Hello,
CR 2010 is for Visual Studio 2010 only. It's not a stand alone install and it has no usable COM components ( RDC - craxdrt.dll ) that can be using in VS .NET.
There is no upgrade for the RDC. You'll have to rewrite your app to use CR .NET Assemblies. You can use your old reports though but you may have to save them as RPT first in your VB project, or export them to RPT format from the viewer or in code.

  • Bug Found: Illustrator CC *always* merges layers when opening a DXF file - CS6 works properly

    Bug Found: Illustrator CC *always* merges layers when opening a DXF file - CS6 works properly.  When opening a DXF, CC merges multiple layers into one, even if you have the "Merge Layers" unchecked.  Can a forum admin employee get this submitted as a bug report?  Thanks.

    Thank you Larry.  I just submitted this bug report pasted below at the link you provided.
    ******BUG******
    Illustrator CC 17.0.0 *always* merges layers when opening a DXF file, even if you have the "Merge Layers" unchecked.
    1. Open a DXF file that contain multiple layers in Illustrator CC 17.0.0
    2. Uncheck the "Merge Layers" button.
    3. Click OK.
    Results:  It has merge all the layers into one layer.
    Expected results: It should open with multiple layers preserved.  Illustrator CS6 works properly.

  • Where do I go to report a BUG in Adobe Lightroom

    I have installed a trial version of Adobe Lightroom and it accessed a networked drive from a shortcut on my desktop and over 200 images where removed. Typically a program will ignore shortcuts and limit their seach or actions to the named folder only. I need to report this bug and find out how I can restore the files to their source folders.
    Can anyone point me to the right dept.
    I spoke to someone on chat this morning and their 'helpful' reply was they only offer support 'BEFORE' you download the product. Once you download the product and you actually have some questions they will not assist you. Go figure!! Not great service for companies evalutating Adobes suite.

    Are you saying you did a Move import with Subfolders on and/or did a Folder-drag movie in LR Library, and in either case started in or above a folder with a shortcut and the Subfolders option traversed the shortcut to an unexpected location, or something else?
    CS can help you download a product and can help install a product, but aren’t here to train you how to use the product.

  • Reporting a bug - kdeinit4 error

    Hi,
    I am noticing this unusual behaviour in most KDE applications where the application crashes when i use the CTRL-O shortcut to open a file. I have seen this with kate. kwrite and konqueror.
    Now i am trying to use the crash reporting assistant to report this bug, but the backtrace window would tell me that the generated crash report is not useful. The 'list of files' link for needed packages says
    The packages containing debug information for the following application and libraries are missing:
    /usr/bin/kdeinit4 (deleted)
    Using ls -l, i can see that /usr/bin/kdeinit4 does exist.
    Any pointers?
    edit:
    [njathan@OuchLinuX ~]$ kate --version
    Qt: 4.8.0
    KDE Development Platform: 4.8.1 (4.8.1)
    Kate: 3.8.1

    Thank you very much arojas! I followed your link and am now reading the ABS wiki (since i need to rebuild alsa-libs package. I need the later versions of the package, built using pacman -Syu, to have debug symbols enabled. Does PACKAGER variable (in ABS wiki) take care of this requirement? I presume i need to update the file /var/abs/extra/alsa-lib/PKGBUILD ?

  • Warning - gradient fill bug found

    I have reported this bug to Adobe. Watch out so it won't bite you.
    Short version: gradients can disappear completely when exporting to pdf
    Long version:
    A. Gradient fill with default settings. First color starts at 0% and second color ends at 100%.
    Copy an object with this color to Illustrator or export it as a pdf file. This works fine.
    B. Change the start color to 5% and the end color to 90% (anything other than 0/100 will trigger the bug)
    Copy and paste an object with this gradient fill to Illustrator. Result: no fill color
    Export object to PDF. Result: no fill color
    C. Default gradient fill (0% to 100%) + add a third color = works fine
    D. Same as C. but change the start and end colors as in B. Triggers the bug again
    Bug verified in InDesign CS6 and CC on OS X 10.8.4
    Bug verified by Adobe Support.

