I am started now as ATG and would like to know as I make to create a group of email (email list) in the Collaboration.
I am thankful.

Within the Collaboration Suite there is an admin interface. There you can setup groups and assing users to them.

How to create a group of e-mail addresses

Hi,
I need to create a group of recipients (mailing list) using a list of e-mail addresses. I guess I need to use the Address Book, but I could not find the correct way to copy/paste the entire block of addresses. The only way I found was to insert each address, one by one. This drives me crazy because I have to insert some dozens of addresses. Any suggestions? Thanks

This would be an ideal use of Address Book's File > Import...
From Address Book's help:
To import contacts:
Export addresses from another application in a supported format.
Before exporting tab-delimited or CSV files, you may want to note the order of the information fields. If the file doesn’t contain labels, you can refer to your notes to manually identify the fields in a later step.
If the application you’re exporting from supports it, export vCards that include multiple contacts to speed up importing. For example, in Outlook select all of your contacts and choose to forward them as vCards. Send the email message, which includes a vCard attachment for each selected contact, to yourself on your Mac computer. In Mail, save the vCard attachments, and then use Address Book to import them.
Verify the exported .txt or CSV files using a text editor such as TextEdit.
Make sure there are no line breaks within a contact’s information, which can cause the import to fail. Remove any line breaks you find.
Make sure that fields in a .txt or tab-delimited file are separated by a tab, and fields in a CSV file are separated by a comma, instead of by quotation marks or another character. Do not include spaces before or after tabs and commas.
Make sure all addresses have the same number of fields; add empty fields as needed.
In Address Book, choose File > Import, select the file you want to import, change the encoding if necessary, and then click Open.
If you’re importing a text file, review the field labels Address Book will use for the information. You can change field labels, or choose to ignore or not import fields.
If the first card contains headers, review the headers to make sure they are correctly labeled or marked as “Do not import,” and make changes as necessary. Any changes you make to this card are made in all of the cards in the file. To exclude the headers card from being imported, select the “Ignore first card” checkbox.
Use the arrows to browse information in the file to determine if fields need to be relabeled or not imported.
To change a label, click the arrows next to the label and choose a new label from the pop-up menu. If you don’t want to import a field, choose “Do not import.”

How do you create contact groups for e-mail for iPhone 3GS AND IPAD 2 ?

GContacts is for both the iPhone and iPad. It can be found in the US App Store. Don't know what country you're in so I can't say for sure you can find it in your App Store. If you do a search on "contacts" in your App Store you should be able to find some contact manager apps.
There is a way to create a contact with a group of email addresses.
1. In Notes app create a list of email addresses separated by a comma. Example [email protected],[email protected] Highlight the list and copy.
2. In Contacts create a new contact and give it the name of the group you want.
3. In the email field paste the list of email addresses.
Note: you are probably wondering why you have to copy and paste the addresses into the email field. If you try to type the list into the email field, you will find that there is no way to type a comma in this field.
4. Save the contact.
5. When you create an email, select the group entry from contacts.
You may get a message that the email address is invalid, but ignore the error, because the email should still be sent to all addresses.

When forwarding mail i select a group to send mail and when i go to select another group it will not open for me to select other emails in that file.

When you select a "group", it automatically selects everyone in that group.
If your just trying to add other people outside that group, then in the "To" make sure the curser is just after the last entry and you can hold your finger on that line to get your contact list to pop up or after the last entry you should have showing after that ;
Example: [email protected]; [email protected]; *notice the ; then a space for the next one

Bummer with Mavericks and changes to smart groups in apple mail

I am so not happy with Mavericks and how it changed smart groups in apple mail. Before it was easy to create a group mailing to my clients. I find nothing helpful in their help link either. I want it to show in bcc so I can see who I am mailing to. Seriously, i would not have downloaded this if I had known they'd get rid of the ease of smart groups. Since there are no smart groups now, why do they even have it listed? The option? I can't see what I can even do with it. Do I sound crabby? Yup. Thank you for helping. I need to bcc to a group of 271 clients. Bad apple! Bad! Seems like newer versions should bring improvments, not the opposite.

Yes that is what I had to do yesterday and it wasn't easy but quirky, as far as entering names etc to clients. There's now nothing "smart" about it. They should remove the smart group folder since it doesn't really exist now. I was not a happy camper.
I repeat here what I said earlier in case you did not see it: I called Apple in Cupertino, CA and spoke with someone in Customer Care I think it was. She was nice and listened but said that she has no power with higher-ups and to post here and that they do see it. I hope enough of us post about this issue that they change it! Go to: apple.com\feedback , then to products, choose Maverick (I guess), drop down window and post there. I will too. Thanks.

