Cracked Treo 650 screen that I need to sync with my laptop

I have a Treo 650 with a cracked screen. I can turn it on and it lights up, but I can not read it. It has information on it that I need to store. I had my phone in my back pack, had to place the back pack on the ground. Someone came along and placed their heavy bag on top of my and cracked my screen. This has be over a year ago. Are there any smart teckies out there who can help me. PS. I never got to sync my phone because I got it sent to me while in Iraq. The phone is charged. I need help ASAP, please!

Have you tried using a HotSync cable with a button built into it? I'd try doing a HotSync with one of these - just press the button and hopefully it will HotSync to a compatible computer with Palm Desktop installed.

Your backups can be deleted here: iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu in Windows)>Devices...highlight & delete here.

During the activation process you were asked to set up a passcode. If you say no, it pops up a small notice, "are you sure you don't want a passcode, recommended". Do you remember entering a code?
if not, the only option is to restore the phone with iTunes And start over.

Make sure that yo have the boxed chanced to only sync the checked music. It appears that it is trying to sync ore than those.
You can try unsycing all music and resyncing.

My ipad was in the process of updating (ios7) while at the same time syncing with my laptop. suddenly the screen turned black and after few seconds the new itune icon appeared on the screen. the same icon appears even after i reset it.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid this, but since you purchase apps using your Apple ID, you will be able to get them back by going to the App Store > Updates > Purchased > Not on this iPhone. If you have iOS 5, you don't need to worry about it, as they can be restored via iCloud backup.

My itunes erroneously says that my ipod is synced with another computer when I try to sync. What can I do to fix this?

First, right after updating my iTunes to the latest version, my iTunes will not display album covers. It says exactly "iTunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer." It has never been an issue before, but, anyway... that is where it all started.
Then I read a bunch of Apple Support topics on the subject, and it directed me to replace my library file with a previous library file. So, I did, and now, not only will my albums not display, but my iPod Touch will not sync with my computer, the only computer I have ever used it on. It says that the ipod is synced with another library and asks me if I want to erase and sync (I have my music on my computer, but I will lose all of my apps and such).
What can I do to resolve this? Thanks for the help.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
All media content will be erased during the first sync, but you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one. Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.
