Crashes at the "New Terms" page

I've used ITunes Store for over 4 years and never encountered a problem. Now, each time I try to buy an album, I get to a page that says that ITunes has new terms for purchase and before I can select continue, ITunes crashes. I have no idea what to do. I've closed and opened ITunes. I've even reloaded ITunes 7.6.1. Same crash every time.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I've had the same problem and can't get any help from Apple or iTunes!!!
Here's an idea, I'm about to try this myself.
First check for any 'Add-ons' located in your user library and put them on your Desktop.
Then Re-create your iTunes library (back up your music first to an external hard drive just in case). Locate iTunes folder in user/Music.
Open iTunes folder. Drag iTunes Music Library.xml to Desktop.
Drag to Trash iTunes Library (iTunes 4 Music Library to some).
Open iTunes from File menu (may have to download again) then choose Import.
Click on the iTunes Music Library.xml file on Desktop and click Choose.
You may then have to restore playlist.
It's worth a shot. I've gone bananas over this problem so I'm going to give this a try.
Good Luck, let me know if it helps you. Cheers llily

  • HT1937 tried to purchase an app from my iphone 4G phone and I wasn't able to do so because when it took me to the Terms and Conditions screen where there was 54 pages, there wasn't a section or button to accept the new terms at the end of the 54 pages.

I have an iphone 4S and I wasn;t able to purchase an app for it because I wasn't able to accept the new Terms an Conditions section. When I reched the last page of the Terms and Conditions, there wasn't an accept button or section, therefore I wasn't able to complete my purchase. Please advise.

    Hi vernel,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
First, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
    Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

After unsuccessful attempts with "do it on the desktop and sync", I found a duplicate question at: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23011347#23011347
The solution of "turning on cookies" worked for me.  You can always turn the cookies off following the "accept".

  • Why can I only accept the new terms and conditions and keep getting sent back to agreeing (5 times and still going in circles)

Seems that I can no longer install anything, as every time I get forced to a page to read and accept the new terms and conditions - and no matter if I accept them or not, I only get sent back to read them again.   Another reason my next smartphone will be android based!

  • I can't agree to the new terms and conditions

When I try buying a song I am brought to the new terms and conditions page.  When I press agree though, the page doesn't change at all.  I've tried restart itunes and the computer but nothing changed.  What should I do?

Yes, several times with support from the local server, verizon support people and apple support.  I wonder if the phone is faulty?  Neither my hotmail or local work email accounts will send, only receive.

  • Where is the accept button for the new terms and conditions

After scrolling through 54 pages of the new terms and conditions, lo and behold there isn't an accept button.  Where is it?

I installed the upgrade last night on my imac and accepted the new terms without any problems.  My problem is with the itunes store app on my iphone 4s.  When I click on the app, there is a white page and at the bottom of the white page there are the categories music, tv shows and etc and nothing else. In the app store app, I try to update apps and I get a prompt to read and accept the new terms and conditions.  After scrolling through 54 pages, there isn't an accept button on the last page.  Where am I supposed to agree to the new terms and conditions for my phone when there isn't an accept button?  Is the itune radio replacing the itune app store?

  • How can I set the New Tab Page so that it only shows my Bookmarks (Like chrome) and not the history ?

Hello, I've recently installed Firefox on my new PC after giving Chrome yet another chance (I've had bad experiences with it) and after seeing crashes everywhere I just gave up. I'm a long-time Firefox user but I've never been able to figure out how to prevent the New Tab Page from showing the Browser's History.
Is there a way to make Firefox show Bookmarks and Folders on the NTP instead ? Also, is there a way to make the Bookmarks bar show on the New Tab Page ONLY ?

The about:newtab page shows pages that you have visited. So if you visit a page by clicking a bookmark then that bookmark will become a history item and will thus appear in one of the tiles on the about:newtab page.
If you want then you can customize the tiles and drag bookmark (and history) items in a specific tile to pin that web page to that tile.
You set the number of rows and columns that appear on the about:newtab page by modifying these prefs on the about:config page via a double-click.
    *browser.newtabpage.columns (3)
    *browser.newtabpage.rows (3)

  • Unable to swich to my proper icloud account to confirm the new terms.

    Backgroud:
A few month ago I changed my icloud account email.
    Yesterday I've updated to ios7.
In the iCloud setting there is still the old icloud email shown.
    The problem:
I cannot accept the new "Terms and Condition" (setting/iCloud).
    Tried solutions (not working):
1)Doing so by (as many suggested in other posts) by the FindMyIPhone app.
-I cannot log in using my old email because obviously it's not recognized by apple anymore. Loging with my new email doesn't solve the problem.
2)Tried deleting the account from my IPhone to reconnect with my new icloud email.
-I cannot give the password as the account no longer exist. I even tried to reset my password using apple help page but no email was sent to me.
I would be grateful for your help!
    Thank you,
    Aleksander

If you still have access to your old email address, do the following:
Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the pimary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was.  You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account.  You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so.  You can either contact iTunes support for assistance with this (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html), or contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

  • How do I display more icons on the New-Tab page? I tried about:config

The New-Tab page I see doesn't match what FF shows in help. I changed rows and columns and nothing changed.

    Hello,
With the latest Firefox update, the number of tiles is now determined on screen size - if you zoom out or expand the window you can have more tiles appear.
If you want to set a fixed number of tiles, you can do so with the following extension:
    * https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/
You can also see '''jscher2000''''s Chosen Solution here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1025414
It requires the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/ Stylish] add-on but will automatically shrink the tiles on the page and will limit the tiles based on what you entered for your rows and columns in the '''about:config''' page:
    * https://userstyles.org/styles/106326/shrink-new-tab-thumbnails

  • TS4425 when trying to access photo stream on Apple TV, I am getting the error message terms and conditions have changed, but when I go into iCloud on my Mac the new terms and conditions are not appearing - How can I manually agree to them ?

When trying to access photo stream on Apple TV, I am getting the error message terms and conditions have changed, but when I go into iCloud on my Mac the new terms and conditions are not appearing - How can I manually agree to them ?

  • How do I access iCloud from my iPhone 5 because it keeps throwing up a message that I have to accept the new terms

How do I access my iCloud account on my iPhone5 when it has greyed out everything. I can't click on anything & it keeps throwing up a message: to use iCloud I have to accept the new terms & condtions & when I click on there it says it can't contact the server!! This has been happening for months

If you are already signed into iCloud, first save your photo stream photos to your camera roll, then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide your password and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted.  Then after 30 seconds or so, sign back in.  This deletes the account and iCloud data from your phone but not from iCloud.  Your data will reappear on your phone when you sign back in.

  • Is it possible to have the new tab page appear by default when Firefox starts?

Can Firefox be set to display the new tab page when starting the browser? In Options > General, the only choices under "When Firefox starts" is show the home page, a blank tab, or restore previous session.
Alternately, can the new tab page be set as the home page?

You can add "about:newtab" to the Firefox shortcut on the desktop.
