I have configured CQ 5.5 locally on my machine as CRXDE is working but WCM not working Please suggest

I tried to connect CQ with Oracle Weblogic For this i deployed crx-explorer_crx.war,crx-launchpad.war in weblogic and make CQ up on port 7001 but i am not able to access miscadmin.
Can you please breif me
1)The packages we need to upload in CQ

Spotlight not working locally

I have upgraded two of my Xserves to Snow Leopard server from Tiger server and have found that Spotlight no longer works locally on the machines even though the Spotlight search window is available, I have seen reference to Spotlight server not being supported in SL server but has it been disabled completely? It still works in Snow Leopard desktop but not in server, or am I missing something? I always found it useful for searching the local machines.

I have a similar problem.I recently restored a Retrospect backup to a new internal disk and updated to 10.5.8. Now Spotlight does not work at all -continually says it is 'estimating indexing time' (for three days at last count)
I have run Cocktail and all of the various mdutil commands suggested here and elsewhere but nothing helps.
Interestingly, I started up from an external disk and it also said 'estimating etc…' but after twenty minutes or so it finished and gave me Spotlight access to both the external startup disk and my internal disk. This external had never been connected to the iMac before so it must have been accessing some index which existed on the iMac internal disk - no way was it going to index a 250g drive in 30 minutes.
When I restart from the internal I am back to no Find capabilities and interminable 'estimating…', on both external and internal startup drive. Does this mean some corruption in the internal HD system? I have run Disk Warrior, Disk Utility etc and repaired permissions and files but still same problem

Skype number not working locally

My Skype number which is a Mexico City Prefix "55" is not working correctly. When I and customers try dialling from a land line we get connected with a poor old woman who seems to be getting all my calls to her home phone. I dont have call forwarding setup and it was working ok, I tested it.I have had flyers designed and printed with the number and had them delivered to thousands of homes and businesses. I am losing business and need this sorting ASAP!!!!!

B2b application not working locally

Hi Expert,
we've got a problem developing the b2b application.
We installed a NWDI instance in the server, created a track, checked and imported all the software components needed as explained in the Dev Ext Guide for ISA 5.0, and all worked fine.
We installed NWDS and Netweaver Development Workbench on a local machine,
then we imported all the sca of the Track in the NWDS and deployed the application locally.
The deploy was succesfull, but we are not able to see locally :
- the SAP E-Commerce Administration Console (ex: http://localhost:52000/b2b/admin/index.jsp) that appears without any link to the applications on the left hand side of the page;
- any other b2b application locally (ex: http://172.16.2.8:52000/shopadmin/init.do or the same XCM
http://localhost:52000/b2b/admin/xcm/init.do) , that give an error :
Application error occurred during request processing.
Details: Error [javax.servlet.ServletException: Initialization of Extended Configuration Management failed.].
Exception id: [002264238699006A000000A3000001B800046693CD4AB0FE]
We are wondering why the b2b is correcltly working on the server but not locally.
Any response would be appreciated, please help us to solve our problem.

Please check the all the dependency and check that these are deployed on local machine or not?

TextArea Component - a href will not work locally (on CDROM)

Hi,
I have many products out there that use a TextArea Component
with an <a> tag that calls another url as in:
<a href="anotherPage.html">Click Here</a>
This functionality stop working on Flash Player 9. My old
products are useless until Adobe fixes the bug, but now I have to
figure out how a way to get around this.
Any ideas?

Thanks! That helps although the simptoms are new.
This was working on Flash Player 8, the version in which they
decided to bring about this sandboxes ordeal.
And now in Flash Player 9 it still works if I tell the getURL
to target a "_blank" page. It only breaks when I target "_self".
Now, that's not very secure to me.
But I wish they come up with a better solution. With the
sandbox issue the power of Flash has been rendered useless in local
devices. I'm think of developing in a different language just
because of this.

Screen Sharing not working locally but fine remotely

There is a lot to this, so I'll be as brief and direct as possible.
I've been using Screen Sharing to connect to a headless Mac mini for a while now (used as file and media server).
Today I updated some Brother printer and scanner drivers in the Mac mini and all as good.
I had just finished adjusting all the settings and getting my iMac to use the new shared printers when the mini made a strange "meeep" sound like an error (the error sound is something else) - and no more Screen Sharing - locally.
I used my iPhone and VNC app to connect to mini without problem (through a different wifi network), but my local iMac cannot Screen Share. File sharing and print sharing work just fine (well, a little slow now to connect initially). Seems liek a local network problem to be but I haven't been able to resolve it.
Tried Chicken of the VNC and it times out (also shows a "second" server of the same name with Host: "address resolve failed".
All connected though Time Capsule and wifi.
Ideas?

