CQ45-144TX Bluetooth Driver
I have just re-formatted the drive and reinstalled the Vista OS with the recovery CD created long time ago.
Everything is going smooth except that I can't get the bluetooth to work now, it is off all the time as I have seen in Wireless Assistant no matter what I do. I am suspecting a missing/incorrect driver being installed and causing the device to be disabled.
Would appreciate someone to help on this issue.
we both gave you the same driver.. sorry . paul's post was not visible at that time..
however go to device manager...
Click start >> type device manager >> press enter..
do you se anything related to blutooth??
do you see any device with yellow mark?
do you see any device under "unknown devices" category?

Hi,
I have tried installing "Dell Wireless 1701
802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0+HS Driver "
But I saw neither wireless nor Bluetooth was defined.
As the drivers listed below are only the driver for wireless and bluetooth, I almost tried all of them, except the last three.

I had to install Dell Wireless 1702 WiFi +
Bluetooth Driver
The wireless adapter was defined by this driver, however, the Bluetooth still has an exclamation mark in front of it, and when the Dell WLAN and Bluetooth client installation finished, a pop up message said that Windows couldn't install the device
well, although there was a folder added in documents folder named 'Bluetooth Folder'
Yes, the Bluetooth was named with 'Generic Bluetooth adapter' before installing 'Driver above'. However, after installing the driver above, the Bluetooth adapter named with ' Dell wireless 1702 Bluetooth v3.0". But as you see it's
still not working will.
The sceen shot shows the device manger before installing Dell
Wireless 1702 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver
These screen shots shows the device manger after installing Dell
Wireless 1702 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver
I've lit windows detect the operating program for this device on the internet, it said "Windows has detected that the operating program of this device is up to date. As this screenshot shows.
What should I do because nothing lift to try? If you have a look at the ninth drivers in my previous message, you will see that no other drivers for Bluetooth lift.
Also, I have tried to install Intel
Centrino Wireless-N 1030 WiFi Driver
But I have been told that "the installation is blocked', This package of installation cannot be installed on your system' I don't know what this
means, is it because Dell Wireless 1702 WiFi +
Bluetooth Driver is being installed
Could you please take some of your preciout time out to read carefully my points below to finish this problem?
first:
Yes, if you had a look at my first post, you would have seen that I really have downloaded and installed the drivers suitable for bluetooth, which was only Dell
Wireless 1702 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver, which made the bluetooth recognized by Windows 7(64Bit). However, the bluetooth in the device manager still has an exclamation mark as it is shown in the device manager.
I don't have any other drviers which can do more than the what Dell
Wireless 1702 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver did because I have tried all the drivers listed under 'Network', exept the what are for Etherent.
Yes, when I have tried adding the bluetooth between two laptops(Mohammad and Nasreen). the bluetooth was added for both laptops as you see in these screenshots below:
The Bluetooth devices of Nasreen's laptop whose bluetooth is having some problems in Device mangage.
The Bluetooth devices of Mohammad's laptop whosse Bluetooh is defined well in device manager.
But there is still problem in the device managre as shown in the screenshot listed before.
Second: (Important) That when I want to send files or recieving between two bluetooth added in either laptop, I could send them. Also, when I open the Mohammad's bluetooth added in Nansreen's laptop( screenshot
below), I can show what is inside it.
However, when I open the the Nasreen's bluetooth addd in Mohammad's laptop, I noticed no reponse at all because as you see that disconnected is written in fornt "Nasreen-Pc" as this screenshot:
Although sometimes Nasreen-Pc gets connected as screenshot below, but I am still not able to open the Bluetooth folder of Nasreen-pc from Mohammad-pc. When trying to do that, no response is there.
In other times, Nasreen-pc gets connected for a while, but it comes back disconnected.
Third:: I noticed that the name of Laptop whose Bluetooth was added listed in 'My computer' for the laptop whose Bluetooth is having some problems in the device manager.(First Screen shot below) However,
the name of the laptop whose Bluetooth is having problems wasn't listed on other laptop's "my computer"(Second Screen shot below)
Finally: : when I clicked "right-click" on "Nasreen-PC" and then clicking on "detecting and troublshooting issues", I found that windows informed me that :
But which driver should I reinstall because I have already installed the Dell
Wireless 1702 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver almost twice?
A man should convert his anger and sadness into strength to continue living in this life.Certain driver packages contain drivers from some of the essential services only and for additional services, separate drivers must be installed. Additionally, the service is installed only if a compatible device is installed (or paired).
Therefore, you are seeing the error.
If you are using the Bluetooth L2CAP Interface and Bluetooth Remote Control services and not able to install the services, you can try unpairing the device, restart the PC, pair the device and then check. If that too fails, you need to install a suitable
driver, sometimes even other OEM drivers solve the issue. You can Bing/Google about this. You can also contact Dell Support for more information.
Balaji Kundalam
Thanks a lot,
I really didn't understand what you mean with in your first part the service is installed only if a compatible device is installed (or paired).
The Bluetooth is integrated with
the laptop, then where other services will come from, all service are related to Bluetooth.
If there are some additional services not related to Bluetooth,
then how can I either let them functioning well or disable them in order to get rid of the yellow exclamation mark
on the name of my laptop in the Device and printers.
Also, I really have installed a
BCBT7(Broadcom Bluetooth) for HP which really defined the same Bluetooth issue,
Device manager after installing the entire setup of driver BCBT7(Broadcom Bluetooth) on HP laptop
but when trying to install the same
BCBT7(Broadcom Bluetooth) on Dell, I faced the error below, although there is an icon for Bluetooth in
the system tray. Also, the Bluetooth is integrated as
you have seen in the device manager.
You didn't answer me: Third:: I noticed that the name of Laptop whose Bluetooth was added listed in 'My computer' for the laptop whose
Bluetooth is having some problems in the device manager.(First Screen shot below) However, the name of the laptop whose Bluetooth is having problems wasn't listed on other laptop's "my computer"(Second Screen shot below)

