CR runtime SP1 and SP2 on WS 2003 and IIS 6 report is blank in reportviewer

Hi All,
Could you please help me, No image problem in following scenarios,
Using asp.net 3.5
WS 2003, IIS6, CR runtime 2008 with SP1 = > No images
WS 2003, IIS6, CRruntime 2008 with SP2 => No images
WS 2003, IIS6, CRruntime 2008(No SP) => Works allright.
Of-course I can downgrade but is there any workaround, to combination with SP2 or SP1.

EDIT: Its not like no image but first page is empty, only toolbar is shown. when I export all data is shown in PDF.

Well, I'll go along with something wrong. If you can give me precise steps in how to duplicate the issue. I would like you to also try one of our web samples from here;

I recommend vbnet_web_simplepreview and see if you can duplicate the issue with the sample app.
Remember that more than likely, you are not the only one running SP 1 and / or SP 2 and I do not see other reports of the issue you describe in these forums...

Availability of Runtime Statistics and Passing to Reports/DB Tables

Hi,
We're hoping to improve Crystal Report performance, and in order to do so, we're hoping runtime statistics or monitoring is logged.
Are runtime statistics (Crystal Reports Pass 1/Pass 2 start time/elapsed time/finish time, as well as the individual server nodes' performance) logged when an instance of a crystal report is run? If so, are there default directories such as /logging, /auditing that exist? Or does this have to be configured?
Can these statistics be passed into the report when it runs as a formula or command, or maybe a script be produced to be used to update an Audit Table for example?

I would also suggest you to go through the blogs made by Manikandan Elumalai with regards to query builder. Quilder will help to locate the time duration took by an instance.

BI and ECC Reconciliation report giving blank value instead of ZERO

Hi,
We have a report for reconciliation where in if the ECC and BI balance matches, it will show Zero (0) in the final field. My question is *for some of them it is showing Zero(0) and for few rows it is givng blank values* even after ECC and BI balance matching...Why is it giving blank instead of showing 0 (ZERO) ....is there any setting we need to make??
point to be noted is only few rows are getting blank and few rows it is showing '0'
pls suggest...

Without additional details of the rows that have blanks vs zeros, here is a guess...
The rows with blank final value have no records in ECC or BI. You can probably define the formula in such a way that it always gives zero for all rows.

Exchange 2010 SP1 and SP2 are no longer supported.

Exchange 2010 SP3 is the minimal version that should be installed on your Exchange Servers and just may contain the fixes you need to solve your issue.
Support for 2010 SP1 and SP2 has ended.

IWS 6.0 SP1 and SP2 throwing startup messages on to console

iWS 6.0 SP1 and SP2 on HP-UX 11.0 are throwing the following messages on to the console constantly

Ananda,
If you're starting the server from the command line, this is normal behavior. All these messages will output to the console and logs. If you start this from the GUI interface, the output will go to the logs.

Where is System Center 2012 for download? I see Sp1 and R2

I have a DPM 2010 install that I am going to upgrade to 2012.
After doing a bunch of reading on here and other documentation,
a DPM 2010 -> 2012 in place upgrade is supported
but 2010 -> 2012 Sp1 or R2 is not supported.
Ok fine...Where the hell can i download the plain 2012?!?! i can't find for download on microsoft's site at all.
Can someone help me out with this?!?
Sp1 and R2 i can find all day long, i even find the 2010 eval version but the 2012 without sp1 is nowhere to be seen.

If you are planning to upgrade to 2012 R2, when doing the planning make sure your DPM Install is running on a atleast Server 2008 R2 with SP1, and that your SQL Server that is hosting the DPM Database is running atleast SQL Server 2008 R2
with SP2.
Also make note that if you bring DPM up to 2012 R2 you can for the time being not backup Server 2003 and Server 2008 operating systems.

Report Server URL field no longer visible in Dashboard Designer after applying SP1 and the October 2011 CU

Environment: 1 WFE on W2K8Ent x64 SP2 | 1 App Server on W2K8 Standard x64 SP2 | 1 Dedicated SQL Server 2008 R2

I recently applied SP1 and the October 2011 CU (Server updates, not foundation) on both the WFE and the App server and now I'm experiencing an issue with PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer in that when I want to deploy a new SSRS report, I no longer have
the ability to indicate the report server url under the report settings section because it's missing. I also do not have the ability to preview the report nor can I modify any of the settings like Zoom or Format as they're greyed out.
I've been researching for several days now and cannot find anything to remedy my issue. I have reviewed the upgrade logs on both the WFE and App server ... I ran the product config wizard after applying the SP and the update ... Sharepoint is configured
to use Windows Integrated Mode for the reporting services configuration via Central Admin.
I noticed that the web config for my app was updated and compared that against a backup of the old web config and I mainly see diffs in version references for reporting services, etc. (Ex. version 10 in the old, 11 in the new/updated config file).
Anyone else out there have this same issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Ultimately, I ended up installing SharePoint 2010 RTM on a separate system and then copied the folder with the PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer and put that on my PC at work. If you open a PerformancePoint report inside SharePoint, it
will default to the version of the update so be sure to open up the designer from wherever you store it on your PC. You'll know if it's the right one anyways if the URL is missing.
Also, once you've opened the RTM version, this will be the one that opens from the SharePoint shortcut via the Windows Start->All Programs->SharePoint Folder.

