Crack Line Appearing on my Zen Mi

I saw a cracked-liked line at the edge of my zen micro.
I have never knock it or drop it... The line just came out like that.
I really wonder what causes this crack line. :robotsad:

I am really pissed about it too.. its cuz the back is clear plastic which was a stupid idea for creative cuz of course it will crack. heres a pic of mine-

is that what ur crack kinda loks like? i have one on the back too! AHH the thing that annoys me about my micro is its delicateness...
oH, did i mention i treat it like an infant? i have never ever dropped it, and keep it in a poofy case- its rediculous.

Crackly line with broadband drop out

Hi, another that has a crackly line! When I spoke to my ISP tech team this week as my connction (or lack of it) was driving me insane the engineer was shocked at the number of drop outs there had been. I had put this down to too many children at home and online at the same time!
I have previously logged faults due to the noise with BT and each time they come back and say that the line is fine and it is therefore a fault in the property. As the phone does work I have just put up with the crackle.
Following the info from my ISP I have plugged a corded phone into the test socket under the cover today and the line is still noisy. So after that did a little searching and founds loads of various forums with people experiencing the same problem. Which would appear to possibly be something outside my home but difficult to trace.
I have just finished my weeks holiday so cannot take time off for an engineers visit anytime soon, will they try and trace a fault without visiting? I also do not have £130 to give them for the privilige!

when you report your phone fault they will arrange an engineer visit but you will also have to agree to pay the callout charge should the fault be your fault - bad internal wiring or damage. this is standard

How to configure multiple line appearance in IP Phone 7931

How long should a reasonable person expect their computer screen to last before a pixel drop out line appears? I have been asked to pay for a repair after 1 year and 19 days!!

A thin coloured line appeared on my i-Mac screen and I have been asked to pay £139 to have it repaired. This was reduced by the manager of the Sheffield store from c£300!!
The computer is 1 year and 19 days old but the warranty period is 1 year. I was uanable to bring the machine in earlier but the problem was there 2 weeks ago within the warranty period. Still no joy from the store as I had not reported it before the 12 months!!
What with Time Capsule back-up issues I an beginning to lose faith in Apple.
Surely a reasonable person could expect the machine to be repaired FOC as a goodwill gesture?

Not after the warranty has expired. Apple has no obligation to do so.

When I came back i found that the dispaly of my laptop became white and black, some lines appeared on it. Everybody in my family told me that no one has dropped my laptop or done anything that can cause this problem. there is no any service provider of apple in my country. WIl, the international warranty cover this case? I bought this laptop not from apple store,but in a simple store and I lost reciept.

Extra header lines appearing in payload after singning and encrypting in Mail Receiver adapter PI 7.31

We have a mail receiver adapter which is sending out a edi payload as attachment to the external receiver.
When we send the normal .edi file it is ok.
But when we sign and encrypt the payload and send it out, the external customer receiver decrypts and validates the message successfully but when their application tries to read the edi payload it finds the extra header lines as below :

application/xml
At their end, their application (DataPower) expects the first three characters of the payload
(decrypted payload) to be either UNA or UNB.This is how it validates whether the incoming message is an EDI message.
But it encounters the extra MIME headers in the payload.
Therefore it gets rejected by DataPower which thinks the content is an
unknown message type.
How to suppress the header lines appearing in the payload(after decryption and validation).

White lines appear on videos since my new Mac Pro - Why?

I'm the happy owner of a Mac Pro 2,7 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon E5 / 64 gig RAM / 2X AMD FirePro D700 6144 Mo running on OS X 10.9.3 (13D65).
I'm using CC latest version but also Red Giant Magic Bullet LOOKS to color grade my videos (on an adjustment layer). I have 3 HDD (1 SSD in the computer with the programs + 1 external (Thunderbold) G-RAID for cache files + 1 external Pegasus R6 2 (Thunderbolt 2) for the footage).
Sometimes, when reading (but more often when exporting in Media Encoder) white lines appear on the video (see image below). Why?
Is that a Premiere problem? Is something going wrong with my Mac? I have already reinstalled everything from scratch but the problem remains...
I was working with the same programs on my previous iMac and I didn't have this problem.
Any idea ?

So far, it appears to be an issue with OS X 10.9.2 and up. Why are white lines appearing in images in PDF files but not the original InDesign files?

Let me just start out by saying that I'm not a graphic designer and have basically no experience with graphic design programs, aside from the little futzing around I've tried to do with InDesign. My company (which publishes a monthly magazine) has decided that it would be a great idea to get the files to our magazine from the graphic design firm that actually handles the production end of things so that we may offer back articles, etc., and modify them as needed. Somehow I've gotten assigned the task of handling this. However, I've encountered some problems along the way. The graphic design firm uses Quark, we own InDesign (CS3) and use Markzware to convert the files. Most things seem to work okay in this arrangement but I'm having problems with the images in the file when I create PDFs. Although the images look fine in the InDesign files (and are of print quality), when I create PDFs of some files, thin white lines appear over the images in the PDF document. I asked our graphic designer about this but she has no idea, and she isn't very familiar with InDesign.
So, my question is, where are these lines coming from and how do I stop them from appearing? As a reminder, I'm not a graphic designer and am fdairly ignorant in design software terminology. If you're kind enough to try to help me with this problem, I'm going to require an explanation in plain English. Basically explain it to me like you would to a 10 year old.
If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I think Bob was typing too fast and meant to ask if you were distilling, not to tell you distill.
Distilled PDF (you get distilled by printing to PDF rather than exporting) always flattens transparency, which is what makes those white "stitching" lines.
You can make the stitching disappear on screen by turning off smoothing in the Acrobat prefs, and it shouldn't print on a press, but it sounds like you may be doing the output on a digital machine and it's likely to show on the lower resolution output.