Address Book and Mail - Using Groups for e-mail

I've noticed something strange about Mail and Address Book in Tiger:
I created a new Group in Address Book. The Group contains people who are involved in a project. I have names, home addresses and phone numbers for eveyone, but a few people do not have e-mail. When a try using this Group to send out an e-mail message, Mail warns me that John Smith does not appear to have a valid e-mail address. I can't send the message unless I select only those in the group who have e-mail addresses and only send to them. This is a pain.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug in Tiger's Address Book and Mail.app? How can I get around this? I have several Groups like this that contain entries with no e-mail.

It's not a bug in Address Book, it's a limitation. Your only way to get around that is to either remove those from the group, or give them all the same email address; i.e., send those to you so you are reminded that they didn't get the email and you have to notify them some other way.
And of course, when sending to more than one person, never put the recipients in the To or CC field; they should always go in the BCC field.

Hiding Group recipients in Mail with Mavericks

I have recently upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.2 and realise that I am now breaking the rule of not showing all the recipients addresses in a Group mail.
Prior to upgrading, the system was working, and when I mailed to a Group the To: field only showed "Undisclosed Recipients". I confirm that in Preferences the box for showing all addresses is de-selected. Always has been.
Now all the Group Smart names appear in the To: field, and if you click the disclosure triangle on the name the whole address is displayed....bad for security.
The only work-around at the moment seems to be to put the Group in the Bcc field, but this then leaves a blank in the To: field which looks suspiciously like a Spam message.
I must be missing something that has changed. Any ideas please ??

With Microsoft Entourage, you can create a group, fill it up with email contacts and then check a box that says "Don't show addresses when sending to a group." As you might expect, this is handy when I want to send a mass message out to lots of people I know while at the same time respecting the privacy each member may have as far as sharing their email address with others. I can't find this feature with Apple's Mail, if in fact it even exists.

Vendor account group sensitive field mail trigger

Dear All,
We have configured the sensitive field in vendor master so that whenever someone change the sensitive field mail get trigger to that users.
Here problem is for employee vendors also that mail gets triggerd.
So we want excluse those vendor account groups from this sensitive field.
Is this possible?

Whenever we are changing the sensitive field it will go and sit inthe FK08 transaction.
then some one has to confirm or reject then only it will get update that field.

Hi.
You don't say which iMac or version of OS X you're using... so here is some info for OS X 10.8.1... and maybe 10.7...
It starts with Groups created in your Address Book or Contacts app... depending which OS X version you are using.
Basically, create a group... add contacts to that group... then in Mail, address your email to that Group.

Group Email-Undelivered Mail

I have various groups setup up on our server with users added. When I send an email to the group the members of that group are receiving my message, so I believe I have the correct settings for group emails.
The problem I'm having is that after a few weeks mail stops being forwarded to the recipients in the group and gets returned as "Undelivered Mail Return to Sender". I can get everything working again if I stop the Web service and then restart it.
This problem is driving me crazy as I cannot locate what might be the cause. Any help would be great.

I guess you might be using the wiki group email feature ? or a script that goes through the groups you have setup and builds an alias database ?

Not receiving mails directed towards my group manager's mailing list

I joined recently and used to receive mails directed towards all team members who report to my group manager(i.e. mails sent to [email protected]). But since last 2 weeks I am not receiving those emails. Can any of you help me to resolve this issue or please provide me with the pointers to whom I shall contact ? Thanks.

You're not part of 'pambale_org_ww', it could be a bug or there were some org changes. Moreover this is the Beehive Online forum, please raise a service request or post this in the ST Beehive forum to fix it.

Auto emailing of PO's of particular purchasing groups to common mail Id

Hello All,
There is a need to have all the PO's created with multiple purchasing groups to be sent to a common mail Id.
For Example , there are various purchasing groups like PG1, PG2, PG3,....and so on & the need is to send all the PO's created with these purchasing groups (PG1,PG2,PG3....) to be sent to a common mail ID
Kindly advise how to proceed further regarding this.

Create a customized program which choose PO detail based on PO PR group. Then write a funtion module to send mail to external mail ID POs as PDF attachment.
