also seen an anti-alias slider in Compressor but when I used it the processing slowed almost to a halt. Maybe I was operating it incorrectly ?
Is there a quick way to get rid of the stepped edges, or is it something everyone has to live with when converting HDV to SD DVD ?

Yes it's all PAL Kyle. The problem isn't just mine though. It seems to be par for the course. From what I have read, the Bonsai method was devised to overcome it but the actual problem is really so slight, that for amateur work the cure is a bit over the top.

Your process seems a bit like the Bonsai method and I'm beginning to think that I might be exaggerating the problem in my mind.
The aggravating thing is that when I did a straight Export>To QT Movie, although I got terrible judder, there was almost no sign of aliasing ......... which is why I felt there should be a simple solution.
I'll just have to pray that they bring the prices of Blu-ray down rapidly, so there will be no need to use standard def.
I am going to experiment with shooting 25PF tomorrow to see if that helps ........ or not.

Is there a quick and easy way to reorder de-interleaved data?

I am collecting 5 channels of data through a DMA FIFO by interleaving, then recording to a TDMS file. When I check it, it's in mostly good order, but there are certain points where the channels get switched. For example, the Channel order when I open the file is 1 2 3 4 5, as expected, for several thousand elements. But at some point, it gets shifted to 4 5 1 2 3, and later 2 3 4 5 1. Left-to-right, they are always ordered correctly, so it's easy to reorder them, but very tedious with millions of elements. I have attached some sample data. I'm looking for A) a way to prevent this or B) some kind of sorting tool or script in LabVIEW or DIAdem that may sort it for me. I'll work on a sorting script in the meantime.
I am using LabVIEW 2011 Real-time and FPGA 2011, and the standard TDMS open and write functions. I also have access to DIAdem.

I've looked at everything, and so far I can't identify the problem. I believe my code is consistent with the producer-consumer architecture.
On the real-time side, I am reading data from the FIFO and writing to the TDMS in the same loop.
On the FPGA side, analog channels are read, converted to the same fixed-point format with a time stamp in a single-cycle timed loop, and then ordered into the FIFO in a for loop. I have posted the relevant parts below.
I am using C-series modules in a CompactRIO.

How to quickly and accurately find out the memory leak points?

Hi, all.I have added a option -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError in the bootstarp script of my application.
The application has been run for one day and the OOM error was thrown again. So I downloaded the hprof file and used MAT to parse it.
But after seeing the leak suspects I still have no idea what's wrong and what's the possible leak point.
Can anyone shard some experience how to find out the memory leak points quickly and accurately?
It would be more nice if you can take a loot at the leak supects.

Operating temperatures for cpu/memory

This may be much ado about nothing. Had recently upgraded hard drive on my Early 2011 MacBook Pro 13" and the fan ran nearly all the time. So I looked around for notebook coolers for one solution. I had also ordered a memory upgrade to 8gb from the stock 4gb. The new drive is a Hitachi 500gb 7200rpm 2" drive w/32mg cache. I've read others before say various 7200rpm drives sometimes ran hotter and caused increased fan activity, so in a way wasnt surprised.
So, next thing I did was buy an app from the Mac App Store called Temperature Gauge. It's a nice little utility and shows temps for many components like cpu, memory, battery, and others. My fan was running around 4600rpm and very loud most of the time with the new drive. That is until I upgraded memory to the 8gb. Now the fan speed has dropped from around 4600rpm to 2000rpm and is back to its original silent operation.
The util sets threshholds for component temps and in particular I was curious if anyone knew what the operating range of temps should my cpu or memory be within? Is there any way to find out for ex. if the cpu is at 119 degrees Fahrenheit is that within normal specs?

Whiile 4-core cpus are common in home machines still, 4 cores is pretty low nowadays in performance servers like a R730. If you aren't seeing an option for a 4-core cpu, it is likely no longer available.Remember, just because it SUPPORTS 4-core and greater cpu's doesn't mean that they OFFER them anymore.I'd guess (without actually speccing one out) that 6 or 8 is the lowest-core CPU available for a R730 now.All I see on this spec sheet for the R730 is "Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v3 product family". If there is a 4-core in that family, that doesn't mean it is going to be sold with the server.

YSLoader and distnoted using full cpu memory resources

After syncing my iPad in a Win 8.1/iTunes 11.1.4 desktop, YSloader.exe and distnoted.exe processes remain running and using up to 90-100% of computer CPU/memory.
The only way to solve it is to manually kill the processes or, in distnoted case, rename the file in order to not load it.
This problem appeared recently, after working fine for ages.

Ive been wondering for over a year now how to fix this issue. After numerous hours of research i stumbled across an apple discussion forum about AppleMobileDeviceService and APSdaemon using an extreme amount of cpu resources and not stopping unless manually killing it. Well the solution they used was to:
1. Open command prompt (run as administrator)
2. Type netsh winsock reset and hit enter
3. It will tell you to reboot your computer, do it.
So i followed those instructions with kind of a what the **** it cant hurt attitude, and after doing that the problem of ysloader and disnoted32 hogging cpu space and having to manually close them everytime no longer exists, well for the last 48 hours anyways. If the problem pops back up I will edit this post letting you know that this was only a temporary fix, but for the time being it is working great.

This is close. I did a bit more digging I have found a few more things. It appears that the input dialog is a read once on connect and then it never updates. I had my iPhone connected to my Mac when I did my convert from FILMiC Pro to my Camera Roll. Just on a whim, I dissconnected my iPhone with FCPX open and then connected it again. This time when I opened up the Import window the movie I converted showed up. It appears my issue may have simply been related to the specific series of operations that I happened to use at the time I was trying to perform an import to FCPX.
One last item of note. There is a movie in my Camera Roll that FCPX still does not see. This was a movie shot by my son-in-law of my grandaughter on his iPhone and then it was sent, via message, to my iPhone. Obviously it is a highly compressed video of unknown compression and frame rate. Regardless, FCPX does not see this video. I'm guessing it is not a .mov quicktime file but some other format specific to imessage video.

Even though you have 16gb of ram installed, 32 bit Windows can only use 4gb of it so 12gb is wasted. This is the reason you are getting not enough memory errors and is a known problem with Lightroom an 32 bit Windows during export. You need to change to 64 bit Windows.

Is there an utility for monitoring cpu/gpu temperature and fan speed for desektop m9200T?

My desktop computer m9200T running Win7 Home Premium crashes often. It seems to be temperature related.
I had tried SpeedFan, but my computer crashed everytime I ran it. SpeedFan window scrolled 20 some lines of text than the computer crashed. Is there an utility for monitoring cpu/gpu temperature and fan speed for desektop m9200T?

Only have one temperature monitoring application running or you could end up with erroneous readings.
Try PC Wizzard. Depending on your hardware, you should see temperatures for CPU, GPU and disk. At the same site you can also try HW Monitor.
I am running a custom motherboard and it comes with its own software for this purpose. HW Monitor seems fairly complete.
