CR XI Error message "package package name does not exist"

I am trying to use the Java API that is available for Crystal reports XI. I am using NetBeans v.5.5.1 for developing my Java code.
The application does not seem to find the Crystal reports Java libraries, I cannot compile it successfully. For instance, the statement
import com.crystaldecisions.reports.sdk;
shows an error message "package com.crystaldecisions.reports.sdk does not exist"
I have installed the Java SDK under the web/web-lib directory in my NetBeans project folder, i.e. I copied all the jar files from c:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\java\lib into the web-lib directory because this is the directory where I have all the other library files that I am using in my NetBeans project.
I am creating instances of the classes ReportAppSession and ReportClientDocument in my java code.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.
Adriana

Hi Adriana
Do you have the jrcerom.jar file in your lib folder.
This is the jar file which includes the package com.crystaldecisions.reports.sdk .
Thanks

  • Error message FI 759: Fund does not exist in FM area

    Hill!
I have to make a distribution in CO-OM (tr KSV5) according to fund
But if I customize fund as sender, choose fund from the fund catalog  and make a formal chek of cycle I see an error message FI 759: Fund does not exist in FM area. How can I make it go away?

    Hi Irina,
As per the note 489315, you must choose a layout that contains the exact data for the active objects.
When planning for non-FM company codes you will have to change the profile/layout that only contain the elements that are active in the company code.
If you encounter error: KAFF002 while doing the above then please can you see if point 3 of note 555134 will help to by-pass the message.
Once you add the field Fund and set it to optional you should be able to use planning.
    Note 555134:
    3.  The fields of the Funds Management are defined as 'Required entry
fields' in the standard layouts, in other words depending on the
permissibility of the initial value for a field an entry is always
demanded. To prevent this there are two options:
        a) Copy the desired standard layout into an own (transaction KP65,
KPG5, OPO1) and via "Extras -> Variables -> Variables definition'
set the corresponding field to 'Optional". Then, add this layout
to your planner profile with transaction KP34.
        b) Implement the attached program ZK555134 (correction instruction
461025). After the entry of planning area and layout all fields
of the Funds Management are set depending on your selection of
'Optional' or 'Not optional' (standard system). Like this you can
also change standard layouts. The check for the fields for which
'initial' is not a valid value is still carried out.
If you want to use FUND Accounting, I suggest you to read note 518610 for your reference. This note contains information about FUND Accounting and its effect.
If you only want to use 'Fund' in Funds Management, you do not have to activate the 'Fund' account assignment element.
If you activated the FUND account assignment element, which is at CLIENT level activation, the fund would always have to be filled as a required  entry field in CO, FI-AA and HR for all company codes in the client concern.
Please also refer to notes 625262 and 659086.
or re-import the standard planning layout from the client 000. In the note 320197 is descriped how to do this.
I believe this will resolve your issue.
    Best Regards,
    Vanessa.

  • RDS Gateway + Smart Card Error [ The specified user name does not exist.]

I have the following Windows Server 2008 R2 servers:
addsdc.contoso.com, AD DS Domain Controller for contoso.com
adcsca.contoso.com, AD CS Enterprise CA, CDPs/AIAs published externally.
fileserver.contoso.com, RDS Session Host for Administration enabled
    rdsgateway.contoso.com, RDS Gateway enabled
    tmgserver.contoso.com, 'Publishing' rdsgateway.contoso.com but with pass-through authentication
And the following Windows 7 PCs:
    internalclient.contoso.com
    externalclient.fabrikam.com
There's no trust between the domains, the external client is completely separate on the internet but the CA certificate for contoso.com has been installed in the trusted Root CA store. All servers have certificates for secure RDP.
I enrolled for a custom 'Smart Card Authentication' certificate with Client Authentication and Smart Card Logon EKUs from the CA, stored on my new Gemalto smart card using the Microsoft Base Smart Card CSP.
    From internalclient.contoso.com, I can RDP to fileserver.contoso.com
using the smart card just fine with no certificate errors.
    From externalclient.fabrikam.com, I can RDP to fileserver.contoso.com
via rdsgateway.contoso.com using a username and password just fine with no certificate errors.
    From externalclient.fabrikam.com, I can RDP to fileserver.contoso.com
via rdsgateway.contoso.com using the smart card to authenticate to the gateway, and a username and password to authenticate to the end server, just fine.
BUT from when using a smart card to authenticate to the end server via the gateway, it fails with:
The specified user name does not exist. Verify the username and try logging in again. If the problem continues, contact your system administrator or technical support.
When I move the client into the internal network and try the connection again (still via the RDS Gateway), it works fine - the only thing I can think of is being outside the network and not being able to contact the AD DS DC for Kerberos is causing the issue
    - but I'm pretty sure this is a supported scenario?
The smart card works fine internally, the subject of the certificate is the user's common name (John Smith) and the only SAN is
[email protected] which matches the UPN of the user account as it was auto-enrolled.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