Upgrade App-V 5.0 sp1 to SP2 Hotfix4

long time reader first time poster
we currently have a App-V 5.0 SP1 native environment, we deploy the App-V client via SCCM and use the MSI in the command line ( msiexec
/i "appv_client_MSI_x86.msi" /q /norestart ACCEPTEULA=1 /l "C:\<log directory>" )
I would like to upgrade our environment to SP2 HF4 ( in a test lab first and then schedule to live )
Now is it better to create 2 new SCCM packages one for SP2 and one for the HF4? or is there a way to combine them?
also would you put the ClientUI install in the same package?
any advice or web URL either way would be very much appreciated

just to add, I am unable to get Hotfix 4 installed successfully either via a command line ( Msiexec /p mspfile ) or right clicking the MSP and selecting Apply
The HF installs and once you reboot you are no longer able to use App-V 5.0 Client UI or any of the App-V delivered apps.
The client has SP1 and was then upgraded to SP2 using the command line in my top post without the hotfix installed works as expected.
Does anyone have a guide to how to use the MSP file?
Update - it appears that the Hotfix removes the SP2 client

Patch Plumtree Foundation 6.0 SP1 to SP2

Hi,
we would at like to patch our installation of 6.0 SP1 to SP2 which is available since April 2008 (we cannot upgrade to 6.5 or even 10gR3 yet).
I think I have downloaded everything related to Foundation 6.0 and searched all possible plumtree, bea and oracle sites now but I didn't find any instructions how to apply the service pack.
The only document which was updated in 2008 are the Release Notes (http://one.bea.com/portal/server.pt?open=18&objID=2795854&mode=2&in_hi_userid=2&cached=true). The installation plan which was part of the 460MB download has a section for SP1 installation only and that's it.
So are we supposed to install the whole thing AGAIN to get SP2? Did anybody ever patch 6.0 SP1 to SP2?

AFAIK, BEA doesn't release standalone maintenance pack for 6.x basically. In other words, the only way to upgrade is to use the 6.0 SP2 or 6.1 MP2 installer on top of previous version.
The only patch I know is for 6.1 MP1, there is a patch. So after applying, it should be 6.1.1.1.
I've done a the following upgrade so far, using the new installer and they work:
6.1 -> 6.1 MP1 -> 6.1.1.1 -> 6.1 MP2
6.5 -> 6.5 MP1
I haven't done the 6.0sp1 to 6.0sp2 but I guess it is the same thing. Do remember to run the installer on to upgrade all related components, check your deployment architecture.

Do I need to do anything to the domain, or just rebuild and redeploy the ear file?

I didn't do anything to the domain, but I did "install portal" and "install
weblibs" too.
I first did only the update too I think, work perfectly till I made a simple
jsr-168 portlet with the wlw wizard that didn't work.

Can VC 2005 Runtime SP1 patch be installed for Adobe Premiere V4?

I have an HP Media Center PC (2005) running XP-Media Center. Have about 98 GB memory left. I am trying to finish a slide show in Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0. Have run into the same Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error that I see a lot of people are having with different Adobe programs. I am sort of an intermediate user and am wondering if and how I should try to install VC 2005 Runtime SP1 patch. I get confused trying to read about installing it and uninstalling prior versions etc.
I have tried reinstalling my Premiere program and when it shows it is installing the library the light doesn't blink on my DVD tray. Making me think that it must not be working on that section of the CD. Hope someone can help.

Thanks for the info. If you have Scaled the images to match, or nearly so, the Project's Frame Size, you have ruled that out.
Now, a little bit of background. While certain "memory functions," like Windows Virtual Memory (Page File) do relate to "memory," the HDD is separate from RAM, which will be installed chips on the MoBo. Within some guidelines, there can be similarities, but in most, they are different.
As for the pixel x pixel dimensions, your Project will have a Frame Size, say 702 x 480 for an NTSC DV Project. The pixel x pixel dimensions of your stills can be gathered from the Info Panel, with a still Selected, or from a program, like Photoshop/Photoshop Elements.
Glad to hear that you defrag often.
As for the Page File size, with a 32-bit OS, then I normally go with a static Page File (so it's the same size all the time), and at about 2x, or 2.5x that of my installed RAM.
I do agree that Adobe's T/S could be improved upon, and they claim to be working on that. I have seen improvements, but they ARE slow. That is the way it is in a major corporation. Often, good things take so very much time.

I am trying to upgrade exchange server 2007 to exchange server 2010 but my exchange server 2007 is running sp1 which cannot be directly upgraded to exchange 2010. To do this I need to first upgrade my exchange server 2007 sp1 to sp2, i am stuck because I

My recommendation to you is to upgrade it to Exchange 2007 SP3 with latest Rollup Updates.
Note: Before you start installing the SP3 make sure you upgrade the AD Schema for Exchange 2007 SP3.

XP SP1 and Signed drivers

Ever since I downloaded XP SP1 and re-installed some of the same drivers I had from MSI (vga/lan/sound) for my 845G Max L board, the drivers are no longer digitally signed. I think it has to do with something about HCT 10.0 and HCT 11.0. Does any know what is going on? Is MSI going to re-certify their drivers for HCT 11.0?

As of Firefox 13.0 one needs at minimum Windows XP SP2. The last to work on SP1 was Firefox 12.0

XP Profession SP1 or SP2

Does anyone know of a way to check and see if my version of XP Professional is SP1 or SP2? I've had it for a while and had it loaded on an evil Windows based machine...since then that machine has passed away. I previously had it running through parallels and ran great. Had the random shut down issue and uninstalled it to be safe. Considering boot camp. Suggestions? Help? Anti-Windows? Input would be awesome. Thanks

It should be printed on the disk itself whether it has SP1 or SP2. If it is SP1, you can create an SP2 disk through a process called slipstreaming, but you do need a PC in order to do it.