    Hi everyone. I work for a large format printing company. We receive thousands of files every year from many different designers. We started to notice that gradients would drop out of some PDFs when opening them in Illustrator but they would preview fine when opened in Acrobat. I searched high and low for an explanation for this glitch. The only response I received is "Stop opening exported PDFs in Illustrator." This is an unsatisfactory answer for someone that needs to preflight directly in the Illustrator program. I've done a ton of research and have been racking my brain for the last 2 years and have finally found sufficient workarounds for this issue. The downfall with these workarounds: all spot colors located in the gradients will convert to CMYK mixes. I'm still researching to see if there is a way to keep spot colors intact in these areas.
    A little back story: InDesign is converting the gradients into something called NChannel. It enables more accurate handling of color blending by including additional dot gain and color mixing info. Both InDesign and Acrobat have the ability to display these elements whereas Illustrator, from what I’m finding, does not. Which is why we’re seeing gradient elements drop out when opened in Illustrator.
    Workaround for CMYK Gradients
    Open PDF exported from INDD in Acrobat
    Go to Tools > Print Production > Convert Colors
    Object Type: Smooth Shade (this tells Acrobat to hone in on Gradients only)
    Color Type: DeviceCMYK
    Check Embed next to Conversion Profile (should be SWOP)
    Expand Document Colors on the right and Select DeviceCMYK in Color Spaces then click ok
    Save the PDF
    Workaround for 1 Spot Color in Gradients (Converts Spot Color located in Gradient to CMYK – all other Spots stay intact)
    Open PDF exported from INDD in Acrobat
    Go to Tools > Print Production > Convert Colors
    Object Type: Smooth Shade (this tells Acrobat to hone in on Gradients only)
    Color Type: Spot Color
    Check Embed next to Conversion Profile (should be SWOP)
    Expand Document Colors on the right and Select the Spot that is located in the Gradient in Color Spaces then click ok
    Save the PDF
    Workaround for 2 Spot Colors in Gradients (Converts Spot Colors located in Gradient toCMYK – all other Spots stay intact)
    Expand Document Colors on the right and Select the DeviceN spot color that is located in the Gradient in Color Spaces then click ok
    Save the PDF
    Please test it and let me know if you run into any issues with these workarounds.  I'm always looking for new problems to solve!

  • MAJOR TM Bug found in 10.6.1! Time Machine corrupts HFS+ Filesystem! Raid 0

    Hey there,
    i guess i just found a major bug in 10.6.1 and Time Machine which will corrupt the whole Partion which was selected for the Time Machine Backup.
    This is what i got here atm:
    2x Western Digital MyBook Mirror Ed. (ext. 2TB Raid0 HDD (2x1TB))
    1x Mac Pro running 10.6.1
    1x Macbook Pro running 10.6.1
    1x Mac Mini running 10.5.8
    Ok here we go:
    I just updated to Snow Leopard a few weeks ago and wondered why my always working WD MyBook was not working as a Time Machine Backup Partition anymore.
    Everytime i started a backup it failed after 10 gig or so. After reading all over the troubleshooting and this forum i am a 100% sure that this is not a usually bug like not formatting the hard drive to GUID Mode or so.
    Well... i tried the second MyBook.. same result on both Macs running 10.6.1
    Now i got suspicious and opened the MyBook in order to put those 2 HDDs in my Mac Pro and built a 2TB Raid0 via OSX.
    Guess what? Same result when running Time Machine! Running Time Machine on a single 1 TB HDD was working perfectly fine.
    No i just remebered that there was a Mac Mini hooked up to my TV that was still running 10.5.8 just because of Plex... Hooked up BOTH MyBook Mirror Editions and both worked perfectly fine!
    Now where can i report this error? I have no doubt that Time Machine on 10.6.1 is corrupting the HFS+ Filesystem when the partition is a RAID 0 Partition.
    Please let me know what you think and where i can report this bug. Anyone knows if this one is already fixed in 10.6.2?
    Thanks!
    André

    Yeah i did check the firmware updates for both mirror editions. Both are up to date. What botheres me is that they are not working aswell when they are out of their enclosure and directly built in to the mac pro. Can this really be a firmware issue then?
    From what I've read on repair/recovery sites, WD does put some of their firmware on a special part of the drive's platter itself. So it's still possible to have instructions on the actual disk that can create a problem. I do not know if this is causing your issue, it's just something I became aware of when shooting trouble on some MyBook/Mac issues. There are some WD enhancements to power management that may be problematic for Time Machine. I don't really know the whole story, just relaying what I've read.
    It's also possible that 10.6.2 (in beta) will help with an issue like yours. In our machines we've been using Hitachi and Seagate and the occasion Samsung drives for the last few years. Our external closures come from OWC and we haven't had any of the firmware issues that happened with the Leopard release and WD and now maybe the SL release.
    The only way I would be able to point a finger right now would be to swap in a couple of other drives and see how they work. Right now it doesn't matter who's at fault, Apple or WD. The drives don't work. If it's a problem with your installation you may be able to determine that by doing the above tests. If it's a problem with Apple's drivers there may not be a repair possible or a future update will be required. The same goes for the WD drives.
    Sidenote: For our own network, we have decided to do away with Leopard Server on an old Dual G4 1.42 tower and use our new ReadyNAS drive from Netgear. It's already working perfectly with Time Machine for several computers, file storage for PC/Mac/Linux, torrent download machine, basic web server, etc. We've put in 4 1TB drives and got 2.7TB of redundant hot swap raid. We'll replace the 1TB drives with 2TB drives, one at a time (although the available space won't increase until all 4 drives are swapped in), while the NAS is online, to increase our storage as required and the drives come down in price.
    We decided that if the data is important then a striped 2 drive volume isn't safe enough. We would have needed to mirror the drives and loose half the space and still have to keep the old server online.
    I'll watch this thread for information from others. I don't have the drives you are using to test with.