I had a similar issue where I am using a smart card through a Remote Desktop Gateway. I had to disable Network Level Authentication (NLA) on the destination Remote Desktop Server. If anyone has another way around this, I'd appreciate hearing it. I'd prefer
    to use NLA.

  • Error message: local root folder does not exist

    Greetings,
I'm working on a MacPro 2x2.66Ghz, running DW from CS2 and
through a strange combination of keyboard keystrokes while cleaning
my keyboard yesterday I inadvertantly renamed my hard drive "-OX"
from it's default. I can't seem to remember what the default name
of my hard drive was, but i think it was simply "Macintosh". I've
renamed it that, but on launching DW for the first time today I got
an error message saying that "The local root folder, web_content,
does not exist" and it gave me the option to manage sites and set
my local root folder again. Is there a way to re-establish my local
root folder for every site that I currently manage in one swipe, or
do I have to go in and manually do this for each and every Site
    within my Files panel?
    Thanks for your ideas,
    Pedro

Actually, it solved one issue but seems to have created
another! So, at least now my Sites are all working okay with
respect to a local root folder. But let's say I open an .html file
by double-clicking it in the Files panel. With that file active if
I choose Preview in Browser I get a "File Not Found" error message
from Firefox.... even though it looks like the path to that file is
    correct.
One thing I notice about the path in the address bar of
Firefox is that there are 3 forward-slashes after the file: bit at
    the beginning of the line.
For example, the page generating the error has this address:
    file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/peter/Sites/MySite/web_content/index_vertical.html
If you notice carefully there are 3 slashes at the beginning
of the line. If I go to "Manage Sites" I have the settings set to
"links relative to document" and my root folder and images folder
show the proper locations. What have I done?
The error message also says the following in the details
section: Firefox can't find the file at /Macintosh
    HD/Users/peter/Sites/MySite/web_content/index_vertical.html.
so there's a forward-slash before the hard drive.... is that
    okay?
    Thanks for your ideas!
    Pedro

  • Workflow: Error Message: OL 826: Object does not exist.

    Hi,
We are in 4.6C version and I'm using the business object DATESPECS. I have developed a custom object with supertype of the standard.
The error is coming when I test the businees object in transaction SWO1. I need to know how to assembly the object key for raise the event from a customer program with function module SWE_EVENT_CREATE.
I really need some help with this issue... thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Mayra.

    Hi,
In your program take a variable say lv_key of type SWO_TYPEID.
Use concatenate statement and concatenate all the fields i.e.<i>Personnel no,
Subtype, Object ID, lock indicator , to, from</i> and <i>record number</i> values in this variable <b>lv_key</b>.
Then you can use this key in FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE.
    Hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Akshay
Note : If FM SAP_WAPI_EVENT_CREATE is available in your system , pls use the same instead of SWE_EVENT_CREATE

