Cracked Iphone 5 help!

I cracked the front of my iphone 5. I have only had the phone for 5 months. What do I do? Is it under warranty or should I get apple care to replace the phone or do I pay the $229 at the apple store?

Some people have reported that Apple has allowed them to purchase Apple Care + when they bring in a broken device. They pay the cost of Apple Care + and then the deductible for the phone. I also said they would have to ask the Apple staff. I would not have suggested that if I was not aware that it had been done before. I am aware of the initial rules, as I have Apple Care + on my 5s, and have had it before as well.

Otherwise, maybe. Regular AppleCare, if you have it, can't help you. But you might still be able to get it repaired – of course, any repair will cost you. Apple will replace a damaged iPhone for a flat fee.

It sounds like you have damaged more than the screen. Take it to your nearest Apple Storer Repair or out of warranty replacement.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

To replace your phone's screen costs $109US and I don't see why having Apple replace the screen would void your warranty.

Okay, sorry I was thinking you wanted to delete the pictures on your old iPhone. Go into your camera roll then tap the albums button to get to the album view then tap the edit button (right top) then tap the red circle to delete that album.

You can get Leopard 10.5 by calling the Apple Online store.
Tell them you purchased a new iPhone and need 10.5 because you have a PPC Mac and cannnot run 10.6..

No, you cannot. And even if you had an iPhone 5c screen to use to try to replace the other iPhone 5c's screen, you shouldn't do that, since it permanently voids your Apple warranty.

Was your cracked screen fixed by an Authorized Apple Service Provider? I may be wrong, but I didn't think they fixed such things.
Regardless of who fixed it, and whether it was an authorized repair or not, I recommend bringing it back to the agency that fixed it in the first place. But note if the repairing agency is not authorized by Apple, you may not want to spend much more money on repairs there for this unit.