The iMac could not screen share to the Mac mini on the samee network/subnet. So I later tried to set up another iMac on a different network to connect via VNC/BTMM through the Internet (port 5900 is open on the router/WAP) and it connected fine.
I noticed that BTMM was having problems staying stable once I used it from the other iMac. So I looked into the network to see what might need changing. I had always been running with "double-NAT" without any problems before but thought this cold be contributing to the BTMM stability issue which might translate to the issue of being able to share files and printers but not VNC/screen sgaring on the same network. After fixing that and running through a few other minor adjustments (and MANY hours of troble-shooting) it is working just fine again.
So, I'm not sure if the double-NAT was the problem (had been working fine for a LOOOONG time) or if it was something else. I know you aren't "supposed" to run a double-NAT but the different networks were segregated and should not have caused any problems like I saw. I figure some change I made with the printer/scanner driver (sharing?) must have overtaxed the router....I was also getting conatcnt polling from my iMac looking for the Brother printer on mDNS which was causing a lot of exess traffic so I deleted all Broter communicatipon software just to be safe.
Anyway, I hope if anybody else has a similar problem (file/print sharing working but screen sharing/VNC not), they can look at their network to make sure they don't have double-NAT (common on DSL Internet connections, too!).

Pictures to remote users but not to local users

We use iChat a LOT to send pictures- I have employees working remotely, and we routinely pase screen shots, via clipboard, to iChat. This is a wonderful thing.
But you know what? It will not work locally: anyone here in the office cannot receive or send pictures. The message that we get: 'AIM error. An AIM error has occurred. Unable to talk directly to your buddy'.
I don't know what kind of info about our system to post here that would be important to help out, but I'll try. We have a small LAN of 6 computers. We access the internet through a NetGear Router, which, incidently, is fairly heavily configured so that I can access any of my computers remotely via Timbuktu, and for other reasons and servers.
This almost seems like a port-related issue, except that sending pictures to an address outside the LAN is smooth and clean.
Ideas?

As far as I am aware the Bonjour side should be able to send file.
Bonjour uses different ports to the AIM side of iChat
You will need to make sure the ports 5297, 5298 and 5353 are open in the MAc Firewall if it is on and in the modem.
All need the UDP protocol and 5298needs TCP as in the places where it is specified.

I am using Muse v7.1 Build 329 anchor links not working

I am using Muse v7.1 and have found that anchor links from buttons and from text boxes fail to work in IE v10 but all work fine with Chrome.
I have seen comments from others that if I use a space in the code it will work but the whole point of Muse is that I don't need to code in Dreamweaver.

Spry not working

I'm trying to get this to work and am having some difficulty.
I've got ax XML file of about 900 dog shows that I'm trying
to display the following information. The Sponsoring club, the
date, and the state in which the show is taking place. I'd like to
be able to sort alphabetically by club, by state and sort by date.
The basic Spry table seems to be the logical place to start. I've
managed to get this to work on my local machine. File references in
the code however are of the following format

Ideally I'd like to "page thru" this data displaying 15
shows at a time with details about each show in a column to the
right. I've managed to get a detail region working (again locally)
but have not been able to understand how to do the paging. I've
looked at the examples from the PagedView and the Paging examples
with no luck

its because your SpryData.js is empty, there is no data in
the file, i suggest reuploading the file and i should work

Adding multiple locales to TwitterTrends mobile sample - not working

I have been having trouble adding support for muliple locales in my application so I desided to try it out with TwitterTrends sample application. Should be easy, but not working for me...
What I did:
1. Add locale folder under assets with an en_US sub folder
          src/assets/locale/en_US
2. Create a properties file for en_US and save to src/assets/locale/en_US
     src/assets/locale/en_US/twittertrends.properties
3. Add a single resource key for the home view in 'twittertrends.properties'
     views.home.title=Twitter Trends
4. Update the TwitterTrendsHome.mxml to use fetch the title from the properties file
     title="{resourceManager.getString( 'twittertrends', 'views.home.title' )}"
5. Add the locale folder to the applications source path, I did this by modifying the additional compilter args for Flash Builder:
     -locale en_US -source-path=assets/locale/{locale}
Result:
No title is displayed..
I am not sure what I did wrong. Any help is much appreciated.
Has anyone else seen/not seen this issue?

Try adding

The problem is that the compiler isn't smart enough to tell that you're using the 'twittertrends' resource bundle unless you tell it so via [ResourceBundle] metadata. It doesn't try to analyze the ActionScript code inside of databinding expressions to determine what parameters you are passing to ResourceManager functions, etc.
If instead of databinding you use the @Resource() compiler directive, as in
title="@Resource('twittertrends', 'views.home.title')"
then it should be able to figure this out without the [ResourceBundle] metadata. But this way of doing it doesn't support switching the locale at runtime.

I have bought iPhone Serial No: 82108W75A4T in Canada as "SIM-Free", but it not work with my local SIM (Orange in Israel) card. Where to check: it is or not Factory Unlocked or have any hardware/software problems or have carrier ("adhered" any phone company)

In the local Orange: They tried with them SIM, the same negative result.
I have addressed to Canadien phone wireless carriers.

PHP Local Testing Server Not Working!