  • Error while compiling JMS example - package javax.jms does not exist

    Dear All,
I am a newbie trying to use JMS. I have downloaded EE 5 SDK and installed (it contains Message Queue 4.1 as well). After the installation and going to some tutorials, I tried to compile the example 'SimpleQueueSender.java' which was downloaded from Sun website.
Before running the application, I made sure that I have set the classpath, path environment veriables correctly, but still I got the error "package javax.jms does not exist". I have searched internet for help and in all places I found people replying to similar issues. But I was not able to apply the solution as either the folder names or file names specified in the solution is different from what is existing in my system.
Please help me. Also could anyone help me in telling the pre-requisites to ensure a proper running of java application.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards,
    San

I'm not sure exactly what your JavaEE SDK installation contains (there are so many versions) but it will typically contain a Glassfish installation. Under the Glassfish installation, the imq directory contains all the files needed for MessageQueue.
The javax.jms package contains the JMS API interfaces. These can be found in jms.jar, which is typically in imq/lib. At runtime you will also need imq.jar from the same directory, which contains the implementation of these interfaces for MessageQueue.
Note that you will need to start a Message Queue server as well. EIther start a Glassfish server (which includes an embedded Message Queue broker), or (simpler) start a standalone Message Queue broker by running imqbrokerd (from the imq/bin directory).

  • ANT script genrated error: package javax.servlet does not exist

    Hi there,
I am running ANT and confronted this message:
[javac] Compiling 1 source file to C:\eclipseProjects\tomcat_test

[javac] ^I googled around and found this solution:
servlet-api.jar is the jarfile that contains javax.servlet.ServletException and javax.servlet.http.* which are imported by WebTest.java and must therefore be found in the classpath. If javac doesn't find this jar (or the javax.servlet packages), it will say (or shout, depending on my and javac's mood): [the error message]
well...I set in the classpath the location of the servlet-api.jar

I set it with the environment variable (windows xp)

I keep getting a popup error message in Ical "server does not recognize name/password"  This started after they did the change to Icloud and extended our subcriptions.

I guess that the server name is incorrect, then.
    Did it ever work?
Delete the account, reboot the phone, then add it back and be sure you choose Yahoo as the mail server type. Everthing should then fill in automatically except your user name and password.

  • Package javax.mail does not exist (Still having trouble)

    Good Morning
I know that there are several posts regarding issues with javamail. I have viewed them for the past hour. While several of them address my issue I have been unable to locate a solution.
Bare with me please, I am making this post very thorough. The other threads I have read are frusterating because the problems people tend to post are not clear.

Here are the methods I have tried...
    1. Make sure you have most current version of Java
    2. Reinstall Java
    3. Attempt to compile in an IDE (Attempted in Eclipse 3.2)
    4. Set class path
Some sources suggest "CLASSPATH" some suggest "CLASS PATH" as the variable name. I have tried both.
Below is what the classpath looks like in bold.
    Variable Name: CLASS PATH
    Variable value: c:\download\javamail-1.4\mail.jar;C:\download\jaf-1.1\activation.jar;.
I have double checked all folder names and copy pasted all entries to eliminate typos. Javamail-1.4 and jaf-1.1 are both located in c:\download which is the same location Class Path points to.
Thank you very much for your input and effort. I can imagine how frusterating it is responding to 20million javamail posts :) (that may be a bit of an overstatement!)
    Thank you again!

Yes - I have read that part of the README and did exactly as it has said in a previous attempt. I should have mentioned that here I'm sorry :)
I moved the .jar files into the download folder and set the classpath exactly as the readme shows.
When I do that the msgsend.java compiles correctly but it still does not run.
    Below is what happens.
    C:\download\javamail-1.4\demo>set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;c:\download\javamail-1.4
    \mail.jar;%CLASSPATH%;c:\download\jaf-1.1\activation.jar.
    C:\download\javamail-1.4\demo>javac msgsend.java
    C:\download\javamail-1.4\demo>java msgsend.java
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: msgsend/java
    C:\download\javamail-1.4\demo>
I have tried fixing this error as well via forums and FAQs but it seems to be the most generic error.
One suggestion was to clear your classpath. I tried this with a test hello world program which was giving the same error - "NoClassDefFoundError". By clearing the classpath I was able to get the hello world program to run without this error. But I can't just clear the classpath in this instance because it needs to point to mail.jar and activation.jar for the program to compile.
Thanks again for all of your efforts. You are more appreciated than you know.

