Crashes on FTP connect

Question

I'm running DW 6.1 on a Mac (recently upgraded to a MacMini
with OS X 10.4.10). When I click the icon to connect for ftp upload
it says that I am connected to the host and then when "retrieving
remote folder information" DW suddenly shuts down with no error
message. I gleaned this from the report (not sure it helps):
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000
This happens no matter who the hosting company is. Hope you
can help me with this.

Did you recently install new memory, or did you recently have
power
problems?
This error may be related to damaged memory, your MAC OS CD
should contain
an apple hardware test program,
or you can use a third party application to test your memory

specifically:
EXC_BAD_ACCESS/KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE - This is caused by
the thread trying
to write to read-only memory. This is always caused by a data
access.
