How can I get my PS CS5 x64 to support CR2 format?

Not all CR2's are created equally. Depending on which camera it is from it may or may not work in your version of Photoshop. Every single Canon camera technically makes a CR2 that is unique to that camera. So what you'll need to do is check what is needed to support your camera here:
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
Then check if your version of Photoshop supports that:
Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications

Thank you for responding. So I essentially will never be able to use that button in lightroom 5? do I need to get LR 6? Will there ever be an update for LR 5 that will enable me to use it?
Does DNG Converter work within LR or do I have to upload pictures to my computer and then make a second copy in DNG format. and then go into LR and use them?

Have the following query:
Does USD NACHA CCD Plus Format support one single payment with one vendor and another single payment with
different vendor in single file or will it generate two files for two payments or will it support single payment only.

Both two payments came single file.
But we know that USD NACHA CCD Plus Format support Single Payment only.

My lightroom 4 will not import my files from my compact flash card . It has been working for years with out fail but now there is no import previews and it says the files are not recognized by raw format support in LR

I have lightroom 4 I've had it for years and it has imported my raw files from my CF card without issue . Now when I plug in my CF card to import new files it says import operations not performed and there are no image previews . When I continue by hitting "import" I get a pop up window that states "the files are not recognized by raw format support in Light Room"

Don't feel too bad. If the D4S has as many menus and custom functions as my Canon 5D Mark iii its easy to get messed up.
If you downloaded from the link I gave you it will be Lr 5.4. The link was just to show you when the D4S was supported. The newest version is 5.7.1 and can be downloaded here. Don't know your OS so you will have to pick Windows or Mac. Product updates
On my Mac I just run the downloaded installer program (its a full version and not an small update) and it installs the new version and erases the old version. If you are on Windows you will have to get help from a windows person.

What output formats support the play speed settings on a PC using windows media player?

What output formats support the play speed settings on a PC using windows media player?
Here is my need. I need to take my video clips with me on my small PC and view them at slow speed. My playback PC is small and a little slow, so I cant have a very high bitrate. It uses an ATOM processor. It uses windows media player. I noticed the slow playback option is available in some formats when opened with windows media player, other formats--feature not available. What are the best output settings to save my clips on my small PC?

OS = XP-Pro SP3
Intel Core2 Quad 2.66GHz
RAM = 4GB
Graphics chip = nVidia GeForce 8800M (recent, but not latest nVidia driver)
I/O = 3x SATA II 7200 RPM 250GB
Virtual Memory = Static 10GB on D:\
WMV's play pretty well in both Slo-Mo and at about 2-3x speed

Canon 7D Mark II error "Files are not recognized by the raw format support in Light (149)"?

Has anyone tried to load raw files from a Canon 7D Mark II I get an error "Files are not recognized by the raw format support in Light (149)"?

Based on previous experience, I expect the final versions of LR, ACR and DNGC to be released simultaneously. We have so far seen Release Candidates of ACR and DNGC but not LR.
Unless there needs to be a second ACR/DNGC Release Candidate which happens once every few years for special circumstances, which I don't see any of at the moment.

When importing images from my camera, LR is converting my images to DNG, but, not saving my CR2 format as well. How can I figure this out?

I am shooting with a 5D Mark ii and have been noticing a lot of noise/grain to my images. Canon asked me to send them a few examples in the CR2 format. When I did a spotlight search on my Mac not one CR2 file showed up. All have been converted to DNG and it seems I have "lost" the CR2 format.

Rob, the option to retain the original Raw file (in this case CR2) is in conversion to DNG done from the Library module, not to conversions done during importation when Copy as DNG is selected, because in this case the original remains on the card.
CDPhoto, if, on the Import page, you select Copy instead of Copy as DNG, your files on the hard disc will be CR2s. If your really do want them converted to DNG, in the right side panel select File Handling/Make a Second Copy To: and designate a location. The second copy will be CR2.

I assume you mean the Nikon D810 because D800/800E support has been there since Lightroom 4.1
Currently, because it is a new camera (D810) the only support is in a RC of ACR 8.6 for Photoshop CS6 and CC, as the RC runs out on 31 August it is expected support will be there in the next dot release of Lightroom.
Current limitations are that only full sized NEF is supported.
If you wish to import to Lightroom 5.5. you will need to download the DNG Converter v8.6RC and convert the NEF files (full size RAW ony) to DNG then import into Lightroom 5.5

I am new to this mac world and i am a happy user too. I recently got a iwork 2008 and i would like to know that whether the file format could be viewed by a PC user or not? Coz only few have mac and the rest uses Microsoft product. Do i have to buy any MS Product? Or i should continue using my iwork application? Bit confusing initially.

Can we get ext4 format support for microSD cards on Galaxy S5? New permissions that come on KitKat break some of my apps that need local storage. The enhanced permissions available with EXT4 should fix this as that is the internal Flash format. "Use the cloud" is a non-starter so don't even suggest it.

Not directly, but as a large customer they have a big say in what gets loaded in the ROM as evidenced by the many (unwanted) preloaded apps. Adding EXT4 file system support to restore Verizon's end customer user experience is something they can insist on. It is a simple requirement to add when the end manufacturer builds a custom ROM for Verizon. The underlying system already supports it and alternative ROMs (CM) have been created with that feature. I'm just not ready to install alternative ROM code on a phone that was just released, and only a week in my possession.