Max no of lines appear in the back ground job out put

I am execution ME2N report in background. There are more then 100000 line item in the out put. However only 5000 line appear in the output of background job.
Is there any setting in sap, where i can change the max no of out put is more then 100000 in back ground job?

Click on the settings button and choose the 'The last' radio button for dispaly area and put in 10 pages.
Sometimes just clicking on the Last page button on the Tool bar will do the trick

Horizontal refresh lines appearing on Desktop Preview since 10.6 upgrade

I just recently upgraded my system to Snow Leopard, and unfortunately I am now getting TERRIBLE horizontal refresh lines during full screen playback in FCP 7 on my 2nd monitor. It is so bad it is unusable.
When I play back video on with Desktop Preview full screen on my main monitor, the video looks great. I've even plugged the monitors into opposite ports to test and it's definitely not my monitors. The same thing happens on my opposite monitor if it is plugged into the second jack.
I tried playing back the same footage in Quicktime Pro on both monitors. NO ARTIFACTS.
I've also reset PRAM, trashed prefs, etc.
It seems that 10.6 has broken an nVidea video driver and caused a bug in FCP 7 and is causing a terrible refresh line that pokes out in transitions and during bright scenes and contrasty imagery. PLEASE FIX THIS APPLE. I would hate to have to reinstall 10.5 just to use FCP.

I have tried a few things listed here to correct this problem, I think I have figured it out. The steps I took to get rid of the lines that randomly appeared across the screen (desk top) and with in open windows are as follows:
First I ran apple jack on auto mode. You have to start up in single user mode. I did this three times as recommend in another forum that I can't remember the site now.
Second, I freed up some memory. I used appDelete.app and rid my computer of all applications I haven't used or no longer needed.
After the above steps, I reset the PRAM by restarting while holding the option, command, P & R key down, until the start up chime sounded three times.
I did this over a week ago and not only is my system running faster, I haven't had one line appear in any open windows or across the display.
Side note, I recall that the time I started noticing these lines, was shortly after downloading internet explorer, I needed that browser for a job related site that didn't or wouldn't work with Safari or Firefox. After I used that browser for my employer, I never used it again. Shortly after that install, is when I started noticing the lines. I removed that application using appDelete.app and again no lines ever since.

Lines appear around transparent objects!

I think my previous post on this topic was lost somewhere in the adobe forums machine, so please excuse my repost.
I've noticed that exporting layouts from InDesign CS3 that contain transparent graphics causes the resulting PDF to show DARK LINES AROUND the transparent objects (at the transparent border). I've been using all compatibilities (1.3--1.7), and found that the lines appear on any PDF set to 1.4 or above. (1.3 doesn't have the lines, but it shows stitching lines (white lines) around the entire transparent frame box, so it's unusable.)
If I zoom in and out with the reader, I see the lines come and go, but don't want users to see a poorly rendered PDF at ANY zoom level.
How can I create a professional looking PDF without lines at the transparent borders?

Thanks for the reply. That thread was helpful in showing some of the effects that I'm seeing (e.g., turning off "image smoothing" in the Acrobat preferences helps). However, I'm still interested in producing a clean looking PDF that doesn't contain dark pixels all around the edges of the transparent images.

This effect only appears when I export a PDF with the Compatibility set to anything above "Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3)" (so it only looks good with the oldest item in the list).
If anyone has a suggestion on how to create a PDF without this effect, please let me know. I know I can always just put the blend in to the original image, but that seems so 1990's ;)

White lines appear on OAM placed in InDesign

Hello. This is my first post in the forums.
I've just placed my first OAM file into an InDesign folio. The initial/downstage image views great in both Edge Animate and InDesign but once the folio is uploaded and viewed on a tablet device horizontal white lines appear. Has anyone experienced this behavior with OAM files and tablets? I've seen postings about white lines appearing in PDFs but not folios. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

Although it is odd that three computers exhibit the same problem, and unless you can provide other coincidences (same files, same monitor, etc.), I agree. The video card is typically the culprit IF the image anomalies don't print and if they move about with each image resizing or opening of a specific image. Check to see if it's properly seated and connected. Same for monitor cable. Try swapping in another card.
One other thought: as this is a CRT monitor, what happens if you change the resolution and refresh rate? Are you using a recommended combination for that monitor?

Lines appear under all text when you press enter--edit?

Hello,
I have a text box, whose formatting I want to edit.
When you press enter a horizontal line appears automatically before you enter in text on the new line. I want to edit this line so it is closer to the text.
Where do I go to edit this feature? I already looked in text frame options and I know that it is not a style.