  • Report a bug in xf86-video-ati 1:7.2.0-1?

    Hello,
    After an upgrade on August 15 2013, I had to deal with two annoying issues:
    1. Libreoffice calc would take a very long time to fully display a spreadsheet with multiple sheets, both when opening the file, and when switching between sheets.
    2. Selecting "Log Out" from the menu button of Xfce would hang the computer for approximately 1 minute before the log-out options window was displayed.
    During both of these events, "top" would show that X was using 100% of the CPU.  After reading through forums and bug reports for issues similar to mine, and messing around a bit with Libreoffice and Xfce, I tried downgrading Libreoffice and Xfce.  Neither of these actions solved the problems.
    What did make the problem go away was downgrading xf86-video-ati from 1:7.1.0-3 to 1:7.2.0-1.  Would it be useful for me to report a bug to the Arch Linux Bugtracker?  If so, in addition to the following, what information would be helpful to include in the report?
    Libreoffice version: 4.1.1-2
    Xfce version: 4.10

  • Bug Found and Fix Found Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig

    9Bug Found and Fix Found> Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig?Hello I was having problems getting my MP3 TAGS to show up on a number of my MP3's.
    Whenever I loaded my files onto my ZEN it would show up as a Voice under Recordings.
    And the file name would be "MIC and the date file created etc..."
    I noticed that these files where all starting with the letters MIC at the front of the filename...
    For instance: Michael_Jackson_Thriller.mp3?? or? Michael_W_Smith_Let_it_rain.mp3
    and so on and so on... ANY file that started with the letters M I C? would be thrown in as a voice recorded file and the TAG would not operate.
    I have the latest Firmware on my MP3 Player.
    The fix was just to change the file name so it did not start with MIC... so i went and switched Michael Jackson to M.Jackson and also switched Michael W Smith to M W smith.
    The tag showed up appropriately and I have had no problems since.
    It would be nice if there was another Firmware update so that MP3's could start with the letters MIC also I was hoping to bring awareness to this situation for other users.

    =Re: Bug Found and Fix Found> Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig?I did three methods of?loading the files.
    I used Windows Media Player to sync the files.
    I used Creative Central to transfer the files.
    These two methods produced results where the file starting with MIC turned into a voice recordings.
    I also had problems just copying and pasting the files (using windows explorer).
    I have not had any problems with any other file. I normally use MP3Tag to tag my files.
    However i even tried using Windows Media to tag the file and I even tried using Creative Central to tag the files.
    I tried as many work arounds as possible. But once i renamed the file it worked.

  • Error in Dialog Module  - INCLUDE report "%_HR9066" not found

    Hi,
    After upgrade from 4.6B to ECC 6.0.When i display/create/change Custom Infotype 9072  in transaction PA30. i encounter a dump stating
    INCLUDE report "%_HR9066" not found. It occurs when the program goes for CALL DIALOG... in the SAP standard program.
    Do advice on how to resolve this issue

    Hi Chayan,
    9066 is the custom infotype .
    After upgrading check for the following things which are related to infotype :
    1) Go to se51 and check for Program MP906600 and screen 2000 exist .If not there is a problem in calling the screen
    2)Go to se11 and check whether the table PA9066 and structure P9066 exist
    3)Check whether the infotype is assigned to the Infotypes in spro .(Optional)
    If everthing is suceessful , the infotype exist in the system . If not one of the objects might miss from the above list .
    Regards,
    Gajalkshmi

  • Syntax Error - INCLUDE Report "%_HR9010" Not Found

    I have an HR ABAP program(Query Generated) that works in Enterprise and is now being testing in the ECC 6.0 test environment and is getting an syntax error. The syntax points the line in the code where a custom infotype is declared with the infotypes syntax. Example:
    Infotypes:
    9010
    syntax error reads:
    'include report"%_HR9010" not found.
    Why am I getting that syntax error? The syntax error does not occur on standard sap infotypes, 0000, 0001, 0002. It appears to be failing on custom infotypes.  The Structure definition is there, the table definition is there and there are thousands of records in the table and it can be read by other programs with no problem. What piece is missing, could it be something to do with Infosets, whatever they are?