I've just set up my PHP local testing server, although its not working properly! If you could help that would be so wonderful!
Here is my current settings:
Local Site Folder: C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\
Web URL: http://localhost/valsoo/
Server Folder: C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\
Local/Network
Server Model: PHP MySQL
I'm testing the 'local testing server' with a file called site_check.php which works in the Local Site Folder root (C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\site_check.php) but fails to work when the file is within folders (C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\lesson01). Not all files work in the root either. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

If site_check.php works, your local testing server is working.
What do you mean when you say that it fails to work when the file is in a folder, such as lesson01? What actually happens? What sort of files don't work in the root? Without more details, it's impossible to help.
If site_check.php is in C:\XAMPP\htdocs\valsoo\lesson01, you should be able to access the file through http://localhost/valsoo/lesson01/site_check.php.

Uploading Files to DMP for local storage (Failover ) in DMM/DMP 5.2 is not working

Dear All,
I face a problem in making failover on the DMP , I did the following:
1- make the design and save the presentation the needed to be failover.
2- from Advanced Tasks ---> File transfer to DMP or Server and select the presentation.
3- in the Adanced Task ---> Go to URL you will find an automated file genrated .
4- Go to Digtal Media Player and select the generated URL and select the DMP and press GO.
in DMM 5.1 after the above steps,the player was restart and after it back it displayed the uploaded presentation.
but now the system running with 5.2 and it is not working ,Can any one help me to make this in DMM/DMP 5.2?

Let's not worry about failover at this time.
Let's just attempt to get the LOCAL presentation to play.
Your steps appear to be correct for transferring the
presentation to the DMP.
* From the DMM-DSM, Select the action to play the presentation
on the DMP in Question
Does the Presentation play on the DMP?
then
* go to the advanced tasks on the DMM-DSM and find the
GO TO URL for the presentation that you created.
Copy URL to your clipboard.
* Now go to the DMP-DM of the DMP where you transferred the
presentation. Go to the Display Actions-->URL to be displayed
and Paste the GO TO URL here then press the GO button
Does the Presentation play on the DMP?

After upgrading ACS 3.3.1 to 4.2 on windows the local database is not working

I have upgaded the ACS 3.3.1 for windows server to 4.2. Everything went fine but the local database is not working.
The CD is an upgrade kit from 3.x to 4.2 on windows. I tried to install directly the 4.2 I was able to install but integration with AD/LDAp is not working. Anysay its an upgrade kit so I cant expect it shoud work when install drectly the 4.2 but by upgrading from 3.3 to 4.2 everything should work fine.
I followed the upgradation path as recomended.
Also we have a requirment that once it is upgraded to 4.2 we need to shift the whole thing from the physical server to a virtual machine on VMware ESX server 3.5.
Can anybody pls guide me if anything else to do after the upgradation.

First of all I was facing a problem of restoring the old database of 3.3 to 4.2. Somehow I overcame that issue by following the below steps. Now local authentication is working fine but AD/other External database authentication is not working. As you told the setting for the unknown users are configured to fetch the credentials from the external database if it is not in the local database.
Do we need to do anything in the AD itself?

Steps for ACS upgrade to 4.2 version
Below are the requested steps mentioned for the up gradation from ACS 3.3.2 to ACS 4.2.
        1)     Take a configuration backup from existing ACS. ACS--->System
configuration----> ACS Backup
2)    now if you have ACS 3.3.2 on server. take backup of the ACS
3)   Insert the cd or if you have the set up on the system then Run the setup of ACS 3.3.4. During the process it will prompt you to
upgrade existing configuration. Make sure you check that option else we will
loose the database. Now you need to hit next.next to finish the 3.3.4 upgrade.
4)     Once you are at 3.3.4, take a backup and keep it handy.
5)     Run the setup of 4.1.1. During this process it will prompt you to
upgrade existing configuration. Make sure you check that option else we will
loose the database. Now you need to hit next.next to finish the 4.1 upgrade.
6)Once you are at 4.1.1.24 take a backup and keep it handy.
7)     Run the setup of 4.2. During this process it will prompt you to
upgrade existing configuration. Make sure you check that option else we will
loose the database. Now you need to hit next.next to finish the 4.2 upgrade.
8)     Once you are at 4.2 take a backup and keep it handy. Now run the
patch 12 and take a backup again.
9)     Now fresh install 4.2 on your new production server and install patch
12. Restore the 4.2 patch 12 backup and you should be all set.

Flash working fine in local system... Not working in the live site - Need Help :(

I have a flash project, its working fine in local system and checked this file with uploading in someother websites, its working fine there too, but the same file is not working in live

Hi Thanks for your reply. Actually u8coach.swf this an existing file, it is working. i have updated some details in this file and uploaded it again with the name u8coach_test.swf its not working. this same file working another server http://deals2deal.com/krgtech/u8coach_test.swf. this is what my issue. This file is working another server after my updation, but its not working it's own server after my updation. Can you find the problem what it is??