I tried locating these packages, but in vain. I also tried setting the CLASSPATH to many values, still it did not work.
Can anyone, please, help me with this.
Should I be able to see/locate these packages, do I have to download them?
    Thank you very much.

    Dear All,
I am a newbie to JAVA.
    I installed JDK1.6.0_04, then NetBeans IDE 6.0

What servlet/JSP engine do you plan to deploy to? Tomcat, perhaps?I think it's Tomcat (C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache Tomcat 6.0.14). Are there other engines that come with NetBeans IDE 6.0 (when I downloaded NetBeans, I chose ALL)

If so, you'll need to put the servlet JAR in your CLASSPATH. (servlet-api.jar for Tomcat 5.5 and earlier, servlet.jar for 6.0 >and later.)
I tried locating these packages, but in vain.
You won't find them until you realize that you have to deploy that servlet someplace. How to deploy?
I also tried setting the CLASSPATH to many values, still it did not work.
See above. What were you planning to set CLASSPATH to?First I set to:
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache Tomcat 6.0.14\lib (because I found jar named servlet-api.jar in this folder)
    Later I added this:
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_04\lib (out of trial-and-fail)
Finally I added some paths that lead to a library such as
    C:\Program Files\glassfish-v2\lib
    C:\Program Files\glassfish-v2\lib\ant\lib
Can anyone, please, help me with this.

You have to get a servlet/JSP engine. Step 1.Thank you for your help

    Hi Mahmood,
Oracle.jdbc package will be present in classes12.zip file in <oracle_home>/jdbc/lib directory where <oracle_home> is the directory where Oracle is installed. Place this zip file in classpath and check again.

  • Package javax.jnlp does not exist

I have the following code inmy class file
    public class ExtensionInstallerService implements javax.jnlp.ExtensionInstallerService {
    protected ExtensionInstallerService() {
But I am getting the error message package javax.jnlp does not exist
Is this anything to do with the installation of Java Web Start.Should I try re-installing?

javax.jnlp is in jnlp.jar (see the developers bundle at :
    http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/download-jnlp.html)
you need to include jnlp.jar in your classpath to use the jnlp api's. At runtime when running under Java Web Start these packages are exist in javaws.jar.

  • Error: The specified mailbox database [Mailbox Database Name] does not exist, when you try to export mailbox in Exchange 2007

    [Symptom]
    ======================
In Exchange 2007, when you want to export mailbox to a .pst file, you should run the
Export-Mailbox cmdlet from a 32-bit computer that has the following installed:
The 32-bit version of the Exchange management tools
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP2 or later versions
If not, you may encounter the following error message:
You check that you have these required installed, but you get the error below when you run Export-Mailbox in EMS.
“The specified mailbox database [Mailbox Database Name] does not exist.”
    [Cause Analysis]
    =======================================
This is because that the account you use to run Export-Mailbox cmdlet don’t have the Exchange Server Administrator role assigned.
You can check if this account has been delegated the Exchange Server Administrator role through the following path.
EMC -> Organization Configuration-> Check permissions in the result pane.
To delegate this Exchange Server Administrator role, right click on the
Organization Configuration node and choose Add Exchange Administrator,
you will see the Add Exchange Administrator window.

    Hi,
Based on my test, if you make the user the owner of the database (rather than a user with the db_owner role), when you create a query, it creates it under the dbo schema rather than DOMAIN\username.
Steps to do so (in Management Studio):
    Right click database, select Properties
    Click File
    Change Owner in the textbox
    OK to confirm
Downside - other users under db_owner role will still have their username appended. So schemas have to be created for these users.