[REQUEST] rtl8723au_bt bluetooth driver for lenovo yoga 13
Hello.
I have a lenovo yoga 13 laptop with 8723 wireless card.
Wifi is working bacause of dkms-8723au-git package. As I know, in 3.15 kernel it will work out of the box and lwfinger will no longer maintain this source code.
Bluetooth is not working and there is no bluetooth driver in aur. It is required to install another package from here https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8723au_bt.
I cannot build this package, because when I run make command it ends with error make[1]: *** /lib/modules/3.14.4-1-ARCH/build: No such file or directory. Also there was written about no dkms support in code. But I cannot fix it, because I am still noob in Archlinux. And for some reason it is written "Support kernel version 2.6.32~3.13.0" in readme.txt. I have already 3.14.4-1-ARCH kernel.
Could anyone help me to fix that and make aur package for other people to get bluetooth work on lenovo yoga 13?I think bluez5 is ok, because when I run bluetoothctl it can detect my cluetooth controller now. However, I cannot start working with it

How do you use the bluetooth VIs with a Microsoft Bluetooth Driver?
How do you use the LabVIEW Bluetooth VIs with the Microsoft Bluetooth driver? I have been trying with no such luck.
I want to use 2 computers to talk to each other using the bluetooth VIs. Eventually, I think we would like a PDA/phone to talk to a custom built electronics board with Bluetooth. But for now, I would just like 2 computers to talk and then eventually talk to our own device.
One is a desktop w/ the Belkin F8T012 USB adapter. It installs fine with the Belkin driver (but I know I need to use the Microsoft Driver in order to use the LabVIEW VIs, but I have tried to get Windows to install its own but it says it is a BCM92045DG-Flash. It says it cannot install it because it cannot find the necessary hardware. I thought this USB adapter was on the approved Bluetooth devices list? What else should I try? Another Bluetooth USB adapter?
The other computer is a Dell Latitude 820. It has a built in Bluetooth module which I believe is the Dell 350 Bluetooth Module. On this machine I have been able to setup a COM port with a bluetooth device (blood glucose meter). It came with a serial port interface which we modifed to go through a bluetooth interface. It comes up as COM40. We have been able to communicate to it using their program originally designed to talk through a serial port. But we would like to use the Bluetooth VIs in LabVIEW. I can't even use the Discover VI. Perhaps it is not using the Microsoft Driver as well. Do I just uninstall the driver and then try to have Windows install its own driver? Do you have any other recommendations?
Thanks,
JaviHi Javi,
This sounds like an issue with Windows and your specific Bluetooth devices. As you mentioned, the LV Bluetooth VI's do require that the devices use the Windows drivers. Take a look at this link for specific requirements for using Bluetooth with LabVIEW. Also, you can take a look at our Developer Zone tutorial on designing Bluetooth applications a found here. Regarding your device drivers, sometimes it is as easy as uninstalling the driver and then letting Windows discover the device and fine its own driver. You could check out the Microsoft Knowledgebase for more information. Thanks and have a great day!

Bluetooth driver won't work on my Satellite Pro 6100
Hello
My Bluetooth stopped working after some updates (I forget what they were!). I have attempted many times to reinstall the BT driver from Toshiba but it just "stops" part of the way through the install - I have left it for well over 30 minutes at this point.
I have looked in the system/hardware/other devices and there is something called SiW, I'm assuming this is the BT device as I can't find anything labelled Bluetooth. I should point out that Bluetooth did work before and nothing has been removed from the computer!
Anybody any ideas/solutions to this problem?
Thanks
AndrewHi
Its not easy to say what why you cannot install Bluetooth driver.
I would recommend to reinstall the Toshiba Bluetooth completely form the OS.
Be sure that MS Bluetooth was also removed
Then reboot the unit and try to install the Toshiba Bluetooth stack again. -

Bluetooth Driver In Windows 8.1 is Not Working [Model Pavilion 15 E007TU]
Sir Where is Th Bluetooth Driver for Windows 8.1 for the Laptop of Model Pavilion g6 pavilion 1318ax
In Windows 8.1 Bluetooth Not WorkingHi @iamvinod34 ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Pavilion g6-1318ax Notebook and needing help with Bluetooth. Here is a link to fixing Bluetooth issues.
If that does not help try looking at the section in this document Labeled: Make sure that wireless communication is turned on. Sometimes just turning on and off the Bluetooth helps.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system. If an updated is needed this could cause this issue.
Hope this helps.

