Crash while installing the update to boot camp drivers 4
I want to install the boot camp diver 4.0 but it crashes and ends on a blue screen. anyone similar problems? the boot camp partition was made on os 10.6.7 now I'm on os 10.7
Bootcamp assistant 5 will only work on 64 bit windows 8 or 64 bit windows 7 - period!
If you're running 32 bit Windows 8, you have to download bootcamp assistant 4. version
3 or 5 won't work. Apple's grand scheme is to only support 64 bit Windows in the future. Win7
was the last 32 bit Windows that Apple will support. Bootcamp Assistant 4 is not supposed to
work with Windows 8. Apple will tell you that it was intended to only work with windows 7.
I am writing this post from 32 bit windows 8 using Bootcamp assistant 4 which is not supposed
to work, but it does. At first, Windows displayed an error screen saying that Bootcamp was
incompatible and would take a really long time to boot I replied "Run the program anyway."
If you click on help, windows will say it can't be fixed and to contact the manufacturer.
I had loaded 2 copies of Boot Camp Manager 4. Big mistake! I had to go into Task Manager Startup
and disable the second copy of Boot Camp Manager I rebooted and everything works like a charm.
So far, so good. No problems at all. I have Win8 configured so that I run everything from the Desktop
and ignore the start screen completely. I don't know if that makes any difference? My Win8 boots
up in 10 seconds, (SSD), and shuts down almost instantly. That alone makes it worth the price
of admission.

hi Guys
Im trying to make the update on my IMAC and i always get an error saying: an error occurred while installing the updates ( 103 )
Thanks and hope some one can help me
CheersIt would be helpful to know to what update you are referring. For now try this:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
Download and install OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.3 (Combo). -

ITunes 10.1.2 error message "Errors occurred while installing the updates"
Getting a blank page on the iTunes store, I was told that updating to 10.1.2 should fix that. Currently running iTunes 9.1.1.12. While downloading the updates, I get the following message:
"Errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools>Download Only and try installing it manually."
I have tried installing the update both ways (through the update utility and manually) several times and I keep getting this error. It's very frustrating. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris

I have an older Mac Pro (2006). I want to install Boot Camp and Windows. I have installed a boxed Snow Leapord on the machine. And it says the download of the Boot camp drivers cannot continue because they are not available. But at that point I have not inserted a windows disk, so how does it know i have XP?
So it appears I am limited to Windows 7? And where are the Windows 7/Boot Camp Drivers? On the OS disk?
Finally, since I have necer considered Windows 7 before, I assume there are no compatability issues with mainstream applications that were running in XP?
Thank you.You're welcome
Just remember to reformat the partition (bootcamp partition) to NTFS with the windows installer, ensure to pick the correct partition. -

"Errors occurred while installing the updates" when trying to install new 11.4 version. Any suggestions? I'm trying to install on my work computer--Windows 7 Professional.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if a particular component won't install normally.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

Hi I'm suffering with this issue Bug#3506758 - MySQL 5.6 Unable to Execute Queries
and therefore am trying to update cf 10 to version 13 (current version is 8) however I get 'Error occurred while installing the update: Failed Signature verification'
I'm running Mavericks on Mac.
Can anyone point me to a step by step way to resovle this please (I'm new to Macs and am a cf coder but alas dont have any experience in server admin).
Thanks very much indeed.
NickI was going to suggest that you needed to install the mandatory updater, but the Adobe help page for it says you shouldn't need to if you already have update 8 installed. Might be worth verifying though.

Stateful Session Bean Initialization (EJB 3.0)
Hi all! In EJB 2.1 the initialization was with create (args) methods. NOw, how is it exploited? Create methods are no more there and there must be a way to send parameters to the stateful session bean when it is newly created...isn't it? Thank you!
