Crach my iphone 4s...

So far as possible I have been trying to find a way to get a answer. Here is my first problem, I have crashed my iphone I cant start it the display have go black and total smashed. When I start the phone its only light and with dots. Now I left the iphone family and yes I miss you.. so I bout a galaxy s5 and now I can't log out from my icloud our iphone.. soo how can I log out from all this with out paying for a new screen...
My sis still need to chose all the sms and mms to send them as text msg... yes she have a iphone....
So pleas can someone please help me...?

IPhone app crach on simulator 'run' but not in 'debugger'

Hi, I am currently doing some development on the iPhone simulator and seem to be stuck with a problem. When running my code directly from the simulator or from the xcode 'run' feature, the application I am writing will crash (seems to be a socket select problem). However, when running through the debugger, all is fine.
The console doesn't give any details, nor do the system logs, expect for the following:

I don't have a device to test it on yet, so can't tell if it's any different.
Does anybody know of any tools that could help me understand what is making the application crash or might have suggestions on how to move forward?

Never mind. I restored my phone to new and installed what I needed.

Mail and address book continue to crash upon opening - iPhone related???

Ever since I synced my iphone last night I cannot open my mail app or the address book app. Everytime I open them they crach before getting open. Any thoughts?
I I delete my prefs will I loose my mail accounts and address book file? Also if I delete prefs should I do a restart? then try and open the apps again?
I have already tried to repair permissions.

As long as you copy user>library>mail folder to somewhere else, you will NOT lose your mail in/out/sent and accounts informations.
Give it 24 hours. It's been 20 hours so far. Things will get fixed and hashed out.

My updated iPhone 3GS from 4.2.1 to 6.0.1 is stuck in restore mode

Hi,
I've got a problem with my iPhone 3GS, which is stuck in restore mode.
I've done theses steps :
Update iTunes to the last version on my Windows7
Connect my iphone and synchronize for the first time
Manually backup my data with iTunes (more than 4000 pictures, messages, ...)
Accept to download and update to iOS 6.0.2 from iTunes
iTunes backup my data once again and starts the iOS update
When my iPhone is updated, restore process starts and craches with an "Error -10" message.
The iPhone is fully functional but completely empty. I check this page - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946 but can't find my backup.
If I check this path \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\ or use iTunes to find backups, the only are made by itunes with iOS 6. Old backupswith iOS 4.2.1 have disappeared.
How can I retsore my iphone ?

Mail & address book crash after iPhone sync & will not open

I dumped my prefs and restarted and was able to get mail and address book to open. I did have to re-setup my mail account though mail still had all my folders thanks goodness...
New problem though now my phone won't sync. When I connect it to the dock iTunes says that there is an error and it cannot sync. I was getting something like that before and I had to do a restore on the iPhone software.

IPhone 5S Voice Memos

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the voice memos.
I am using an iPhone 5S -> iOS7, back up from iPhone 4S (the voice memos were recorded in iPhone 4S).
Previously, my iPhone 4S had the same problem too.
The voice memos can't be found in the iPhone VoiceMemo app, but it can be seen from iTunes > On this iPhone > Voice Memos playlist.
The memos are greyed out in iTunes, but can be played.
Also, the checkbox in iTunes > Music > Include Voice Memos is unchecked.
Someone please teach me how to remove all the voice memos in my iPhone 5S and also from the iTunes.

Is there a way of getting a "schedule view" in iCal on a mac and on iPad in the same way you can get one on iPhone?

IS there a way to get a schedule view of events on a busy day in iCal on the iPad 2 Air and on the Macbook Pro? I can get this view on an iPhone.

I am paranoid that some untrusted technician is going to make a copy of my music (11,000 tracks) or share some of my personal information (scanned copies of my birth certificate, passport, certificates, photos, etc.) on the web.
If you put your info into the computer and hand it to another, you have to assume they will copy everything.
Why are you putting scanned copies of valuable identity information into a computer than can be hacked, stolen, lost or compromised by a dirty tech?

No. The tech would just deny it if he did, or tell the truth which the answer would be "NO" in either case.
The employer won't ask that sort of questions without solid proof, less they make a enemy of the employee and/or risk being sued for defamation of character.
It's not like they bother to have a team of people watching over his shoulder that he doesn't stick a USB thumb drive of your data into his pocket to take home.

If it's iTunes music, it has your personal ID embedded into the song files. Most IT techs know this though.

Too late now, all you can do is not worry about it.
Take your personal info out of the machine and if you need it, burn cd/dvd copies, a few USB thumb drives, Iron Keys or self encrypting external storage drives with key and/or keypad.

How can I use one account on 2 Iphones?

I want to use same icloud account on 2 iphones. The problem is with contacts, each iphone use different contacts and if I sync both phones with same account contacts mixes and is added from phone 1 in phone 2 and vice versa.
It is an option to separate the contacts and get them to each phone separately?

One iPhone can do it all.
This is a very usual case if someone has a personal phone number and a business phone number. This is done for a number of reasons, including having a separate bill for the business number and so you can avoid taking calls on the business phone when you are technically "unavailable".
Besides the group idea, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having two separate iCloud accounts for one's personal and business use. Just as with the phone number, the email contacts, email account, calendar, etc. can all be kept separate.

IPhone 3G no longer recognized by iTunes

I don't know what happened. I haven't changed any settings on my pc. I updated my phone software to 4.0.2 last week with no apparent problems. I think I've charged on my pc since but can't remember for sure. Now when I hook to usb, it goes on and off. Like not the power, but it (the iphone) will connect and show charging and I get the windows message that the apple camera is connected and what do i want to do. then it blinks off, like shows my welcome screen, not charging. then a few seconds later it shows up again and shows to be charging. it goes through this over and over. And iTunes does not recognize the iphone, says an error occurred.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Perhaps a failing USB port (check with another device) or a failing iPhone docking cable. Could also be some debris in your docking port on the phone - have a look.

Cannot send email from an iPhone to a Outlook group.

My question is simple and I'd like an exactly same answer : Can iPhone users send emails from their iPhone's to one or more groups created in Outlook?
This is my situation: our organization is using iPhone to provide email, calendar, contact, task etc. to some of their employees. We are using Airwatch MDM Agent on user's iPhone because we have an Airwatch server in place. I have an user and she has an iPhone 5 and she has created some groups in Outlook but these groups are not reflected in her Contacts in the iPhone. I have update her phone with the latest update, although I was almost sure that this was not the issue, then I've found some interesting posts on internet saying that this was a known problem for the users with the previous iOS but I thought this might has been corrected with the iOS, apparently not.
Also I've tried ''the trick'' that is posted on several forums with the iCloud but neither so it's working. I am looking for a straight answer, if this works or not on iPhone's?

Cannot send email from mac account on iphone

i'm getting error CANNOT SEND MAIL ...the connection to the outgoing sever "smtp.mac.com:myaccount" failed. I'm able to sent email from other email account ie. yahoo, gmail

You can try deleting the account on your iphone and setting it up again.

Suddenly coudn't access my mobileme email account. So I changed my password; and since I couldn't send email from my iphone 3G
I can send/receive emails from icloud webpage or Thunderbird.

I agree, unplug and replug your router, then reset your iPad by holding down the sleep and home buttons, ignore the red power down slider, and wait til you see the silver apple. let it reboot and then try your connection.
Chances are rebooting the router will help. You may also need to talk to cox. They may need to reset something on their end.

I talked with a tech today and he said I cloud is having problems which should be resolved shortly.
In the mean time I used the .me smtp server settings which allowed me to send mail.