Can't Install bluetooth driver on Windows 8 64 bit. MSI GE620DX
I cant install the provided Windows 8 64bit Bluetooth driver from the MSI download page. Tried many times, Reboot Uninstall current driver, install again, and ETC.
I had sent a question to MSI already, it's been a month already since I sent a ticket and I still got no update or fix from MSI Support.
Does MSI support usually take this long to provide fix or reply for this kind of issues? I felt disregarded cause I haven't got any reply aside from the advise to download the driver on the MSI download page; which is the driver that is not working. I've already sent them a message that It won't work. -_-
The Bluetooth function of my Laptop is useless as of now.
Does anyone here encountered a Driver problem similar to mine?I finally got this fixed. I uninstalled all Bluetooth related drivers and programs using Ccleaner and clean all its traces in the registry as well, rebooted and tried installing the provided Bluetooth driver provided on the MSI Download Page and succeeded.

Best Regards,Hi Mwahab,
I am glad to hear that your issue has been resolved after uninstalling the graphic driver, and now your query is that you wanted to if your system is shipped with additional graphic card.
Below is the link where you can verify the system hardware configuration by giving the complete system MTM (Machine Type Model) number, if you provide us the MTM number we can assist on that.

Hope this helps.

Need advice on bluetooth driver and software download
*PLEASE HELP*: just bought a Nexus bluemicro pro bluetooth v2.1 dongle. and ive damaged the disk it came with when I was opening the packet.
The disk says: Toshiba bluetooth driver and software bluetooth BT1.2/2/0/2.1.
Does anyone know if there is a download for this online somewhere or will I have to go out and buy another one? I'm not clued up when it comes to computers and would very much appreciate any advice and help.... I;m using windows vista so it would have to be compatible. On Toshiba support and download page you can download Toshiba BT stack but it is for usage with Toshiba notebooks.
You bought non-Toshiba product so for download contact Nexus or visit Nexus support page. -
Re: Can't reinstall windows 7 bluetooth driver
I have a new Portege T210 laptop. Bluetooth was working and then stopped, saying it wasn't enabled when it was. I am using the in built bluetooth.
I did a System restore and now when I turn on bluetooth, windows 7 home premium prompts me to install the bluetooth driver. However when it starts the progress bar it stops a little way in, and just stays there saying please wait.
I have tried several times, including rebooting machine.Thelongest I have waited is more than one hour, it just sits there saying it is installing the driver.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I really don't want to do a system recovery.I appreciate the input but I have already doen two system restores for other reasons. I have too much setup now to go back to square one. Windows 7 is causing me no end of problems. I can't install any anti virus sftware except Windows Security Essentials, email pop 3 software doesn't work and peer to peer software (VUZE) doesn't work either. All the programmes can't contact the server, Win 7 seems to be blocking everything except its own programmes. Email programmes I tried are Thunderbird, Eudora, Outlook and the Win 7 one.
This machine is starting to look like a lemon.
A system recover seems ridiculous, the machine is 2 weeks old and the shop where I bought it alrady did a system restore back to their OS installation point, then Norton didn't work at all and I can't uninstall it. I have always found Norton to be hopeless and would never install their software. That may be the problem I guess. -
1st word, so sorry about my poor English !
My device here is : macbook pro mid 2012 MD101 (MacOSX & Windows 7 Ultimate, my question here's on Windows 7) !
I have a bluetooth mouse and a speaker, at my workplace I need to use 2 devices wireless, although they have both got wires (for aesthetics ya know )
I've also installed full bootcamp drivers, but bluetooth driver's still not work at all ! So can someone show me how to install bluetooth driver correctly, please ?
Many thanks to ya all !There are a number of posts related to accessing and/ copying issues between Windows Vista / 7 and AirPort Disks. Two potential solutions being forwarded are: 1) Changing the LAN Manager authentication level, and/or 2) Disabling the Windows Search feature.
To change the LAN Manager authentication level:
From the Windows Vista / 7 desktop, click Start
Search for: security
Click 'Local Security Policy'
Goto Local Policies > Security Options
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: LAN Manager authentication level'
Change level to: Send LM & NTLM responses
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP based (including RPC) clients'
De-select 'Require 128-bit encryption'
Click OK
To disable Windows Search:
Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features
On the right-hand side, click "Turn Windows features on/off"
Scroll down, and de-select "Windows Search".
Press OK, close all windows and restart.
A third "solution," that has worked for me, is verify that both the AirPort base station and the Win7 PC are using the exact same Workgroup Name. In my case, I use "WORKGROUP" (without the quote marks) for this name. From the AirPort Utility, you would enter this value on the Disks > File Sharing tab. On Win7, Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Change Settings > Change > Workgroup -

What exactly are you trying to achieve by connecting via bluetooth? If you have a tethering plan, that's the only thing that's supported via bluetooth to a computer. It cannot sync or transfer files via bluetooth. Those are not features of the iPhone.