    Hi Murali,
    Please excute the report RPUMS40CCI. This report is to generate infotype includes and additional structures required for not only custom but also standard infotypes.
    In the selection screen provide the infotype number and select checkboxes 'Generate infotype include'
    and 'Generate additional structure'.
    Note: "RPU40CCI" is only for infotypes which starts with number '9*'.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Report Definition not found - calling a report from JDev.

    Hello,
    I have the following on my local machine:
    BI Publisher
    Jdeveloper
    I created a report in BI publisher called Test1, and now I am creating a web service in jdeveloper to call it.
    I am having issues with calling it from my jdeveloper.
    here is the code I am using to call my report (below).
    Since BI publisher is installed on my local machine I tried both paths but neither are working
    1- final String reportAbsolutePath = "C:\\Test1.xdo";
    2 - "http://aramamni-us.us.oracle.com:9704/xmlpserver/~administrator/Learn/Test1/Test1.xdo"
    I am sure 2 will not work since System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint()); returns
    "calling http://localhost:9704/xmlpserver/services/PublicReportService"
    I know the problem is with this line of code but I can't figure it out.
    repResponse = myPort.runReport(repRequest,username,password);
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            try {
                bip_webservice.proxy.PublicReportServiceClient myPort = new bip_webservice.proxy.PublicReportServiceClient();
                System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint());
                // Add your own code here
                 final String username = "Administrator";
                 final String password = "Oracle123";
                 //final String reportAbsolutePath = "/Web Service Test/HR Manager/Employee Salary Report.xdo";
                 final String reportAbsolutePath = "C:\\Test1.xdo";
                // Testing runReport
                System.out.println("Testing runReport Service");
                ReportRequest repRequest = new ReportRequest();
                repRequest.setReportAbsolutePath(reportAbsolutePath);
                repRequest.setAttributeTemplate("default");
                repRequest.setAttributeFormat("pdf");
                repRequest.setAttributeLocale("en-US");
                repRequest.setSizeOfDataChunkDownload(-1);
                System.out.println("1111111111111");
                ParamNameValue[] paramNameValue = new ParamNameValue[1];
                paramNameValue[0] = new ParamNameValue();
                paramNameValue[0].setName("EMP");
                System.out.println("2222222222");
                paramNameValue[0].setValues(new String[] {"20"});
                //paramNameValue[1] = new ParamNameValue();
                //paramNameValue[1].setName("p_job");
                //paramNameValue[1].setValues(new String[] {"CLERK"});
                repRequest.setParameterNameValues(paramNameValue);
                System.out.println("3333333333333");
                ReportResponse repResponse = new ReportResponse();
                System.out.println("4444444444");
                System.out.println(username);
                System.out.println(password);
                System.out.println(repRequest);
                repResponse = myPort.runReport(repRequest,username,password);
                System.out.println("55555555");
                String contentType = repResponse.getReportContentType();
                System.out.println(contentType);
                byte[] baReport = repResponse.getReportBytes();
                FileOutputStream fio = new FileOutputStream("C:\\temp\\test.pdf");
                fio.write(baReport);

    I tried to follow the suggestions provided in the earlier post and called the BI report from SOAP UI
    but i am getting an error
    oracle.xdo.webservice.exception.OperationFailedException: PublicReportService::generateReport for reportAbsolutePath [/users/weblogic/Sample/Training.xdo] failed: due to oracle.xdo.servlet.CreateException: Report definition not found:/users/weblogic/Sample/Training.xdo [username=weblogic]
    I am not sure what is the issue.
    Can you please guide me on the same?

  • Report definition not found

    I install OBIEE 11g and login to BI publisher.
    However, I get errors as follows
    Report definition not found:/~administrator/Shared Folders/Sample Lite/Published Reporting/Reports/Product Listing/_report.xdo
    Where is the correct report definition?

    The report definition, if store on File System, are located under folder OracleBI_HOME\xmlp\XMLP\Reports for shared folders and OracleBI_HOME\xmlp\XMLP\Users for user reports.
    Hoep this helps.
